I can achually see a bark skin comming from Gogh. In the picture the Gogh fruits grew from trees.

But it's not about the tree itself. It looks like a too complicate connection. I think it would work better for other item, more woody.

How is it :too complicated"?

I have to agree with Ungoliath, I could see the bark skin be in a more wooden item instead of the Gogh reed.

Gogh is more Tropical rather than regular woods. Also, it's more colorful than the skin that Mr presented. I don't say it's a bad an item, I say I can't relate it with the Gogh particulary.

those are clarinet reeds...I broke them all the time when I was in band. emo And they tasted sooooo nasty! gonk

...but when i think of reeds, I think of marshland more than forest, but i think ethe is going more for green reeds based on the leaf poses and green that we've gotten so far in the EI.

thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't get the right scheme for the orange one...it's supposed to be light with a dark tail but my fingers got a bit numb on the laptop.....

A crazy theory of mine, based on art of ethe. She said that She was asked to do an EI and then she inmediatly thought on the Reed. This lead me to think that she had something in mind previously, a story to tell. She previously did something like that with Fausto. You can even see the first picture of the bottle on her deviant art.
In the picture of the first evolution, she said that there was a hint of what the Gogh will be. And you see a little chamaleon acting like an Owl.

Also, there is a picture of the Owl Tribe with something really similar to the staff of the first stage.
