Well, the doll is the evolving part of the evolving item. It is the only thing changing, and all the while you're getting more clothing items to match it.

But you've to ask yourself, Jazz...Does that actually sell by it's own? I've read a lot about Hermes, but I don't see too many users using the Bunny posses. In fact...I actually didn't see any of those in 4 months. Same with the "Crack" posse of the Eggs. They were boring, and not really interesting. The cloth makes users attached to the item to see the latest evolution of the main concept.

That's very true. That's also the reason why I think they changed from the original idea of 'it's an item that evolves' to just an item that has a ton of cool poses and clothing, while also having a theme or an actual part that does evolve, though it is less popular therefor less important. XD

As for some of the suggestions not going with the items, I agree. When I was running the Inari's Beads thread, I knew enough to be able to say, no that's not fitting with the theme and not add it. That caused a lot of drama though. Drama that I decided I didn't want with this thread. So I accept whatever is put in the suggestion format and let us all have a say. So if you feel it's not in theme, say no! Even if it's a sweet pose that could change the face of gaia forever, I'm going to vote no if it doesn't fit the theme.

I do have to say though, that the giant parrot idea was submitted before we got the dead bird, I just wasn't able to get it to vote before I did. With the amount of suggestions that have been made and an average turn around of 2 days to get 100 votes, things are a bit behind.

Anyway differing opinions aside, I think we can all agree that we love EIs...for better or worse! xd

We can wear the mask, but we don't have any floating masks. (If we do then I guess I accidently overlooked it sweatdrop ) I should make a crappy edit for the mask..O,o Gives me something to do XD

I have to agree with Ungo. Some of the suggestions just dont go with an item.

Case in point, someone wanted a giant parrot for the Ara Egg. Even after we got... dead bird...
I dissagreed with the idea before and after because it just doesnt fit in with the theme or the story.

D; b-but parrots are piratey... emo

I see what you and Ung mean though. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing something like this with the Ara Egg...after all, it is an egg. And you do get a live parrot before it dies. xd

Wish I knew of this earlier. sweatdrop Since I begun running my "What do users want to see thread' about the Nestegg, the discussions have been not so much my preference, since there's alot of ideas like "Space Pirates" "Steampunk", and my most unfavorite "realistic monkey". So, even with drama occurences, would you suggest for me to remove those that are from this category so that the artist doesn't think of my thread as a laughable, worthless, POS?

Regardless of how Gaia coined the "evolving" concept, it's bringing in some nice cash and that's good for everybody. cool
