Hey everyone! As glad as I am and I'm sure many of you are, with the bathtime items I still need to campaign for the bedtime items and the bathtime housing items, so I've had Rhisiart make some new edits. You've all seen the male nightshirt but one intelligent soul pointed out that girls will want to wear one too. So, I am presenting, along with five nightgown variations the female nightshirt! Don't forget to post your favourites or any improvements you might like to see.


Huzzah! The devs have made some of the items suggested, as promised, and even a few we didn't think of! Thank you devs! Thank you so much! And a thank you to all the gaians who showed their support and/or gave ideas, we did it!

As promised Rhisiart has done for us all the pj tops with an open option (See below his edits for his theory how it could be doable without the devs having to change current items ... much)
More importantly, Rhisiart has finished the new male edit he promised. Presenting, the Wee Willy Winkie set!
He couldn't decide whether to give the slippers pompoms or not so he thought he'd let you guys decide!

The last two stripe and silk pj edits were alternatives he thought of because he was having trouble figuring out how to make the stripe and silk pj tops different.

I even thought of a way that the devs might use that means they aren't changing a current item.
These tops will need to be on the underwear layer. If they make these tops as new items it adds to the gold sink factor that so many people want. Then, someone buys the shirt they want to match their pjs with. Then, if you equip the singlet first (or something - not sure about the coding) the option then comes up to equip the pj top open or closed. This way noone can attempt to equip the pj top open naked or however would break the tos.

COMING SOON: A male adaptation of the towel edit, plus a whole new edit!

Thanks to the summer event we have an item very similar to the suggested "dripping wet". Unfortunately, I believe it was glitching temporarily when I equipped it and can no longer be equipped the way I am wearing it. Mods, if you are reading this, please give this option to the splash and it might be one less item to make when you start work on these suggestions? Unless you are planning to make a new one (fingers crossed).
What do you Gaians think? Please post your feedback as to whether the splash should be redrawn or they should just make "dripping wet" it's own item later.

I also hope they'll bring out towels soon. A follow up to the summer event would be perfect timing. Something along the lines of "Now that we're all wet, we need towels! Go to Aekea to get your towel!" ... Just a thought ... thought Aekea as it hasn't had an update recently. Comments?

Lanzer posted on page 16 saying how they were too busy to implement these ideas now but to keep reminding them for when they can use the ideas, so please keep posting your ideas, feedback, etc and help us get the items!

EDIT: To celebrate the slippers pose in the new cloud I thought I'd post the cloud cushion from the old pillows to hug thread. It will be on page 12 to not add to the clutter of these already very full posts. I may add the other edits that smokeykat did for that thread too. Hope you all like them.

Basically, I was thinking of an expansion for the pj sets, then I realised that many people would probably want bathroom items and possibly some more housing items too?

I will post the list below and try to keep it up to date with any other suggestions people might have.

If you can't think of any new items to add, maybe you can think of clever names for the items. I'd love to see any suggestions and you'll get credit for the names. Name ideas will be posted in orange to make it easier to spot them

And it would also be good as it could be spread over almost all the stores instead of the same damn stores always getting new items!

This is a gaia-wide item update suggestion NOT a monthly collectible.

Please note bathrobes and dressing gowns are not the same thing. People do sometimes use one for both, but they are made from different materials. Bathrobes are always made from a toweling material (no matter how soft or not they are) and dressing gowns are made from almost any material (sometimes not even opaque or warming to wear!)
