Yeah... I'm only upset that they allowed them to be bought in Loyal's while all our sealed ones had to remain sealed. Any small profit we could have made on selling the items is now completely gone, and some of the items are so abundant as to be nearly worthless in terms of market value... meaning any multiples we get are not going to serve much of a purpose.

I don't know that we deserve compensation exactly, but maybe an acknowledgement of this aspect of the problem and some assurance that in the future the sealeds will be usable before the ones in the shop.

I am not upset that the gates had to be locked

I'm upset the ones in the SHOP are UNLOCKED, it's just feeling like we who contributed to the goldsink got screwed over, most chance for a good profit are gone now.

OH WELL I'll be sending several gifts I suppose lol

So agree with both those points. I don't mind being patient, but when they allow the shop ones to be open, yet not the ones from the kickstarter, it irks me. Especially when my 5 billion went towards helping the gates to be unsealed in the first place. Oh well, nothing we can do but continue to wait, and wait, and wait for ours to be unsealed. Just my 2 cents

After doing some calculations there are some of us that aren't convinced that we even got all the items we paid for.

So angling for another 5 seems unlikely to work.

There's no need for compensation. s**t happens, sometimes stuff breaks when you don't expect it to. Gaia can't predict stuff like that , I don't think anyone actually lost anything??

A little off topic but what leg mod are you using on your avatar?
I know it's a re-color but I don't remember the original item's name, I'm hoping to find the original by typing the re-colors name in the MP ^^;;

It's totally unfair that the ones in the shop are unsealed and yet we have loads taking up unnecessary space in our invo's!
All the the Gates that are taking up space in our invo's are now totally worthless (along with the items in them) so there's no value or point in selling them in the MP,
Another note is that how long will Gaia take to fix them?
If they take too long then the whole faze (as I call it) with the Gates would fizzle out and then we have the huge task and problem of weather or not to either sell them (even though they're worthless) or dump them in the dumpster drive.....similar situation to the caches really, maybe as a little apology Gaia could add on a sell back value to things like the Gates that way we could shift the easily....

A sellback value would be a pretty decent way to offset some of this. Just to make sure we aren't having to sell these things for way less than the asking price of the RIG. They do test features before releasing them, but thousands of people hitting something at once can cause problems they never expected. It was an unforeseen issue that they're working on fixing ASAP. A lot of people weren't even expecting the RIG to come out immediately, so waiting an extra day or so to get the bugs ironed out isn't a big deal at all. I don't think it requires any extra compensation.

That would be true if they also disabled the gates you buy in the shop, but those are already open. Now the kickstarter contributors are at a disadvantage.

A sellback value would be a pretty decent way to offset some of this. Just to make sure we aren't having to sell these things for way less than the asking price of the RIG. I think it's really crappy that those of us who contributed to getting the RIG released are getting the short end of the stick.


In a way it would make alot of sense as most of the stuff in the Gold Shops have a sell back value, Why hasn't Loyal's got that? =/
I think so too, it just seems unfair in a way sad

Well, other than the fact that those that did the kickstarter were supposed to be able to open theirs at the beginning so they could sell it and make profit. Now the marketplace is flooded (comparitively) with the items people got from the unlocked RIGs in Loyal's shop....which I can't buy because I put my gold into the kickstarter. So I lost out big time.

They should have locked all of them/removed them from loyal's until this was fixed. Now the only incentive to participate in the kickstarter is gone, just too late to prevent anyone from wasting their gold. That's the problem. I put almost all my gold into it since it had somewhat reasonable tiers. Now I have essentially nothing for it. I won't be doing any more kickstarters...I have no more gold to reach any future tiers and I'm not wasting what I have on rewards that I won't get (because the RIG isn't the reward really, it's opening it ASAP that is, to either have the items first, or to sell them for the mentioned profit)

Ah, I see. I've never done the kickstarters with the intention of making money off them, mostly because i know most of the items aren't gonna be worth anything in the end.

This event just left a bad taste in my mouth, no joke. I feel somewhat ripped off to be honest. . . It's not because that I can't open my packs (though I was able to open my singles [3 from the event + 1 bought on the MP] earlier this morning/afternoon]), it's because I feel that the items are incredibly lame so far.

So, should we get compensation? Ehh. . . That's really hard to say. Maybe? I'd like to get some of my gold back, but I know that s**t long gone & I already know that Gaia won't do any form of compensation or whatever. You know, this was my first kickstarter event that I've ever took part in & after this fiasco, I'm already done with them. I've sworn off of them for life.
