Hello, and welcome to Scattered Memories! Most of you probably clicked on this link, thinking it's a chat rp. I'm sorry guys, this is not a crossover chat rp. Instead, this is a semi-literate crossover rp. But it'll pretty much be set up like a chat rp, so don't be fooled!

Basically in this crossover rp, the character you play as has lost the memory of something dear to them. It can be a person, a thing, a place, anything. Your character can even forget the memory of someone dear to them, but remember their entire life besides that or they could forget their entire life, but remember the people they know~. You awake in a strange room, certainly not your bedroom. Gazing around the room, you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in ages, cobwebs and dust on every inch of the room. The room itself look worn down; in fact it looks like someone hasn't been in it in ages. However, that is hardly an important matter in your mind, seeing as it feels like something seems to be missing... or wrong.

"You're probably right." crackles a voice.

Startled, you quickly sit up from the bed you were laying on, only to meet a cloaked figure. The figure merely laughed at your alarm, completely not frightened at what you could possibly do to it. "Unlucky you!!! What a terrible fate has befallen you!!!" it laughed, finding this entire situation amusing, "The house and taken another victim! Don't bother trying to remember what it is you have lost, it might cost you your life." whether or not it was human, you could not tell. Though it's voice was unlike any you have heard before. Sitting up from the chair it was sitting on, it crackled again, "In this house, you will see many horrors which you cannot imagine nor try to comprehend. I'll be wary if I was you, the house will try to do anything it can to devour you. Which is why you're missing an important part of your memory. The process has already began.

"There are many others like you wandering in it's halls; lost souls from other worlds, dimensions, different fabrics of time who are just as scared and lost as you are. I would suggest you all band together, if you ever hope to find your important memory and to survive! But who ever listens to my words? There has yet been a person to escape this monstrosity!" You can merely only stare at her in question, wondering what this insane fool is babbling about. It merely crackled again, as if finding this all as an amusing divine joke, "You'll see the truth yourself the moment you step out from this room. There are some places in this house you can find sanctuary at, the spirits dare not enter places of rest nor do they dare show themselves during daylight.. Be careful though, anything precious to you, this house will take." It began to head to the door, yet paused before opening it, "Also... a word of warning. If the house discovers you have regain what is most dear to you... it won't hesitate to eliminate you. Beware of the spirits as well, they enjoy playing tricks on their victims, taking the form of the one who is most dear to you before devouring your soul..." With that, it opened the door and disappeared into thin air.

Where are we exactly? How do we escape? What was it that we lost...? Most importantly... who can we trust?
The creature didn't bother answering any of those questions, leaving you to the mercy of the house and it's magical inhabitants...

I'll just get piss is all. So please follow ze rulez~ Oh yeah, make sure to follow the gaia rules and stuff. Meaning no p00rn, mkay? No dirty pics, keep those to yourself seeing as we have midgets using this thing~ Let's all keep our posts at a pg-16 level.

Now, like I said, this is a semi-literate rp. NOT a chat. Don't be fooled by how they look similar. I just set it up so the do. The kind of posts I'm expecting every post are one to three paragraphs. A paragraph being three to five sentences long. This is the kind of post I'm expecting:

Gilbert Nightray (Pandora Hearts one x one rp)

Ah.... such a blissful feeling... Gilbert didn't think he ever felt this good before. Such safety and warmth... It felt like he was laying in soft, warm clouds that were shielding him from the harsh weather that seemed to disappear... In his feverish sleep, Gilbert was vaguely aware of the things going on around him. It felt like he was being carried... that was much his feverish mind could put together before it completely failed on him, sending him back into darkness. He was aware, yet at the same time not aware in the darkness. It felt so cold... his body couldn't help but shudder. What happened to the warmth that was with him? Where did the clouds go? Gilbert vaguely wondered about that before loosing awareness again, this time the darkness completely consumed him. Ah... so cold... yet so feverishly warm at the same time... It was maddening... Waking up was hard... he just couldn't for some reason. It was like something heavy was pressing down on him, preventing him from breathing or opening his eyes. How long was this torture going to last? Was it that jackass who was doing this to him? Was he going to suffocate and kill Gilbert now because he provided the man a displeasing performance?

Gilbert slightly moaned in his sleep, sweat running down his brow. Why... why was... he....... Was he.... Was he in a bed...? Eyes finally fluttering open, Gilbert gazed in a daze trance at his surroundings. Too bad he couldn't make out a damn thing. Everything was so blurry... and he wasn't feeling very well either. From what he could tell, it looked like he was inside a house... and in a bed. Did Break found him and brought him back home because he was worried...? Well, Gilbert could honestly see Break doing that, but not out of concern for Gilbert's well being. Mostly just out of concern of loosing the money Gilbert made for him... Gilbert, however, was soon pulled out of his thoughts as he notice the form that was laying against the bedside next to him. He couldn't help, but gaze at it breathless. "A-an... A-an A-angel..." he managed to muttered in awe. It could be no other thing. It glowed with such a heavenly beauty, it looked untouchable. What was it doing next to Gilbert...? Had... Had Gilbert died and gone to heaven? Though the fever had somewhat blinded his sight, making everything blurry, he could tell the form was beautiful. Beautiful golden locks of hair... they seemed to emanate a halo around the fair creature's head. Was it sleeping? This beautiful creature... was it waiting for him to wake up? "Beautiful..." he whispered out, managing to reach out a shaking hand to touch the soft beautiful locks of golden hair. As soft as feathers... Lost in his admiration for this beautiful creature he could barely see through his sickly, hazed eyes, Gilbert didn't notice the white ball of fluff that began to stir at his side. He would soon regret it in a moment. The kitten Gilbert had saved from the rain was pleased to see him finally awake, no doubt worried about it's savior and his illness. It didn't waste any time to quickly and gracefully make it's way towards Gilbert face, giving him a few licks on the face. Gilbert froze from fear, dreading the sound he knew would come next.

"Meow~"

The man let out a yelp of fear, quickly pulling his hand back from the beautiful angel and tumbling off the bed to the floor. He regretted his movements the moment he moved, feeling his wounds ache and a familiar pain run up his spine. But it was nothing compared to the pain he felt when he crash landed on the ground. Gilbert let out a choke cry, his vision immediately blacking and all thoughts being wiped out of his head momentarily. All he felt was that dreadful pain up his spine and he couldn't help but let tears come out of his eyes as he sobbed out. He just couldn't stop from crying. His fear of cats didn't matter to him at the moment as the kitten quickly jumped off the bed, clearly worried about the shaking, broken man.

His breathing sharp, heavy, and painful; Gilbert slowly tried to push himself up. His body wasn't having none of that though. It didn't want Gilbert move at all, sending sharp jabs of pain all over his body to let him know. He let out another strangled cry, collapsing to the ground again. Bitterly thinking, Gilbert could honestly say he wasn't in heaven. There wasn't any pain in heaven. There also wasn't any nicotine cravings in heaven... Like the one he felt like now. Gilbert tried once more to get up, the kitten meowing in protest. Gilbert grunted something which vaguely sounded like "don't order me around..." as he tried to get up again, this time slowly. It didn't help at all. In fact, the pain felt worse this time. Finally, Gilbert collapse to the ground, not moving. Eyes still blurry from his fever, he stared at the white, fuzzy fur ball that was in his eyesight vision, weakly muttering to the cat to leave him alone but it wasn't having none of that for it quickly didn't waste any time snuggling up against his warm, feverish body again. Well, this was just perfect. He was ******** scared, yet he couldn't move a damn inch to get away from his fear. Lucky him. Well... seeing as he couldn't move he'll have to wait for who ever saved him and the cat from the rain storm last night to help him up.
...................... How embarrassing...

(totally took that from one of her one x one rps) It doesn't have to be that long but you get the drift, right? I'm expecting basic grammar and spelling, know where to put your periods and capitals at people and please tell me you know how to spell the word "the." Also no t4lk!nG lyk3 d1z!!1!1!one!!. Not only does it hurts people's brains, but I can't understand a word you are saying. Really, "you're speaking in a different language and I'm wondering if you are speaking English here." is the type of reaction you'll get from me. I'm not kidding.

One more thing, I expect you to post at least once a week, you got that? If you can't post due to some real life problems, pm me so I can know. I'm a pretty kind, and generous women. I can be benevolent at times. Just make sure you inform me, alright?

Respect

Dude, nobody likes it when people start cutting other people down, or calling them names. Really, don't fight on this chat. I'm serious. If you are that pissed off, just log off for today, or take it to the pms. Nobody wants to deal with your PMS drama, alright?? Show some proper eloquence and be polite towards others. You know that saying? "Do unto others as you wish others to do unto you." Follow it like your life depends on it because it will. I'll chase after you guys with a pitch fork if you don't.

Characters

I don't care, you can play as many characters as you want, thought I suggest with this kind of rp, you stick to two or three. Especially if this thing becomes fairly popular. I expect you to keep up with them, play them regularly. Oh yeah, please oh please make sure the character you are playing as is in character. We don't want any lollipop licking, skipping Itachi around who's dancing in a field of flowers, singing "Oh, I'm such a pretty girl~" Believe if I don't do it first, someone will shoot you. I'll only allow such scary, and evil times when there is an event like... OOC day. A day I will purposely miss...

One more thing: No OC's (Original Characters)! Really, this kills rps. Seen it too many times. So... yeah... No Mary Sues. Or Gary Stues. Or OC's... You get it, right? Moving on.

Romance

If you are like me, most of you are going to moan and groan about this but... Keep the Romance pg-16 (or was it pg-13..?). Anything else, like sex and stuff you will take to the pms. Same rules will apply to the offline thread. PG-16 guys. I know, I'm crying with you as well... But, Gaia policies~

Joining

You WILL fill out that profile skeleton correctly, ya got that?! That also means the PM title. I expect to see the caps in the PM title as well! Also, if you join and don't post at all at the time limit of a week, I'll kick you off. If you have a reason why you can't post within that week after joining, let me know and I'll let you slide. When joining, please title your PM as " There is no Escape " without quotation marks and caps included. Also, after joining, you'll have to post up your profile on the profile thread~ I know, sounds like a pain in the a**, right? But this is so you can put notes and stuff on your characters for other people to read about. That's why I have it setup this way~ Also, when you apply for new characters, be sure to edit your post. NOT post a new post, alright?

One more thing, when you send me your application, please send me a sample of a post, like the one I gave you guys above in the posting section. If you really terrible with basic grammar and spelling, I won't let you join. The sample has to be at least a paragraph long.

Before you join, make sure you check the profile thread, the reserve list, and the deaths list to see if the character is either dead or taken.

Reserving

There is no profile for Reserving, Just give me the name of the character, name of series character comes from, and your user name and we'll call it good. You have a time limit of one week to send my your profile skeleton of your character, other wise I'm taking them down. If you can't do the skeleton due to real life problems, let me know and I'll prolong your time limit. When Reserving, title the PM as " Target Acquired " caps included without quotation marks.

Deaths

Character deaths only happen when you no longer wish to play as that character. The house will devour the character and it's soul. Until the next profile clean out, the character's name will be put up on the death list and no one will be able to play as that character until the next profile clean out is over with.

Safe Zones

Throughout the entire manor, there are places called "safe zones" where the evil spirits cannot entire in and harass you. These places are like bathrooms, living rooms, some kitchens, some bedrooms. Also, during the day, the evil spirits do not come out, so your characters will have a rest from their attacks.

Note about Safe Zones: most of the zones change places after a day. There is no guarantee that one place you found safety in will not be safe the next night. Also, bathrooms zones rarely ever change. =w=;; Just for the sake of those who need to go to the bathroom~

Day & Night

Seeing as day and night play an important factor in this rp, I'll be keeping track of the time and will list which one it is under the Recap section so that people won't get confused if they had to poof away or something.

Pokemon/TYL & Age Different Same Characters

NO!!! No Pokemon!!! I am not going to keep track of them!!! Sure, you can play like Ash, that kid with the hat from Pokemon, but not those stupid creatures!!! = =;; You have no idea how hard it is to keep track of them. Also, I consider them as OC characters really. Also, I know in Hitman Reborn and stuff there is those TYL (Ten Year Later) characters, we are not doing that. We are only having one character of each series. Like, in Pandora Hearts, there is a time skip. We are not having older Gilbert Nightray and younger Gilbert Nightray on here, alright?

Chain Week

Have you ever woke up one morning and notice something was strange? Like... you were chained to someone whom you may possible love/hate and they're sleeping next to you? This is Chain Week. Chain Week chains two people together for a certain amount of time. (=w=;; This is probably a terrible thing to happen to somebody in a haunted house that is trying to eat you...)

OOC Week

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Feeling a bit... unlike yourself? OOC Week is an event when everyone is out of character. This is the only time I'll allow Itachi to hug unicorns and sing "I'm a pretty girl~" with out you getting shot at.

Love At First Sight

Okay this event could be really funny. Or really bad. It all depends on if people have couples or not. Hanyways, Love at First Sight is just like it sounds like; you're character falls in love with the first person they see. That could come out with some pretty funny outcomes~ As for couples that are together... this event will bring about major angst. I'm serious, I've seen it happen. NOT fun.

Truth or Dare

Just as it sounds like~~~ Throughout this entire event, characters will ask each other truth or dare and must answer questions or fulfill dares~ This is probably going to get crazy! XDDD

Age Swap

Just as it sounds. You may change the age of your character. They can be younger or older. What ever you choose~

Blackmail Weekend

This is a week were everyone can't help but spill out there most deepest, darkest secrets for others to take advantage and to use against your characters~ I can be either your character's secret or~ it can be someone else's secret your character knows~

The Haunted Masquerade Ball

During this entire week, characters do not have to worry about getting attacked. As it sounds like, this is a costume dance party with the spirits of the house.
