Description: Stary Oskol is a Winter Island located at the beginning of the Grand Line and for ships passing through the Grand Line, it is known to be on "Route 6". As a Winter Island, it is in a constant state of cold with snowfall year round. Due to this, the vegetation on the island is fairly limited to trees as no crops grow here. All food is imported.

Stary Oskol is has one forest that makes a ring around the island, interrupted only by the large amount of mountains present on the island and three towns, each town is situated the bottom of the largest mountain in each range. The town on the far west of the island is known as Crohya. The one in the east is called Vatsi, and the town in the center of the island and situated below the tallest mountain on the island is known as Shintensatsu. Each town is home to about 5,000 people. All of whom, while owing no loyalty to the World Government, are employed by them as this island is the richest in iron of any in the Grand Line. Over eight million tons of iron ore are mined here per year. Additional income is granted from the man that lives on the top of the highest mountain in the region who is a famous sword fighter and millionaire. Should anyone require it. The unemployment rate for the island is 0%. The villagers of this island welcome all travelers with open arms no matter their creed or affiliations provided they do not cause excessive amounts of trouble or damage to the towns, which have been rebuilt and provided for the entire island by The Last Emperor.

No official government exists on the island. Each town is run by a mayor, but should the towns require an executive decision, the Sword Saint on the top of the mountain has the final say on all matters. He is considered "The Favorite Son of Stary Oskol".

History: Not much exists about the history of this island. Stary Oskol is an important center of iron ore mining, situated at the border of The Calm Belt at a place labeled the "Kursk Magnetic Anomaly", which lies at the North end of the island, past the town of Shintensatsu.

Within the Kursk Anomaly there lies one mystery on the island, known as "SR7-76". It is an irritating, electronic noise that comes from the area, not unlike the sound of a truck horn played through a cheese grater. It is broadcast over a certain frequency of radio, constantly, for over 80 years . But the weird part isn't the tone, but what happens when it stops.

In its 80-something year run, the sound has been interrupted only three times, the earliest known time being the night Luffy was dethroned. Each time a voice comes on and lists several names and numbers before returning to the foghorn. The most recent occurrence was a mere three years before the time of this writing. It is clearly becoming more active after remaining quiet during the last era. Many has ventured to try and find what causes SR7-76 but none have ever returned. It has been reported that in the area, there is a constant snowstorm that rages continuously and a single house can be seen with binoculars from the temple of The Sword Saint on the clearest of nights. This house is simply referred to by the residents as "Home" and none dare venture out there anymore.

Based at the bottom of the tallest mountain on the island, Envergado. The Temple is the residence of the Sword Saint, Luhansk "The Last Emperor" Oblast. Corpses of the defeated line the path up the mountain and the door remained closed unless opened from the outside. Inside is a massive chamber full of ornate and beautiful sculptures and architecture which is repaired after each battle Luhansk has by the citizens at the base of the mountain.

The supposed area of origin of SR7-76. A small, single cabin house always kept lit, caught in a perpetual snowstorm at the north point of the island near the Calm Belt. A radio signal is constantly broadcast from this area but despite attempts to reach it, no explorer has ever returned from the quest. No human movement has ever been noted to come from the house.

But on the three occasions the radio broadcast has been interrupted the light in the house, has been reported to have been extinguished and a terrifying face to be seen.

All the observers of the face on each occasion disappeared the next day.

Salbear Island (Blind Duchess's Route) - The island you have set foot on has an active volcano. For a while now, every day, at midnight, the volcano will erupt, but before it destroys the island, time rewinds, and the day starts over again from 6 AM. There is one village here known as the Salbear Village. It has Victorian structures, but very normal inhabitants.
The villagers know that it has been going on, and dread it every day. Anything that was used up the "day" before, is suddenly replenished, as if the volcano never blew up. The village has become gloomy, as everyone waits for something, anything to stop this infinite loop. Even the children are unable to find the energy to go out and play.
It is five minutes before it strikes midnight for the nth time. All you will see is a volcano erupting and about to burn you with its lava, when all of a sudden, the sun comes up.

Temperature - 75 Fahrenheit in the morning
Time - 5 minutes to midnight, and then it turns to 6 AM
(Hint - you will be going through the day three times, and on the third time, someone believes you have to destroy the volcano in order to stop the island from blowing up into lava. I will mention when a time skip happens so that you will go through the days faster.)

Kyper "Godspeed" Rochyenkov
Vice Admiral

"I, who am speed, eradicate."
Location: Unnamed island headed to Marine HQ
Party: N/A
Mood: Excited
White Drive: Inactive
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Grand Line had been an adjustment for the new Vice Admiral, but training under Admiral Kurouki as well as constantly training his new powers, Kyper found himself getting stronger daily. It hadn't been long since they had left Loguetown, a few weeks at best. But even in the short time Kyper found he was able to control his abilities slightly better. He still had a long way to go towards being a heavy hitting Vice Admiral and even longer to possibly become an Admiral.

One of Kyper's fastest developing abilities however wasn't related to his fighting. Rather, it played to one of his even better strengths: talking. As a Vice Admiral, he had found it was different from when he was a Lieutenant. Now he had a much more public image that he had to maintain in the eyes of civilians. He could no longer destroy half a city with a minimal reason as no one would know who he was. If he did anything insanely out of line at his current rank, he would be thrown under the bus by the very people he served.

But there was a trick to it as he had been taught by his mentor. Over the weeks he had been slowly molding the mind of all the Marines below him on the ship into perfect warriors of Absolute Justice. Some resisted, but instead of ruling over them with fear like Kyper would have previously, he used his words to turn his apostles against the minority to force them to convert on their own free will. It was working quiet well. Above all, he now had a young Ensign underneath him who was a firm believer in Absolute Justice himself. He only needed small tweaks here and there, but soon, Kyper wouldn't have to touch him at all.

The ship was on its way to Marine HQ, but along the route they had stopped for supplies on a small, out of the way island with one small town of people. They would've simply gathered their goods and left if it hadn't been for Kyper spotting a ship with a Jolly Roger sailing away from the island posthaste as soon as they drew near. This act, mixed with his new rank and power, had set Kyper down a path he himself couldn't have predicted himself to be on. But was he truly right? In his mind, yes. But as he gained more power, his choices grew darker.

"Gather all the villagers into the Town Hall" Kyper commanded a large group of junior Marines who ran without question and began to move everyone inside. As he did, he had another group gather supplies from all the shops. Although his attention was now diverted from their primary goal, he still would accomplish what they came here for.

Within minutes, the small population of 100 or so people was crammed into the little Town Hall. What was once a buzzing curiosity quieted down as the Vice Admiral walked in to greet them. Although calm and direct in his approach, there was a restlessness in the air. A heightened sense of things.

Clearing his throat, Kyper looked over the villagers as he spoke up. "This town has given aid to pirates and criminals. I wish to know their whereabouts. So, anyone who comes forward will be forgiven of treason."

Kyper stood their smiling slightly, waiting. But no one came forward. No one said a word. The silence was as thick as the aura of pressure radiating from the Vice Admiral.

Shaking his head at the ground, he turned to leave as he spoke, "Very well, you had your chance."

No sooner had he said that then a voice came from behind him, "Wait!"

Kyper turned and a a portly middle aged man run from the back of the room towards the Vice Admiral. Bowing slightly he spoke, "The men on the far side of town give pirates supplies from their shops! Just the two grocery stores on the far end of the island!"

There was yelling now. From the accused to the accuser, "Quiet! You damn fool!" But it was too late for that.

"The last group, they were headed to the next island ahead of us, near the same route you take to Marineford HQ!" He stood up straight now, looking to Kyper for validation.

Kyper smiled as he heard the answer. Patting the man on the back he whispered in his ear, "Thank you, good sir."

And without saying another word, he turned to leave the Town Hall and spoke to the Marines at the entrance. "Shut the doors and lock them in."

The portly man heard this as he yelled out, "But you said we'd be forgiven!"

Kyper turned around quickly and with a false tone of enthusiasm replied, "And you will! But that's between you and God."Turning again, he walked outside as the doors of the Town Hall were locked behind him. In front of him were several Marines standing with torches. All lit.

His personal Ensign stood in front of him and spoke up as Kyper came out, "Ready to fire the village on your order, Sir!"

Kyper laughed slightly to himself as he responded to the Ensign, "The village? Burn the Town Hall." Gesturing to the building behind him.

The Ensign went from confident to sickly looking instantly. His hands began to shake. "Sir...there's no honor in this."

Kyper walked passed him, ignoring the statement. Now was a time to put his new speech abilities to use. Looking out at all the young Marines in front of him he yelled out, "Gentlemen! What do pirates and their sympathizers deserve!?!?"

"TO DIE A TRAITORS DEATH, VICE ADMIRAL KYPER-SAMA!" they replied with a loud boom. As they did, Kyper turned to the Ensign, smiling at him.

"Burn. The. Town Hall. Ensign."

The Ensign hesitated, looking back and forth from the Town Hall to the torch in his hand. After having an internal conflict for several minutes, a single tear dropped from his left eye as he threw the torch on the hall. The wood must've been very dry and it caught fire quickly and spread fast. The doors and windows had been bolted shut by the lower Marines. Screaming could be heard inside and the rest of the village was torched and the Marines made their way back to the ship. They would intercept the little pirate crew on their way to the base. And even if they didn't at least they got rid of a rotten little stain along the way. Pity though, it probably wouldn't even make the newspapers.

Rex stared at the clock on the wall as it drew closer and closer to midnight. Rex had a look of a fatigue on his face as he waited for the clocks hands to slowly shift towards the twelve. Rex's crew had just docked onto the first island they've seen in the Grand Line. Not like they had much choice otherwise, they had no navigator and Laboon had simply carried their ship to the island. Rex had been at the helm through most of the night and made the preparations to dock. He extended the ramp down to the dock, dropped the anchor and tied the boat down. He stretched his arms high into the air and released a slow and long yawn. Rex was unaware of his crewmates status, if they were awake he was sure they would join him in searching for a place to stay. "The architecture of this place seems quite fancy, perhaps we've found another village that will add on to our treasure collection." Rex said to himself as he descended the boarding ramp and onto the dock.

Rex's eyes widened as the sound of an explosion came from the volcano on the island. "An active volcano!? Why the hell are these villagers so close to it! More importantly, the treasure's going to be destroyed...and the ship!" Rex yelled out as he quickly backtracked up and onto the ship. He immediately began ringing the emergency bell on the ship to warn his crewmates of the impending doom. "Everyone panic!!! The damn volcano is active!" Rex yelled loud enough to warn his crew members. He quickly began wheeling the anchor, desperate for any hope of getting the ship out of the lava's path. He was slightly confused as to why the village seemed to ignore the raining lava that was on its way. Rex's panic distracted him from investigating further, it was every man for himself at this point. The anchor stopped raising at it caught on a heavy piece of debris under the water. Rex hissed with a curse word as he quickly ran to the front of the ship.

"I didn't come this far to have ship and life taken by a simple natural disaster! Rex yelled as he held his arms out and began emitting darkness from his body. He wasn't sure how his darkness would hold up against the lava, but he would be damned if he wasn't going to at least try to protect this ship and his nakama. Rex closed his eyes and braced for impact as he felt the heat of the lava approach him. After a few seconds of silence, Rex opened his eyes to a confusing sight. The night had turned to day and the threat of the lava had vanished. Rex blinked a few times, sporting a face of pure confusion. "Was it my imagination? Did the twins put hallucinogens in my food? What the hell is going on!" Rex said rubbing his head viciously as he tried to wrap his mind around reality. Rex tried to remember if his food tasted funny the night before, but it still didn't explain how the night had transformed into day. Perhaps the weeks they had spent sailing had messed with the captain's mind. He had at least hoped he wasn't the only one who saw the event.

Luhansk Oblast
"The Last Emperor"

Location: Stary Oskol Island
Mood: Focused
Thoughts: N/A

------------------------------------

Envergado was one of the most dangerous mountains to ascend in the Grand Line. Not because of conditions. It was rather simple to ascend in the regard. But because of what waited near the summit. Many a fighter had come to engage Luhansk. None had ever left alive.

The town at the bottom, Shintensatsu was abuzz with rumors. A strong swordsman from a pirate crew had come here on his own accord away from his crew and had ascended the mountain maybe 4 hours ago. He should be near the top by now. If not already talking with Luhansk. The man was a hero to the island, almost referred to as a living god. But despite his popularity, almost none had ever seen him, save the group that rebuilt his temple after each battle.

High up the mountain, the fight raged on. If it was quiet enough, one could hear the clash of blades from behind heavy stone doors thousands of feet up. The quietness that gave the villagers the ability to hear this was known around the island as Death Humming. So quiet they could hear the clash. So quiet they could hear the last moments of Luhansk's challengers lives.
--------

The man who ascended was thrown against a temple wall, gasping for air. This was not what he expected. But he had no time to think as he threw himself to the ground to avoid being struck. His vision was going blurry now. As he fell to the ground and collapsed in exhaustion he saw a curved blade strike into the wall where his head had been a moment ago. This didn't fit the rules. He was strong! He was supposed to win here! But this man...he was a monster in human form. This type of aggressiveness. It wasn't human.

Drawing his blade out of the wall, Luhansk turned to his exhausted opponent laying on the ground gasping for air. He didn't move as he spoke with a softness some reserve for talking to children. His northern accent was rough and harsh and his speech somewhat broken.

"Get up. You're not done yet. You knew wager. Now stand up. Die like warrior."

Luhansk wouldn't attack him while he was on the ground. He would give him a chance to stand. But if he stood, he didn't have a chance! He only had one option left.

"Go to hell...Emperor!" The man yelled as he drew a pistol from his waistband, pointing it at the Swordsmen.

He smiled as Luhansk's eyes went wide but the smile immediately turned into a scream of pain and surprise has he saw a quick flash of light cross his path as Luhansk was on top of him. He could no longer move his right arm. As he looked down he screamed even louder. His arm was no longer attached to his body. Looking up in fear, he saw Luhansk holding the arm up with the pistol still gripped in his hand.

The man screamed in pain and rolled around on the floor as Luhansk carried the arm silently and kicked open the 10 ton stone doors of his temple and threw the arm out into the snow to the side of his temple steps. He stepped outside after it and laughed. Turning to the man. This was one big game to him.

"Firearm was bad idea. Too slow at that range. Good try though! We almost done here though. I give you warriors death now." He spoke to the man rolling around in his own blood at the temple entrance.

The man gritted his teeth as he shot up and outside with the speed of demon, jumping at Luhansk, his sword in his remaining hand. "GO TO HELL YOU SON OF A b***h!" He yelled as he swung his blade downward and Luhansk's neck.

Luhansk stepped quickly to the side as the man sailed harmlessly past him. As if in slow motion he drew his blade up and down across the man's body instantly. Cutting his torso almost completely in half. The challenger was dead before he hit the ground.

Shaking his head he picked up the corpse with one arm and threw it from the mountaintop, as was his tradition. It would freeze into the mountainside at the base with all the other corpses. Sheathing his blade, he turned to go back inside. As he did, he saw a group of villages approaching. That was fast. They must've started to average the time of his fights and just gone off that to come repair his temple. He smiled and waved at them.

"Fix fast. I'll wait outside here. Please make statue at back nice. Bigger..." He held his hands up to his chest, cupping the air under his pectorals to emphasize that he wished for the female statues to have bigger busts. Before laughing loudly to himself and taking a seat on the steps of his own temple as the villagers began their stone work.

The wind blew and the snow raged, but he was used to the cold. It was now time to meditate on his fight and to reflect on the combat.

Crossing his legs and closing his eyes, he began to pray as with everything, with purpose.

{Condition:100%}

Casey was sitting on the figurehead of the ship, back leaning against the railing that separated her from the deck of the ship. It was a rather precarious position for a devils fruit user to be sitting in, but she liked it better up there when she had to think. They had been sailing two weeks. The food supplies they had managed to gather at loguetown had dwindled to near nothing due to their extra passengers, and she was no more trusting of either of them. Davik had been fitting in pretty well with those of the crew that spoke to him. Benji seemed fascinated by his abilities as well as his stories of his grandfather. Casey didn't mind him for the most part, he kept a respectful air about himself, despite having been a marine. Yuuki on the other hand seemed to always get on her nerves. He had a cocky air about himself that wouldn't dissipate, despite being on a ship that didn't belong to him. She had left him with Cinder, because she knew the cook wouldn't take any of his s**t. She just wanted him off her ship. He didn't respect her the way he should, and she hated disrespectful people.

She sighed, looking out over the waves. An island had come over the horizon around dawn, and they were making their way towards it at a good steady pace. The weather for most of the trip hadn't been too bad, but the storms were always unusual, and they had gotten turned around somehow a couple of times due to how unusual the ocean was. She was glad to see land. The weather had stabilized completely that morning, and it was bright sunlight and comfortably warm. She just hoped they could restock their supplies. Saul's stomach was starting to sound like an earthquake with how little he had been able to eat the past few days. She glanced over her shoulder at the ship, seeing Bee at the helm, as always. She could see Benji running around the deck, though she wasn't sure why. She turned again to face ahead of them and closed her eyes for a moment, just trying to get rid of the stress that had piled up over the voyage.

Location: Vice Admiral Kyper's ship, now at Marine HQ

Thoughts: He's learning quite well...though I wouldn't have burned the village for helping pirates. You need to set an example...

✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙✙
During the whole trip, Kurouki hadn't stepped foot off the ship once. When Kyper had approached her the first time in her office, she had smiled and welcomed him to his own ship. She could still remember it clearly.

"Though you destroyed half a city, why do you think you were given a ship, and a promotion?" She waved her hand to dismiss the Ensign, and shook her head. "No, not because of me. Because of your firm belief in Absolute Justice. But others do not understand us. So you will have to make them understand."

~~~~~~~~
When they finally had sailed away from the island, Kurouki called Kyper to her office. She was rather...disappointed with this little feat of his. Her bodyguards stood at the other side of the closed door, while she sat in her big leather chair, her feet propped up on the desk, reading a history book. Her eyes furrowed together when there came a knock at the door.
"Come in."
Amshel opened the door, and in stepped Kyper. She smiled at him, and Amshel closed the door as she got down from her chair, placing a bookmark in the book.
"Kyper. Kyper, Kyper, Kyper, Kyper, Kyper." She said, shaking her head after the first time she uttered his name. He stood to attention, and the air in the room grew more and more dense with every sentence she spoke.
"Tell me, Vice Admiral, what was the point in setting the people on fire? What was the objective? To let them burn in hell?" She started to pace back and forth in front of him slowly, not looking at him, but down at the carpet rug. She turned around at the end of the room to walk towards the other side, but this time, stopped in front of him, staring at him dead in the eye.
"That would have taught them no lesson. You are losing your sense of Absolute Justice. Killing innocents is not what we as Absolute Justice believers do. We set an example for them. You should have burned that man in front of their very eyes to warn them."
She turned away from him, allowing him to breathe slightly away from her gaze, but she turned around quickly, and he seemed to stiffen up even more.
"Now, I do not oppose to you burning all the villagers, but everyone else is already on edge with you killing bystanders as is." She floated up in the air, then lowered herself onto the desk so that she sat on the desk's edge. "And we wouldn't want you to lose your position so quickly now, would we?"
"And about that pirate ship that is ahead of us."
She picked up her book she had set down, opening it up to the page she had marked. "Tell the quartermaster to follow that pirate ship. Sink it. And then make our way back into the Calm Belt so that we can go home."
The atmosphere relaxed, making it easier for Kyper to breathe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Where is Vice Admiral Kyper and Admiral Kurouki??"
"They're late!"
"Where's Bloodwolf?"
"Where's Davik?!"
"Vice Admiral Kyper and Admiral Kurouki are taking a detour, Captain Davik is still missing, and I believe Bloodwolf is lost again, sir..."
A fist slammed against the chair arm. "These goddamn youngsters..."

Vice-Admiral

Alex stood on a balcony at Marine HQ. He hadn't really wanted to come to the meeting, but he had been summoned, and unfortunately at his rank he really couldn't afford to ignore it. He took a deep drag of his cigarette, looking out over the main courtyard of the headquarters, eyes gazing out to the sea. He had asked to be left alone for a few minutes, seeing as there were a few members still missing from this little pow wow the marines were having. He pushed his glasses up and rubbed his eyes, keeping them closed until he felt the weight of the frames hit his nose again. He blinked, pushing the frames closer to his face until they sat comfortably. He turned again leaned against the railing, looking back at the building. He was about midlevel, off of a main corridor. The meeting room was only a little farther down the hall so he wasn't too far and would know when the meeting would actually be called.

Unlike the rest of his crew Kiriguya wasn't one to just relax and hang out on the top deck of their ship, he preferred to relax in his room as it was a key way to get away from all the craziness that comes along with living on a pirate ship. This didn't mean that he hated his crew members or anything, its just they were obnoxious at times. Kiriguya was sound asleep in his quarters untill a bright ray of light came shining through the small port window he had in his quarters. He proceeded to roll around in his bed for a few moments trying to cover his eyes from the bright sun, but with no success he decided that it possibly time to get up and go see what everyone was up to since it had been crazy ever since they headed to reverse mountain because of the two stowaways they had found on their ship and one of them was making living on this very difficult. Kiriguya threw the blankets to the right side of him and then proceeded to stand up in his room began to get ready for the day. After a little bit of time he was ready to go up to the top deck, he walked out the door and closed it behind him and proceeded to walk to the top deck. As he reached the top of the stairs the giant sun was to the point of blinding for the first moments. Kiriguya held his hand up in the sky to block the brightness, but he releaved a small smile when he was able to see the sun. This was because for the past couple of weeks the weather has been living hell for their crew due to the Grand Line can have random weather effects and they were on the unlucky side of things for the most part. Once his eyes adjusted to how bright it was up on top of the deck he lowered his hand to his side and looked around him at the crew and looked to see what everyone was up to.

As he looked behind him he saw Bee standing behind the helm which was no surprise to him due to her being the navigator of the ship. As he continued to look around the top deck of the ship he saw a couple of people running about and this made him let out a soft sigh as he didn't understand why some of the crew mates could just relax for a few moments of the day. He turned to look at the front of the ship and he noticed that Casey was sitting on the figure head of the ship. Kiriguya walked slowly across the ship until he reached the front of the ship and was now standing next to the railing that was behind the figure head. Just as he was about to say something to Casey he noticed that there was land off on the horizon in front of them. The joy within kiriguya was about to burst out of his skin because it had been at least two or three weeks since they had been at loguetown and he wanted to get on land as soon as possible, also because they were running short on food supplies due to the two stowaways they found on their ship. After seeing the land on the horizon he looked at Casey and said to her "Feels good to relax for once doesn't it?" he let off small laugh as she had been on tilt ever since we found the two people on her ship and that was just added stress for her. A few moments later he said to her "So what are your plans with the two stowaways that we found?, I mean the one with the slick backed hair seems to get along decently with the crew, but the yellow haired pipsqueak is just a ball of ferocity and tension". As he awaited Casey's response he turned back towards the ship and hopped on the railing to sit on and proceeded to look at his crew mates that were messing around on the top deck of the ship.

Skyler hadn't really been able to sleep, and was up in the crowsnest while Dutch was at the helm. He had dozed on and off for most of the day, but hadn't really been able to sleep. The whale that had carried them for a long time was gone, which was frankly sad for Sky. He had found the whole thing exciting. A giant whale carrying them who knows where. He had found an old rusted hatch on the back of it the one day he had chanced exploring, but before he managed to get it open he had been called back to the ship by a very angry Ariel. He was really annoyed at that, but that faded when she had given him a really shiny charm. He had added it to one of his necklaces, and at the moment he was fiddling with it in the dark, eyes watching the stars for the highest point on the ship. He had felt the ship slow to a stop against the docks, and Dutch talking to himself about the island. The young quartermaster made to get up, wanting to see for himself.

The sound of an explosion made him jump, and he got up, looking towards the island to see the bright fire in the air, large globs of melted rocks headed for the island's main village. The captain was on deck, ringing the bell to wake everyone up, before rushing over to the anchor. Sky climbed onto the railing of the crows nest and jumped, catching himself in the rigging before dropping down onto the deck near Dutch. The captain had started expanding darkness around the ship, Skyler ducked his head as well, a little more than just frightened. As the lava was about to hit them and wipe them all out, it suddenly disappeared, replaced by the bright light of dawn. Skyler squinted, before turning to look at his captain. "I don't think it was the food..." He said quietly, looking out at the island again. It looked peaceful, pristine. Like the world hadn't almost been about to end. He frowned, rubbing his eyes trying to get rid of the sleepiness in them. "Maybe we should make sure the others are okay..." He mumbled, still confused.

Kyper "Godspeed" Rochyenkov
Vice Admiral

"I, who am speed, eradicate."
Location: Headed to Marine HQ
Party: N/A
Mood: Excited
White Drive: Inactive
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kyper exited the Admirals quarters with haste. He didn't know why it was such a big deal. He wasn't killing innocent civilians. He was eliminating the concept of evil even existing. Anyone that was willing to help pirates might as well just become one. Well, whatever. It was done now.

Heading over to the helm, Kyper directed the helmsman in the direction of the the small pirate ship, or at least its last known direction. The helmsman complied as Kyper walked up to the front of the ship, looking out across the sea for any sight of it.

It didn't take long. The Vice Admirals ship was as powerful as it was huge. Kyper could make out the ship long before the Marine in the crow's nest could be heard to yell out, "Pirate ship spotted on the starboard bow, Sir!"

Kyper was rilled up now. He didn't have time for this bullshit. They had a meeting to get to. Floating up above the ship he flew out off the bow towards the ship, noting he was enough from his own ship to accelerate, he accelerated even faster, shooting directly at the small pirate ship. It didn't take them long, even at the speed he was flying at them for the ship to notice him and began to shoot at him. The Vice Admiral's perception of speed and time was different from others though. Being able to move as fast he could, everything always seemed to be in constant slow motion for him. Moving lazily to the left and right of the ship, he dodged the cannonballs being shot at him and quickly landed on the deck of the ship. As he did the pirates had no time to react as Kyper touched down. Fuwa Fuwa no Mi: Pressure. Instantly, the pirates on board were dropped onto the floor of the ship as Kyper walked around it unaffected. Moving towards the back of the small ship he saw a man wearing a large black hat being crushed near the helm.

"Are you the Captain here?" Kyper asked the man with a disinterested and monotone voice as the man nodded in reply. Unable to do anything else due to Kyper's pressure. What a weak pirate crew, how had they made it into the Grand Line at all?

"I'm going to assume here that you didn't....stop at Loguetown. There's no way trash like you could've survived an encounter with me even there. But you don't have to worry about traveling anymore. You are all under arrest."

"Then kill us here!" One of the pirates yelled from the deck below him. The Vice Admiral looked the man who spoke to him and replied, "So I take it then, that none of you will be surrendering?"

But Kyper was surprised when the young pirate stood up. How was he standing underneath this pressure? Not even the Captain of the ship was able to move right now. He watched at the man walked forward slowly. His legs buckling under the sheer force Kyper was exerting. He let the man walk right up to him as he spoke, "Pirates never surrender! Because we are the definition of freedom!"

Without warning, the man raised his left hand and threw a punch at Kyper's jaw. It might've hit if he wasn't moving to slow and Kyper used to this kind of thing. As the punch came at him, the Vice Admiral raised his left hand and pushed the punch aside like a side of broccoli he didn't order at a restaurant. As the punch sailed past him he pivoted 180º on his left leg and threw a hooked kick into the pirates neck. The combination of the powerful kick with the pressure smashed the pirate through the deck and sent him into the cargo bay below. As Kyper looked down at his opponent, he noticed he was not moving. The increased atmosphere must've caused his neck to break.

"Definition of freedom...a puppet that can no longer be used is mere garbage...and this puppets role has just ended." He thought to himself as he walked back to the center of the deck. Smiling at the crushed pirates beneath him he spoke out, "Gentlemen, under the doctrine of Absolute Justice I have given you a request to surrender, which you have ignored. According to standard rules of engagement, I must now eradicate your existence and I am truly truly sorry about these unfortunate circumstances. But it is just protocol." He sneer looking over at their Captain, who was now shedding tears for his fallen shipmate, unable to do anything. "I'm sure you understand, Captain?"

Walking to the edge of the ship, Kyper hopped off the railing and floated down to the sea directly below him. He gently tapped one finger into the sea before quickly drawing it out and shivered. This was arguably his favorite weapon to use, but definitely one that could kill him if too much of his body was lowered into the water. But one finger tap, he could still maintain his devil fruit abilities.

Looking up into the sky, Kyper shot into the sky and disabled his pressure. He no longer needed it. Looking down at the ship from the sky above he saw the pirates begin to move to battle stations, ready to start firing, assuming he had made a mistake. But there was none. Clasping his hands together, the water below the ship began to form a vortex, spinning the pirate ship within a miniature whirlpool the formed and began to raise out of the sea.

"I will show you what the Grand Line holds, fools. Fuwa Fuwa no Mi: Skyscraper"

As he spoke to himself, a pillar of water shot from the vortex, blowing the pirate ship into the sky, ripping it to shreds as the pillar engulfed the crewing, launching them into the Calm Belt and obliterating the ship to dust. The Sea Kings could deal with the corpses.

Turning around, Kyper flew back to the ship, his work complete. As he landed back on the boat he was meet with clapping and cheering from the Marines. His showmanship was definitely a strong point.

"Gentlemen set a course for the Calm Belt and Marine HQ. We have a meeting to attend."

Things had gone alright during the two week voyage aboard the Thunder pirates’ ship, Davik had gotten along pretty well with many of them. Some however, he made sure to steer clear of just so nothing happened that might upset Casey. Davik had nothing against the cook known as Cinder, but it seemed he had a grudge against him no matter what he said to try and ease the tension between them. However, the other stowaway Yuuki was another story all together, he had an attitude and Davik gave it right back. Davik didn’t make any aggressive moves however, he wasn’t looking to get into a fight with a man who was almost blinded with rage like that transfer Kyper back in Loguetown. Right now Davik stood against the main mast his hands in his pockets as he looked towards the island that was slowly getting closer. Despite his excitement, he was a little nervous about going to this island, he had no idea what to expect here but had heard the tales that some of the islands were really horrible. He was far from scared, just worried about what he might encounter here on, especially being a marine in a place known to have many pirates.

He shook away the thoughts as he watched the first mate walk passed to go and speak with the captain in private. His major concern right now was seeing what was going to happen once getting to the island, there was a chance he would be dumped here with that punk pirate Yuuki and that was something he didn’t want. Sure he could handle it, but being left when there was a perfectly good ship that could take him places was a fate worse than death to him. He continued to lean against the mast in silence, he would just wait until they reached the island and he was needed by the captain.

Where: Stary Oskol Island
With: Still on the ship, about to land

Beni snuggled up on her jacket, watching her breath turn into vapor in the cold wind, and looked over towards the island. It was nonstop snowing at a slow pace, and the crew were slow at gathering onto the deck. She watched from the crow's nest as Reiner tried to get everyone onto the deck. It was too cold for several of them.

She had recovered with two weeks' time, and was her usual self again. The flashback wasn't as often as before, and the nightmares had stopped. She had Issa, Reiner, and Krystal to thank for that.

"Reiner! Issa! Krystal! Let's get going!" She called out to them, as she was excited to leave the ship for a while and venture out to see this new island they had docked at.

"Capt, we can't get any closer to shore-dazun. I've already dragged it up so that the ship won't sail out on it's own. You'll have to come down and wad a little-dazun."
Saul called from the shore. The waves pushed up onto the beach and rolled back, unable to pull the ship out to sea with how far Saul had dragged it. The half-giant smiled up at his crew. "Gahaha gahahahaha! There looks to be plenty of room to run around and gather supplies, so we can take this island at our leisure. This is a good stop for a first island!" He said, looking around at the island. It seemed to be uninhabited by anything, just stretches of tropical forestry and its animals as far as the eye could see. What they didn't know, was the ship that was docked on the other side of the island...

Aileous had been fast asleep on her bed when a loud explosion woke her up. She climbed out of bed, worried about the rest of the ship, and felt her way onto the deck. Upon opening the door, she felt the warmth of the sun's rays envelope her.

"Sun...? Wasn't it still nighttime? Does time work differently here?"

She wasn't sure if anyone was on deck or not, and so felt her way towards where Rex was.

"Who's handling the ship? Skyler?"

Casey was pulled out of her reprieve by the voice of her first mate. She smiled to herself lightly at his first question. He was a steady part of her life, a solid rock of calm in the wave of insanity that was her crew. She was always surprised with how long he had stuck around. He didn't really clash with the crew, but they definitely didn't fit the calm lifestyle she could see him having. "I would love to just toss both of them off and let them fight amongst themselves, but I think Benji might not like me if I leave the marine behind. He's been one of her few sources of entertainment over the past two weeks.... The brat though.. I don't plan on having him on here any more. He'll have to find his own way from here, or I'll let Cinder take a shot at him." She didn't sound too thrilled with Yuuki, and for good reason. As they were talking the ship had bumped against the shore line, and Saul had beached it enough that it wasn't going to go floating off without them. She waved at the giant as he yelled up to them. "I hate wading... the salt water always makes me static-y afterwards.." She pouted slightly, her voice low enough only Kiriguya could hear her. "Alright Saul, lets get everyone on deck and we'll decide where to go from there!" She called down to her musician before standing on the figure head. She stepped from it onto the railing next to Kiri and then hopped down onto the deck. She took a few steps towards the middle of the ship, eyes glancing over Davik just once. "Thunder Pirates! All hands on deck!" She called loud enough to be heard in the hold.
