Minkie wondered around Konoha, seeing no other new ninja's but just herself. " Am I the only one here? Oh.,..This is gonna be harder than I thought." She said. Sighing, she saw a bench, she sat down and sighed again. " Gee, coming to a new village is hard." She said.

Minkie heard foot steps getting closer. She got up from the bench and secretly, and quitely ran near the gate. She looked through one bar and saw a very tall boy. And cute. She then whispered to herself " Wow, what a cutie. I mean....STranger." She said nervously. She then walked infront of the gate and waited till he got close enough. When he did she greeted herself. " Hmph, Hello there, Are you a new Ninja too?" She asked him. Crossing her arms.
Name:
Kujo() & Karina() Kagarine (“Ka-ga-rii-nay”)

Age:
22

Village:
The official name is “Gekokujou (Revolution) Village” but since it’s one of the original ninja-founded villages, people call it “The Old Village”.

Main Jutsu:
Music & [limited] Wind

Weakness:
Electricity

Crush:
N/A

Story:
They were the only twins to be born in their village. Because of old legends, the village saw twins as good omens—a sign from the gods (yin & yang) that their family is in good light. Their family was famous for their skill in sword fighting and creating, so growing up the twins always took severe lessons. They took tea ceremony lessons, sword-fighting lessons, judo lessons, chakra summoning lessons…basically everything an heir needed to know. By the time they turned fifteen they successfully proved to uphold their family name. Their father was the only old Kagarine family member to remain (their grandparents and mother passed away during an undefined ambush years ago) and retired early, handing over the title to his heirs. For the first time, there were two family leaders. They commanded the other ninja in the village, had meetings with other high-class ninja families and even village leaders. They were the youngest heirs to take over. They ruled for a long time before Karina grew sick. Kujo, desperate, hired all of the best medical ninja to treat her but all of them were stumped. Then a medical nin from the Hidden Leaf Village approached them and was able to diagnose and heal her. Grateful, the Kagarine family swore their allegiance to her and her village. Now, their village is in need of ninja. Instead of sending their ninja to help, the siblings decided to take a temporary leave from their estate to serve the village that saved Karina's life.

the Kagarine twins
▅▅▅▅ ▅▅ ▅▅▅▅

It had been a five-day journey from the Old Village to Konoha. Honestly, Kujo could have gone without the boisterous good-bye before they left (it felt like a ridiculous parade—the twins didn’t plan on staying too long, so they left the Kagarine estate in the hands of their most trusted highest-ranked ninja…and yet everybody acted like they were going on a “finding yourself” journey or something). Still, it made Karina happy to see the villagers so eager to see them off. She always had a soft spot for the civilians in their village, though she was also kind to the ninja under their command. Kujo was better with them, though, since he was a fairly callous guy.

This became more apparent as days went on. He grew frustrated with Karina’s habit of kicking in her sleep and shouting battle cries, so he’d always drag his sleeping bag far from hers so that when she woke up she’d think he left for a moment. He also voiced his aggravation whenever they thought they might be lost only to find out Karina had pulled a cliché and read the map upside down. Usually the twins got along (minus the small bicker here and there) and acted as one—mostly in battle—but lack of sleep and break made them a bit more irritable than usual.

So on day five when they finally got past the gates and stepped foot into the Hidden Leaf Village for the first time, Karina literally collapsed into her brothers arm with a dramatic sigh of relief. Once Kujo ruffled her hair and let her melt for a few moments he pushed her off and adjusted his kimono. As the Kagarine leaders, they only had one outfit—their uniform. Orange kimonos (cut short higher than their knees so they can kick and run and be flexible) with the family symbol on the back in dark orange, along with bandages wrapped around their chests as a symbol of losing their hearts in order to properly rule the family name. It was a complicated traditional thing, but they were dedicated to it.

But with Karina falling all over him, his sleeve slid down his shoulder and then Karina would make a corny joke about him being a geisha and then he would hit her. It was childish cycle that lasted up until they walked around the village twice and realized they had no idea where to go. This village was much large than theirs and it was set up differently; they had no idea where to find the village leader. Back home, they had a large estate that took up a little less than half the village so it was easy to locate them. But here, there were huge buildings everywhere. How were they supposed to know what was what?

Brother, stop being stubborn and ask somebody,” Karina suggested as they stopped to get a glass of sake (they loved their alcohol). Karina sipped her glass and kicked her feet, her toes curled against her dirty sandals as she leaned her shoulder against Kujo’s.

Kujo gave her a look and glowered at his glass, as if thinking over her rational suggestion. “I don’t need directions. I’ve cut open the belly of a demon and slain armies of assassin ninja. I don’t need to ask a civilian for mere directions, Rina.

Karina pursed her lips, obviously frustrated at her brother’s stubbornness. He had more pride and arrogance than she did. She was a lot more laid-back than him and didn’t take titles so seriously.

Anyway, I got us an apartment room already. I paid and everything. As long as Kurose-san sends us money from the estate bank we should be fine until we go back. Hopefully a year or two will suffice…I really owe this place a lot, y’know?” Karina babbled as she sipped her sake and hummed beneath her words, seeming to become more and more relaxed the longer they were there.

Your life,” Kujo agreed gently as he ran his fingers through his messy golden hair. He finally took his first sip and seemed to also relax, easing back into his seat. The clamor of other customers—some drunk most sober—seemed to help matters. “I don’t see why we should see the village leader at this point. Why don’t we settle into our room and figure things out tomorrow? Besides, it’s already afternoon.

Sounds good to me. I wanted to explore, anyway,” Karina agreed with a big smile. “God. This sake is so good…

After five days of nothing but water, it would be,” Kujo muttered. He snorted when Karina laughed.

After another half hour they finished chatting and drinking and set back to the road. Now, instead of on a mission to find the village leader, they were on a mission to find their temporary home. It would be smaller than they’re used to, but Karina didn’t mind—in fact she was quite excited. Kujo, on the other hand, didn’t look as optimistic. He even frowned like a sulking kid as Karina looped her arm through his and led him down the clamorous streets towards the complex, and their new home.
