Introduction

It's the next generation here at hogwarts. So, it's nineteen years after Harry Potter, Ronald "Ron" Weasley, and Hermione Granger graduated. As most of you know in the fourth book a triwizard tournament is held. And sadly Cedric Diggory got killed in that tournament. Let's all have a moment of silence for him, even if her was a fictional character........okay moment's up. Anyway it's the next generation and a new triwizard tournament. The talented students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons academy of magic, and the brave boys of Drumstang institute, will all be competing again this year. And of course hogwarts has offered to shelter the other schools. Will someone die? Which school shall dominate? What secrets will the students share? And many more. My dear that is at the power of your fingertips, which are at your keyboard. As in it' your decision so, let's continue.

Storyline

Well it's basically what the introduction (Which took me a loooooong time to type up thank you very much! : ) ) said. It's the next generation, triwizard tournament yada yada blah blah. But Voldemort (Squee I missed you Voldy!!!!) has returned and wants to haunt the tournament. So he wants to take over the wizarding world. Typical Voldemort. So he decided to start at the heart (and lungs) of it all: Hogwarts. And he has quite an advantage since the other two magic schools are there.

Rules

I'm not mean. And I don't want to be. Then again who WANTS to be mean? No one, (Except Cruella Devil and Voldemort) wants to. So don't make me be. Just a heads up: It ain't pretty if I do get mad. So don't get me mad. So, obey these and we shan't have any problems. We will abll have fun role playing. And nobody will complain because dancerdog7 is a meanie weanie gumdrop! biggrin

1. Abosoulutely no god modding. I am dancerdog7, AKA, the CREATOR of this wonderful (C'mon you have to admit it, it's pretty darn awesome! biggrin ) thread. So, you can call me Goddess of the universe. (I'm kidding you don't have to call me that!) But I'm serious I hate it when people god - mod. So don't do it!

2. NO CYBERING!!!!!!!! IT'S DISGUSTING I HATE IT!!! IT ISN'T ALLOWED ON GAIA FOR A REASON!!! SO IF YOU LIKE TO CYBER I'M SORRY BUT THIS AIN'T THE RIGHT THREAD FOR YOU!!!!!! DON'T EVEN GET TO THE POINT WHERE PEOPLE CYBER!!!! JUST KEEP IT AWAY FROM THAT!!!! IF YOU CYBER YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE KICKED OFF THIS ROLE PLA WITH NO IFS BUTS OR ANYTHING !!!! NO CYBERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Keep it PG13. Becuase thats the limit here on gaia. And plus there may be some kids in this role play. Which is perfectly A-okay. So we must keep it appropriate. So stick with PG13. If you're unsure if something is PG13 or not just send me a PM and ask, you're not going to get in trouble. It's fine to be uncertain. (Okay...I'll stop now before I sound like a kindergarten teacher, but it's true mates!)

4. Originality is FUN!!! What I mean by that is, be creative. Sure it's fun to get ideas for your RPC from other peoples RPCs that are in the thread. It's fine and perfectly normal. Everyone does it (Even if they refuse to admit it they do, trust me!) What I'm saying is be original, don't copy other people on the Role play, I want a variety. It would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (I'll stop with the O's now mates for I believe you get the idea my dear friends) boring if every single darn character had the same back story. So be original please!!!!!!

5. In a perfect wonderful world, where they gave you cookies ever day, and everyone had a million microwaves that gave them a hundred million dallars every millisecond, everyone would be able to post everyday, and this would be a perfect role play. Unfortunately this world is not perfect (C'mon people global warming, wars, get with the program! biggrin ) And sadly the microwaves that give you money haven't been invented (But I WANT one darn now I'll have to invent it!), and last time I checked (Not that I check regularly or anything) nobody is randomly handing me cookies. Darn. But since this is the world we live in it would be nice if people posted once or twice a week. However I would love, adore, be sooooo happy (You get the idea) if you posted more than that. So don't be shy.


6. Use your common sense and normal role play etiquette here. For this ladies, and gentlemen, is a ROLE PLAY!! (That the gorgeous, wonderful, caring,nice, awesome,kind, and so much more, dancerdog7 owns!!!!!!!) So you know, common sense. And don't say you don't got no common sense, because you do, it's just harder to find it in some people than others. biggrin

7. Swearing, Cussing, saying naughty words, those bleeps in the sentence, fowl language, whatever you want to call it, is allowed here. HOWEVER DO NOT GO OVERBOARD AND CUSS EVERY OTHER WORD!!! Becuse that is REALLY ANNOYING!!! ANd a reminders: Little first years (And other children around that age range) are NOT going to cuss common sense here folks (If you want to hear my annoying little speech on common sense see rule six!!!). ow if an older student cusses that different. And typically some children will say something like "Oooo [Insert name here] said a naughty word!!!!" Trust me they do. I hear it a lot. Not that I'm a potty mouth or anything for I never cuss. Although I don't give a care if you do in real life or not for that is beside the point. I'm doing ROLE PLAY rules not life rules. For that my dear firnd would be control freaky, weird, creepy, and mean. So in this role play you may cuss just not every other word.



8. Get your highlighter out guys 'N' galz for you're going to wanna highlight some stuff here. This is so I know you read the rules. When you send me a PM please title them:

If you are a hogwarts student: Hogwarts shall win this tournament!
If you are a drumstang student: Drumstang shall dominate!
If a beauxbatons academy student: Beauxbatons academy shall win against all odds!
If you are a hogwarts teacher: Hogwarts, it stands a mighty fine chance of winning, and it SHALL!
If you are a drumstang teacher: Drumstang is where I teach and I have my complete faith in it winning this tournament
If you have chosen to be a beauxbatons teacher: Females are just as good as males -only a million times better so we shall WIN this tournament




And if you are sending in multiple profiles for multiple people from different places just put the ones you need in there if it won't fit then just put a: mrgreen in there so I know you read the rules!

11. Nobody is perfect. (Not even me, and that's saying a lot, just kidding, I'm not perfect but I'm not that self absorbed, now am I!) so your characters can't be!!!! I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE MAKE THEIR CHARACTERS PERFECT IT'S SOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!! IT'S MY PET PEAVE AND WHENEVER SOMEONE DOES IT I'M SOOOO ANNOYED AND MAD AND YOU DO NOT WANT DANCERDOG7 MAD NOW DO YOU?????!!!! So NO perfect characters! This rule is not printed in midnightblue or darkgreen for a reason, to get your attention. SO NO PERFECT CHARACTERS!

12. I have every right to add change, edit, or whatever stuff to do with the rules as I please!!! biggrin

14. When posting please write at least two paragraphs. (Which in my opinion is five to seven sentences) I understand writers block. We all get it. And we all totally hate it. So even if you get writers block try to at least get a paragraph in. If not I can understand. Everyone gets writers block but nobody can have it all the time mates!

15. No being mean to peoplel out of character. It' not nice. And I am nice and in this rp you get a couple warnings if you break a rule (With the exception of rule number two because that ain't allowed on gaia on in this role play). If you are mean to someone you must apologize. In character you may be mean to people's characters bring on the drama. It's just a role play people. The people on here do not have to be your best friend. Just be nice to everyone. Rule sixteen kinda follows up with this....

15. NO N00B jokes! I don't care if a n00b is in this rp! They have every right to be! So don't be mean to them if they are. Remember you were a n00b once too, now picture yourself would you be happy if someone insulted you just for being new? No. SO no n00b jokes. N00bs are people too. Okay I know I sounded really cheesy but it's true. No n00b jokes.

16. Follow the rules. Duh. Dude, this is a no brainer.

17. No killing other RPCs without their permission. And my consent beforehand too. If they agree and their chaacter is a champion or a quidditch player or whatever. They can make a new RPC to fill that spot. It's not up for grabs.


17. Don't point it out if someone has a typo or a misspelling. I have them, you have the, we all have them. Get over it!
