Welcome:
Hey there! I'm s e r e n d i i p i t y, but you can call me Sere or Bel.
As you can see, I'm looking for a roleplay---specifically longterm 1x1s.
For those interested, you can find a collection of my samples here.

Now, this account is a mule(most of my samples are from my primary) and one I have dedicated for 1x1 rps (so I likely will not be looking at groups unfortunately unless they're super small).
I prefer to roleplay on-site at this time, with a strong preference for threads. Imay be convinced to do discord. though.
I use discord primarily for active ooc.

About:
I am 25-years old, work at home/full-time parent to an active, young toddler. I also sometimes travel out of town to check up on my dad.
I live in the EST // Eastern US time zone.
I read webcomics and play otome games in my spare time. I like sweets, kpop, and kdrama. I'm just total trash tbh.
While I do have a good bit of free time, I am mostly on mobile until the evening hours or some short spurts during the day so some form of ooc is encouraged! (i.e. discord)
Right now, my schedule is busier on the weekends, usually Sat & Sun, but sometimes Fri as well. I'm floating around more during the week though.

Rules:
o1. Please be at least 18 years old.
o2. I am looking for a lazy literate to literate+ roleplay. This just means I'm looking for someone who can use mostly proper grammar/spelling with enough content to work with but be willing to rp at a casual pace.
o3. I am not always available to post, but I hope to post fairly regularly at minimum of once a week or quicker (unless something comes up, but I will do my best to let you know).
Hopefully you will be willing to do the same.
o4. Please follow Gaia's TOS while we're on Gaia. If it comes down to it, we fade for any steamy bits or tone it down for anything particularly violent. (Please let me know if there are any themes you're not okay with!) Fair warning: my posts tend to have some degree of language depending on the character. If this bothers you, please let me know ahead of time.
o5. Please PM me if you're interested and title the PM with Soda Pop so I know you've looked over the rules.
o6. Ditch friendly, but if you lose interest in the rp, don't be afraid to let me know. I get it, and I will do the same for you if that is the case for me. We can always start a new one too. If things go radio silent for a month with no contact ooc-wise, I will assume the roleplay is dead. Sometimes I may go silent for a while, but do not be afraid to poke me. Sometimes I just genuinely forget. At the very least, I try to keep up via ooc!
o7. This should be a given, but no godmodding or perfect characters.
o8. I prefer anime/illustrated (and possibly realistic illustration) pictures for character face claims, and simple or complex layouts for threads. Descriptions are fine too. I MIGHT agree to RL faces for KRPs. No promises though.
o9. As far as posting lengths go, please post at least 2 paragraphs a post (300+ words? idk). I typically write about 500-1000 words on average though I can mirror length as well (this may shift down to 300+ words if we use discord).
1o. Feel free to make suggestions on themes/pairings/etc. I cannot guarantee I'll be down for them, but I love suggestions too (the same is true for plot suggestions)! c:

Plots:

Angel x Demon

• Angels and Demons have been opposing sides for as long as they can remember. A number of disagreements and wars have been had between the two sides. In a last ditch effort to make peace, both sides agreed to achieve a lasting peace by union between both sides. However, not just any union would do. A high-level Angel and Demon would need to be joined together in order to create a lasting impression on both sides. While both sides agreed, those chosen only agreed in their disapproval for the union. Instead, the two are forced to live on the human plane in shared house in an attempt to get along until their wedding day. Meanwhile, neither involved don't realize there are other plans being made on both sides as they try (or purposely avoid) to get along with the other.


Demon x Human

• There once was a powerful and terrible demon who went on a rampage on one small town. They were taken down by the town's high priest. While weakened, they were magically chained up and locked away in the basement of the old church left to rot and be forgotten about. Many years later, it is now modern times and one lone human ends up in this old church by chance. Somehow, they find their way down into the basement where they find what seems to be a decrepit-looking replica of the demon chained to the wall. Unbeknownst to them, it is the demon...still living and breathing, but weak. The human makes a mistake and draws to close, close enough for the demon to grab a taste of their flesh. It is enough that they are able to regain their strength, but they cannot break free of their bonds due to a curse. The only way they can break the curse? They have to form a blood pact with a human. In exchange, the human acquires an ability of their own while the pact is in effect....but there's one little side effect the demon will have to face: they will have to answer to the human they form a pact with.


God/Deity x Human (Sacrifice)

• For hundreds of years, humans made sacrifices to the gods in hopes to achieve an improved quality of life. As time progressed, traditions faded or were halted altogether due to the inhumanity it was to have someone killed for the sake of a possible improvement on their lives. There is one small town that still clings heavily to the old beliefs, and when one individual comes passing through their small town before the time of the next sacrifice, the townsfolk decide to offer them up to their deity and spare their own. The poor individual doesn't know what to expect. They are treated like royalty while they're in town. However, on the night before they were to leave town, they are taken away by the townsfolk. Bound and gagged, they are dragged away to the sacrificial site. Just as they were about to be sacrificed, something phenomenal happened that had never happened before. They disappeared - stolen away by the very god they were going to sacrifice the unwitting human to.


(Super)Hero x (Super)Villain

• A & B have been friends since middle school. One could even say the two were inseparable. While still university students, there was an incident that involved the demolition of their University. As it turned out, there was a secret researcher team looking into harnessing the use of magic. An organization caught wind of their work, and slipped in to steal the sample and their data as a means of manufacturing their own magic. Both A & B were at the university when evacuation alarms went off. The two got separated and A finds themself fighting to get out of a collapsing building. A ends up getting knocked down by debris and passes out, but not before seeing a form slip past her whispering what sounded like an apology. When A awakens, they're in the hospital but something is drastically off. It turns out, the magic sample was lost in the process and the few who survived the attack on the University had acquired a new, magical skill-set. Recruited a secret government group, A spends the next couple years training as an agent looking to get back at the organization who sought to make their own artificial magic. It turns out they were successful, to a degree. B was one of the better test subjects with a more stable magic than their peers before them, but there are still some inconsistencies. After a couple of years, the two meet again...but they're on opposing sides.


Supernatural Creature x Supernatural Creature

• Every ten years, a ball is held for supernatural creatures living within a particular area. It is an occasion where one can make new connections, sell information, and occasionally create alliances and pacts with other supernaturals and families. There is live entertainment, fresh food (even a few humans for those with specific diets), and a dance. Those who attend are typically of higher class, while lower classes act as the waitstaff if they even are allowed within the exclusive confines of such a high class event. Character A was dragged out to this particular ball by their family for one sole reason: to establish a pact with one of the other power families attending in hopes to boost their influence. The best way to do this? Why, agreeing to a marriage arrangement of course! A comes across Character B -- a lowly supernatural who may have snuck into the event to see what it was about or perhaps they were part of the help. Either way, B comes into contact with A and helps them out of a situation. It is from this chance encounter that the two form a short-lived friendship. Of course, A never thought they'd see B again...but it turns out, B has been hired by their betroths family after seeing B helping A. (Whether or not A was fine with the arranged marriage setup is up to you, but basically things start to get complicated once B enters the picture.)
