This is a thread where we are looking to recruit role-players for the roleplay. This rp is going to be about romance. we're thinking like a dating game show/ show. Not sure yet. If interested, please inquire within the thread or a pm. This is purely a brainstorm gather and collect thoughts thread, but also a recruitment for possible rpers. 18 plus only.

well, what sort of romance are we going to do? like love is blind? random arrangement? we make roles and then people act them out?

i think that we could allow for relationships to manifest naturally. whoever their drawn to should be at the discretion of the player.
idk. let me give it some thought and i'll get back to you.

as far as using npc's: every round of elimination. an npc and an oc. obv the oc makes it, but if someone wants to off their character, we can do an oc/oc battle. or whatever.

since we want some fantasy involvement, i suggest our humans be good with fighting (ranged or melee).

i just had a flurry of ideas hang on.

what about using this

we have events where they have to perform skills. almost literally anything at all. doesnt have to be like survivor. but it can be. it can be silly. ie. baking, marksmanship/accuracy, sewing, etc. whoever performs the worst (roll) will have to fit their writing to the number. depending on how badly they did, they have points deducted until they reach a threshold where they have to have a last stand (arena 1v1 or something similar, romans fought animals right?) they live or die, (probably most often live).

or is that stupid.

idk. maybe we come up with an early list of events? reeeeeeee

these will be short, just one post. nothing too serious.

actually, we could do "household" rp normally, but when it comes time to do the events, they dm it to one of us to compile them all and post them all at the same time. does that make sense? so we can have like a deadline. that way we're not waiting to move the entire thing along. and we can focus on the real purpose for the rp.
