INFO ｡ ﾟ A charismatic man, Toshiro is laid back, outwardly friendly with the ladies- as well as calculating and observant. He won't outright choose to fight, instead will watch his opponent before making a move. Toshiro's been told that his friendly behavior gives him a winded type personality, one that is completely carefree.

As most people who join the demon corps, Toshiro grew up normal. He lived in a small village that cultivated rice & fruit. His family had five members, Toshiro being the youngest of three. His older sister Hana, and his older brother Keita, spoiled the young man rotten. However, when Toshiro was eleven, he was awakened by his sister. "Hurry, We must run!" Unsure of the situation, Toshiro was lethargic until the smell of smoke drifted into his room. Not only was his village ransacked by demons, but he couldn't find his brother or parents. His sister urged him to run, hide, not to worry- she was right behind him. His two feet carried him to the outskirts, but when he turned around she wasn't there. The fear of stepping back into the village overcame him, and without looking back he abandoned his family members.

After abandoning his family, Toshiro wandered aimlessly until he came across an older man. He took interest in him, and before long had him training to be the next Thunder Pillar. Fast forward twenty years- Toshiro is a successful Pillar. Having taken down one of the demon moons single-handedly, he doesn't like the idea of this so-called 'Peace Treaty'. In the end, it'll just turn into a massacre between the two groups- the Haibīsukasu Clan would be just collateral damage.

INFO ｡ ﾟ A shy young man, Tomoe is easily frightened by violence as well as anything scary. He's quiet, often opting to not speak unless spoken too, and extremely careful with strangers. His favorite spot would be next to the clan Head, Aoi, all day every day. He fears because of his plan someone would attempt to harm him. He's known as a crybaby at times, as well as a wimp.

Tomoe doesn't remember his human life too much. He remembers the gentle touch of his father, the song his mother hummed, and the laughter from his baby sister. Tomoe wishes he could remember his face- but... He can't. What he does remember is waking up in the streets, a burning feeling in his chest. He does remember walking home and ripping his father apart- before moving onto his sister... and lastly his mother. The warmth between his fingers, and the flesh in his mouth. It didn't matter that he felt disgusted, fat tears rolling down his face.. No. After that terrible night, Tomoe locked himself in his family closet. He closed his eyes and waited for it to end... Until it opened.

He was greeted with a man with red hair, and with a gentle hand took Tomoe down the path of forgiveness. Ever since he joined the Haibīsukasu Clan; Tomoe spends his time clinging and 'Protecting' their leader Aoi. Developing and honing his demon ability- Tomoe understands that he might have to separate pillars and demons... Hopefully, he doesn't but... You never know.

INFO ｡ ﾟyuuna is a woman full of yearning. she yearns to prove herself, to be powerful, and to survive. and she is more than willing to shed blood in order to succeed. she's been underestimated and unwanted for as long as she's been alive. abandoned as a baby, it was lucky that she even survived in the forest as long as she did. she was found and taken in by a kind old woman who was more than willing to take care of her. she was happy, for a time, being raised by the village's resident healer.

until she was 10 and the village was ransacked by demons. the majority of the people who lived there died or burned in flames as high as the trees and all yuuna could do was flee. fear making her heart pound in her chest in a way she'd never felt before, it made her feel useless, helpless to see the village where she had grown up destroyed, the people she cared about killed.

once more, she relied on the kindness of a stranger, but this time it was the previous pillar of blood. and the woman wasn't kind. she was harsh, demanding, and abrasive. she told yuuna that if she wanted to survive in such a cruel world she must be willing to do everything she could; no injury could compare to seeing another day. under the tutelage of the blood pillar she never felt like anything but a successor, a student. unwanted, but needed.

yuuna as a person is cautious, observant and cunning. and she is more than capable of twisting a situation to suit her needs. she is nigh emotionally impenetrable unless she's fighting, that is where she wears her heart (and her blood) on her sleeve and her hatred of demons and sheer bitter rage is revealed. she feels like this marriage is ridiculous and if it comes down to it, she will happily shed demon blood if it means she gets to live another day.

INFO ｡ ﾟfalling for koritsu means near certain death at her greedy maw.

but it's so easy to do when the demon herself creates the desire to listen, to follow. it's true, koritsu is absolutely bewitching and her beauty is extraordinary. lucky for most, she only takes those who are foolish enough to fall into her traps, viewing playing with humans as a game. if they avoid her or are strong enough to ignore her, she lets them live, if not... they get the honour of being her companion, for a while. until she gets bored or she gets wary, for humans are surprisingly strong and she's been stabbed more than once by a human she's kept for too long.

surprisingly, koritsu has some admiration for humans and their resiliency, unlike fellow demons, and is often quite curious about them, which is why she often keeps them. she remembers little from her human life, knowing only that she died alone. isolated. which is where she assumes her strong desire to never be alone comes from.

she's fairly emotional for a demon, falling close to the needy category. she absolutely hates solitude and will even occasionally disguise herself to travel into human towns, just for interaction. yet, she's not human by any means. her hunger is real and she has no qualms about devouring mortals. despite the fact that she's strong, she's not the fighting kind of demon and is more likely to distract and flee when it comes to battles. perhaps that is how she's survived for so long when her demon peers have met their demise at the hands of the pillars.

INFO ｡ ﾟobservant, easy-going, jokester, nonchalant, you assumed just because he is part of the demon slayer group he should be taken seriously, but truthfully, senzo is the exact opposite. his power seems to define how he is, even do he is laid-back, he is always watching. watching his friends, watching his enemies. the male isn't quick to judge but once he grabs enough info about someone he is willing to interrogate and play his games. his power, helps it. it molds him to be mindful of his surroundings and also to protect who he cares about. Just because he is joking all the time, doesn't mean he isn't aware of what is happening around him.

INFO ｡ ﾟlawful good in every way, Tamane is an upholder of rules and justice within the Haibī Clan. A sweet girl who thinks she has the perfect morals. Tamane wants the best for her clan whichever way allows them to live peacefully among the slayers. She has a tendency to be abrasive and unyielding, but underneath that armor is a woman who is tired of fighting and seeing other die.

Tamane was raised in the countryside, nothing exciting or engaging about her way of life. It was two nights before her mother’s birthday that they were attacked by a demon, killing Tamane’s parents and three younger sisters... but sparing Tamane. Even with humanity Tamane had strict laws for herself, and no matter how hungry she got for human flesh, she refused to let herself succumb to savagery. It wasn’t long before the head of the Haibī Clan sought her out; the tales of country livestock going missing was enough to ask the young demon to join the Clan.

After taking up the Haibīsukasu Clan as her own, Tamane got to work on becoming stronger. With the help and teachings of Aoi, Tamane has taken on a self righteous role to redemption and seeing the end of the warring species.

INFO ｡ ﾟMalick or Mal to those that know him on a more personal basis is generally cold during battle but can be random at times as he doesn’t care to keep a single front and likes to throw people off when they first see him. A façade for those that really don’t know him. He doesn’t like to recall his human life at all if he even dares admit to remembering any of it though certain things tend to spark his curiosity for small bits of time before he goes back to doing what he does. He generally sticks to the basis plan of attack for the clan though if a challenge peaks his interest he won’t hesitate to approach it.

Once the clan initially found him he was hesitant but at least it was a direction to point his new abilities towards. Ever since the change he first initially wondered but now has some structure, or at least a fine guide.

INFO ｡ ﾟWhile not as chaotic and bloodthirsty as some of the moons, Souei does possess a rather mischievous side. The demon is always one for having a good time, even if it does land him into trouble from time to time. Yet, underneath the carefreeness, is a man that has been suffering since the night he was turned into the monster he is today. Not that he’d let anyone see or even admit to this.

Souei’s life prior to becoming a demon, was never the most happy. First his mother abandons him as a babe and if it wasn’t for his master, the Pillar of Wind, who raised the boy, he wouldn’t be alive today. If alive is what you call this life, then sure. Being raised by a demon slayer for the sole intent of inheriting the breath style as a pillar was utter hell, but if Souei had the chance to change things, he wouldn’t. His master was crazy and strict but he never abandoned him and even fed him his favorite foods whenever he was able to master a certain area of his training.

That was his life until the day he was plopped into the final selection, passed with flying colors (of course!) and became a bonafide slayer, a man on his own with ambitions to be the best! Five years into this gig, his life was turned upside down when a demon got the best of him, but instead of killing him, the monster decided to do something worse…. It changed him.

Unable to do what was honorable and being weak to the needs of his new demon body, Souei focused the last of his will into attacking other demons, all the while he was lost to himself. An endless rage that inevitably attacked the wrong demon, the alluring Kureko Maou. Instead of putting Souei out of his mercy, she took this sorry excuse of a demon home and gave him a place to come to terms with his new life as a monster.

INFO ｡ ﾟ Upon first meeting Ryoka it would be easy to presume that he has a cold personality paired with the silver tongue of an affront snake. Nonetheless, if you spend some time with him that cold demeanor dissipates into an attentive and charmingly playful temperament, Alternatively he has a bad habit of intentionally pushing people's buttons with quick remarks and snide comments.

Ryoka's early childhood was spent in a Okiya, where he ran errands, and did chores. It was uncommon for a boy to work at a geisha house but he was allowed to stay given his mother's infamy as a highly desired geisha. When Ryoka turned twelve a man claiming to be his father took custody of him.

His life shifted drastically once he moved in with his father. Suddenly he was in training to be a swordsman, his father was the inheritor of a special style called the Breath of Flames and talked of the Demon Slaying Corps. Obviously Ryoka had heard of demons, but rather than the fabled yokai or spooky ghost stories him and the girls would tell each other at night, he had seen real ones. the loan sharks that broke legs and shattered lives over debts. The Gambling den's and Opium houses that loaded people with poison and addiction. Growing up in the red light district of Kyoto had exposed him to the "demons" of humanity. Now training with his father would expose him to the supernatural entities Ryoka had only imagined in fables.

When the time came to join the Demon Corps. however Ryoka in a fit of rebellion sighed up to fight for the shogun instead. It was so freeing, like a huge weight had been taken off his shoulder. He was no longer beholden to his bloodline. Although his freedom was short lived,He doesn't remember the exact moment of his turning only waking up, knee deep in the intestines of his comrade, blood drenched with guts dangling from his mouth. After a couple years of rampaging, Ryoka met Haibīsukasu who enlightened him to a new way of living. Desperate to find his humanity again Ryoka shifted his ways.

Ryoka is the official messenger of the Haibisukasu Clan and his current goal is to make sure this peace treaty is upheld. He plans on keeping tabs on all involved parties to make sure that everyone is getting along. think of him like a babysitter.

INFO ｡ ﾟalthough her mischief tends to annoy others, chou always has a smile on her face regardless of the situation. she’s relatively harmless, albeit her intensive knowledge of medicine and poisons. and, despite her expertise, she’s become increasingly insecure due to her lack of physical abilities.

chou vaguely recalls her human life but, if she had the choice, she’d choose to forget it. she was a nomad, traveling with the people who found her; and, even though she never knew her parents, she was content. but, in a blink of an eye, everyone she had grown fond of was gone. she has suppressed the details of that day, but she explicitly remembers how the sun reflected against the blood on her hands.

she continued to stay alive by feeding on animals and foraging in the wild. however, she was still a child and, with no family or friends, who would help her carry this life-threatening burden? the answer was aoi. when he found her, much like the nomads did, she gratefully accepted his offer to join the haibīsukasu clan. she never would’ve thought she’d become the clan’s official medical expert, though!
