Teen Parent & Pregnancy Guild
What is the purpose of this guild? - Our purpose is to give teens, whether they're mum/moms or dads, or are mum/moms and dads-to-be's, a place to get advice, guidance, or just chill out with other parents and parents to be just like themselves.
Who is your main audience? - Our age range is a bit off from the name, it was decided that we broaden our horizons just a bit, so we accept any who are expecting, have an expectant partner, or are already a parent, aged 25 years or under. We also welcome those who have been in this position themselves and are over 25, and of course we do appreciate any input, chat or advice from other parents who started their parental journey after 25 years of age.
What are your requirements for joining? - We only have a few short, simple requirements for joining, that are necessary for any request into the guild. We do ask for a name, as 'useless' as it may seem, we ask for Gaia name though you are free to use your real name or nickname if you choose. it just gives a bit of 'proper' introduction. Age is important, this wont single you out but without this, your request is liable to go unaccepted. If you are serious about joining please state this, and the next requirement. Status Whether this is mum/mom/dad, expecting or the father-to-be, this is the last and possibly the most important requirement. We don't ask of anything more. If you wish to put anything else in you are welcome to, just take note it is not necessary in the request form.
What's on offer? - The main board is the Lounge, just about anything and everything goes here. Rants, raves, general chitchat, and of course the Rules, Introductions, and a nicely placed Picture Thread. Subforums include Problems And Advice, covering any and all aspects of the words; Parenting: QnA and Discussion, as it says on the tin for the parents of the forum to give and receive specific parental advice and discuss their parental lives and their children; Pregnancy: QnA and Discussion, again like the Parenting subforum only this one is for those who are expecting, or have an expectant partner; and last but not least, Holiday/Contest/Events, mostly for the members to post their in guild notices, and link out to other Contest/Events, as well as discussion of the above.
Misc Notices
Firstly, although we have been around two years now, the guild is still on the low side, of course this is natural as, as parents or parents to be, other things in life do and will take priority, as well as any other issues that may arise.
Our member count is 91 with a post count of 2544.
We are hoping to spread the word, giving Gaians a place or another place to go, with others like themselves to chat with and seek or give advice to.
