GUILD

A shop that is *hopefully* unique, and somewhat different from all those other horse shops. This shop will not have set lineart and templates. In fact, each pet will be of it's own design, pose and all. It's much like those shops that have individual humanoid pets--only these are horses.

Therefore, if you are thinking of applying in the future, you need to take in the fact that you'll have a lot on your hands. You'll need to have at least a bit of horsey-knowledge, such as different breeds, colorings, and of course, the horse figure. Most horses from this shop will be natural colored, with a few rare exclusions. But there DEFINITELY will be no neon-colored, or crazy-patterned horses. This shop will focus on a more simpler form of coloring. But even though having to create a whole horse from scratch may seem intimidating, the colorist will have to complete fewer pets than other shops. The pets from this shop will be beautiful and rare, and thus, will not be handed out in dozens. <3

|| STORY/ INFO. ||

The Western Frontier. A place of adventure, magic, beauty... and danger.

But although the west seemed an intimidating place, many souls made it their home, one of these being the wild horse. Horses, in a way, helped us shape the west into what it is today. They were there, with every explorer, with every pioneer, with every greedy little landlord looking to earn an extra buck on virgin soil. They saw it all, right alongside their trusted owners. But there was another form of equine that helped shaped the culture of the west, the wild mustang. A fiery, brave animal, surviving the driest of summers and coldest of winters so as only to survive. It is the mustang that gave the west it's mysterious spirit. It was the mustang that befriended the Native Americans, that lent them the strength of freedom. It was the mustang that set the cowboy's heart afire and made him eager for adventure. And it is still the mustang that enchants us all today.

So come, come into the west, and experience the magic of the wild horse. Perhaps, if your soul is pure and your body is worthy, one of these great animals will give you the trust that has formed the ageless bond of man and beast.

Alright, so I'm not sure of the name yet, but even though these mustangs live in the 1800's time period of the west, the place they live will have a special name given to it by the Native Americans. This place will consist of wide open prairie, flower-filled valleys, beautiful harwood forests, denser coniferous forests, mountains, lakes, and streams. Map is to come.

The open range is where you can find most of the mustangs. They use the open grassland to roam and start herds of their own.

The bonding grounds, where the mustangs bond with humans, can be found in the valleys. It is in these beautiful valleys that humans discover the mustangs, capture their hearts, and eventually bond with them.

There are a few low mountains where the breeding grounds can be found. Most mustangs make their way to the peaceful mountain springs to raise their young foals.

Lonely or anti-social mustangs keep to themselves within the forests. It is here that they can escape herd life and live a life on their lonesome.

These horses will be RP-required. They will NOT, however, have to be heavily RPed. About one new, or finished, RP will be required a month, simply to make sure that the owner hasn't abandoned the shop. If the owner fails to meet these requirements, they will be given a two-week warning (with private PM) to either start or finish an RP. If they fail to do this, they will have their pet taken away. Vacations and hiatus' will be understood, as long as the shop manager is notified.

--If it is found that someone is starting RPs and leaving them at that, as in not continuing the RPs, simply to meet requirements and not have their pet taken away, they will be warned. If tey continue to do this, they will be grey-listed for at least a month, and be excluded from the shop for at least a month.

Alright, so here's the scoop. I'm going to be picky about the colorists for this shop. I won't lie. But as long as you know the basics of horse anatomy, and your drawing is decent, I'll allow time for future progress. Being asked to draw something that you usually don't draw is hard, and I understand that. So don't worry--I'm not too mean. x'D
Just try your best, and have fun! (Oh, and your horses don't have to look exactly like mine. Variety is a good thing.)

I've changed the process. All you need to do is post previous artwork, preferably of a horse. It would be best to draw a horse and submit it in your application.

--90% of auctions.
--100% of customs, games, breedings.
Where does the other percent go? To pay the manager and fill the guild account.

This is a vague reference for what I want. There's a faint background of a beautiful valley and mountains, and the edges of the cert kind of fade into nothing. This can be painted by someone, or can be an actual picture.

I've done just about every single type of contest or event out there and still have an enormous amount of ideas. And holy smokes if it's with horses even more! <3
