Idea/ect.

Basic Story:

Once upon a time, before even the eldest spirit’s memory, they had human forms. They lived upon the surface, instead of being trapped down here, in this dark damp place, and they had human carers, who progressed to being friends, lovers sometimes even. And then, a human finds them. A adult male, recovering from a mental condition, finds the spirits, and believes he is going mad again. And then, he touches one. His life is never the same again. The orb begins to follow him around, a little rainbow glowing ball of colors, with a big streak of blood-red in it, and that is when he realises it is not an illusion – others can see it as well. Zaxe, as the ball discovers his name is, decides that he will protect these mysterious orbs, and when his hatches, into a brightly-colored fluffball, it soon progresses into a Teenager who has decided to call himself Jami. Jami is not the typical Spirit. He is one of the most powerful – the Nekomata. Rarer than the other breeds, these powerful spirits can control both other spirits and humans, but often have severe mental follys. In Jami’s case, he suffers from both schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder. But, the fact that both of them suffer from mental disorders has only heightened their relationship, and their determination to protect the other, unhatched spirits. So, they search out those in need of a friend, those they think will have a good connection with their spirit, and convince them to travel into London’s underground, without revealing the purpose of their visit, and blindfolding them on their way there. When each of these chosen people touches a spirit globe, there adventure into the world of the unkown will begin..

Hmm.

I noticed you commented in my price thread about applying here, but I have a question. ^^;

Do we, the artist(s), have to be able to line our own works? I'm good at practically sketching -- I have nothing but a mouse to work with and no access to line art worthy markers or pens. I also don't color very well (yet) and use only PrismaColor Pencils at best. Would all of this pose a problem or can there be resolutions?

How does this work again? I did one B/C job once almost.. two or three years ago. Do I draw the basic templates or wha..? :3 I probably couldn't be of good use to you until the teen and up stages plus the orb to perhaps kitten stages. :b I remember drawing a toddler Anubis and other Egyptian gods once and yeah.. It was scary. >.< It was also three years ago so perhaps I'm being over judgmental with myself. :]

I am also currently an applicant to two joint art shops seeking artists, so I won't receive word on if I'm chosen or not until Monday or Tuesday..

Past Jobs:
(3) Old Art Shops -- all joint that just died from inactivity or whatnot
(4) Old Freebie Shops -- died as time stretched on, inactivity grew, or my style changed
(1) B/C Artist Job -- I disappeared for college and had to just quit
(2-4) Joint Art Shops -- these I joined, and eventually left due to inactivity on my part
(1-2) Guest Artist Appearances - these were temporary anyway

Can you color on your own: Yes and No; I can use PrismaColor Colored Pencils and understand the color wheel, but as far as coloring well, I don't believe I've reached that stage yet.

Why should you work for this shop: Well I love the Owner so far because she's the most willing to work with me, and flexibility is one of the most primary things I need. ^^ Second, the concept of the whole operation is awesomely appealing to me. I can provide moderate activity, perhaps some sense of insight, humor, company, experience, and marshmallows. Who the heck denies marshmallows? C'monnnn..
How many customs can you complete in one month: On a good month, probably as many as needed; on a consistent basis, perhaps three or four
Anything else I should know?: I will more than likely shut down my freebie shop once I hold a job as an artist in a B/C shop or a joint art shop, so my time will not be divvied up so much.
Activity level?: Daily posts, Consistent lurking and checkups

Try all the stages, even if they're not perfect.
With the exception of orb and fluff, as they cna be the same, you'll need to make a male and female version of each stage except for guardian.
Yup, basically you draw a basic template type thing.
It needs to be not too complex, but not boring either, and not personalitied very much - like, not overly sexy, or depressing, or stuff like that. With the exception of child and below stages, which should be cute.
