I think I suck at coloring.
I like soft cel better than Cel shade.
Although, I'm better at cel-shade.

I like your color better.
It's so nice and smooth.

OMG Kidchan = best artist ever *O*

For some reason I'm totally oblivious when people tell me I draw chibis >_>;;
Maybe it's becuase all the kiddies I draw have eyes that are too big DX

Oh... I guess buddy is busy with other stuff then.

nuuu~ i hope she still is going to be on top of the auction stuff..
One time i was in an auction that was goign to happen, but the person who thought up the whole thing broke up with her boyfriend...then it went downhill...and yah >,<
Dudeee..cellshading is so hard 8A8 i try, but fail lol
I started to use the free software> paint tool Sai< for the lines & coloring [sooo smooth]
C: its way faster to load then PS too hehe~
yess kidchan her colors are so awesome!!
And, do you know klar = heart his style *o*

Hello. =]] Here's my form.

[ I'm Simple ]

Name : Tehshi
Experience : I've been drawing since I was 3, you know, doggies horseys kitties mommy daddy ECT. I started drawing more seriously around 6 ish and started drawing anime around 7 ish. So I've been drawing for about 6 years (seriously), but have almost no talent in coloring what so ever.
Labor : None T crying T but hopefully this will be one of my first.
Samples/Gallery : Torso and Up (color) Colored Chibi B&W Torso and Up Another Colored Chibi
Reason : I'd like to be in your auction because I have never been in one before since I just joined Gaia a couple weeks ago. This one seems simple enough and I want to experience what these kinds of things are all about. Plus, I'd be able to meet a bunches of people. mrgreen
Simplicity : Happiness. Because to be happy, is just that simple.

I thought Klar was a lady.
I love how he draws.
The nice colors and anatomy.

Cell shading isn't that hard.
You just need to figure out the highlights and shadows.
I don't know.
lol, I use the lasso tool when I cel shade on Photoshop.
What I don't like about cel shading is that you have to keep it simple, which is what I can't do >.<
That's why soft cel is so awesome becuase you can get complicated with it <3

For some reason, I don't have a lot of inspiration anymore.
I have a hard time drawing now DX

I want to keep things simple sometimes in my art, so i try to...but its just that when you cel shade its like people can see the obvious difference in shape~ i think when i do it, i c that one part is really off and stuff since its like couple colors...
but i'll practice for sure! And, get better somehow xd

about the inspiration..I think that happened to me too..D:>
mmm...in the 9th grade i didnt draw for a whole year (artist block or something), so it affected me afterward...like skillwise, perhaps....
Then i was introduced to Photoshop last spring, then gaia...
LOL
umm..yah thats a bit of my life Annnyywayy, long story short = dont stop drawing! even if you dont get inspiration..
I force myself alot!! LOL I have an artshop here so..whenever people pay me goldz i feel responsible for their art and draw lol i dont know if thats a good motivation though..but afterwards i wanted to get better and started doing my own things..then i thought about doing auctions such as these xD

Hm... I've never stopped drawing.
My style evolved a lot, since I do experimenting now.
Well.. I think I have the 2nd type of Artist block.

1st Type : You have no ideas what so ever to draw and either continue to keep drawing or stop for a period of time.
2nd Type : You have so many ideas, but you just can't get it out of you head.

I think mainly I have so many ideas is because I'm too scared to take risks.
I've styed in my safe zone for a very long time DX

I don't know if this is butting in though, because if it is I won't say anymore, but I know both kidchan and klar and they are totally WIN *u* It's amazing how they draw. Especially Kidchan cause all her works are abstract in a way, colorful, and just plain awesome. But then klar uses really nice lines and a different coloring style, but he / she? is still awesome in his/her own way. whee

What I really like about Klar is how she draw anatomy.
I don't know, she's really good with anatomy, but she's not afraid to exaggerate it.
I also love how she does her line art.

As for Kidchan, the sheer beauty and emotion in her art just blows me away.

Another favorite artist of mine is lone-momo.
She's great with shading and very detail orientated.
