Welcome to the hiring and essentially interest thread for Fluffy Tails not Required!

The shop is currently a work in progress found over here: Main Thread. As such any help in suggestions and comments is greatly appreciated.

When finished it will feature over 10 completely unique species with 16 varieties of Doodlebugs and somewhere around 9 "Fluffs and Stuff". All these pets have anthropomorphic stages and are roughly the size of a person's hand.

Planned opening event is the begining of Janurary, offical date still pending.

Most information needed is in the main thread so I'll only be posting quick overviews of the information. See post 5 for the story, 6 for an idea of the pet types and 7 for things like RP, breeding and sales info.

۝Hiring۝

Taking applications until Jan 2nd

Looking to hire an unset number of colorists at this time. It is OK to request to be a part-time artist. If you do you will have less responsibilities than what is listed

You will be responsible for doing pet colorings at least once a month. If you can edit it is a plus as I'd like at least one editor.

You must have an instant messenger or email that you can be contacted at.

You must remain active, try and drop by a few times a week for at least half an hour.

Do not bite off more than you can chew, evolutions should be no more than a week late. You must also let owners know when and why you will be late.

You will be responsible for uploading uncerts and then posting for the owners to see.

Must be able to work with multilayered PSD files. A set will be either uploaded or emailed to you.

You must tell ladykayra when the pet is finished growing so that she may cert it, never delete pet info either. (Unless we get a PSD cert at which point you may cert)

You mange your own custom and breeding threads as well as your own games.

You will be asked to help with events.

You must inform ladykayra and other staff if you can not get on for an extended period of time.

Benefits

You get 95% of breedings/flatsale/auction/raffle pets and 98% of customs. The 5% and 2% cover shop associated costs.

You set your own custom prices and you get a pet trade per sale per person. Basically if you do one main shop sale you can have a pet trade with anyone. To have another pet trade with the same person you must do another shop sale.

You get two freebie pets for yourself or a friend every month as long as you are active. (This means stop by at least a few times a week for half an hour)

After your first sale you may open bribe only slots of any kind.

I also need one certist to make the actual certs. Please choose either standard or free fonts when making it as I can read PSD files with fonts but not edit the fonts. This means I have to match the font you use.

We have one lame cert I made and then the super cool chalkboard by wingseagle so this just would be mostly event certs

۝Story۝

You come into a small, barely hole in the wall, shop which reads "Pets" above the door. The sign in the window said open but as you look around you can't seem to find anyone there. Approaching the counter you look towards the back. Strangely you can see no cages and you hear no animals. You look around the front again.

A chair sits in one corner with a small night stand beside it. On the night stand is a lamp which appears to have a string on in. Walking over you take your hand and follow the string's path, which leads you back to the counter. You look around again but see no one.

"Hello", you call.

"Hello", a voice returns in but a squeak.

Looking around you don't see where the voice could have come from. Again you call, "hello?!"

"Down here" the voice replies. "Look at the counter you silly person!"

Looking down you see a small creature, barely the size of your hand. It looks a bit like a person, just a bit. With no real fingers or hands and antenna at the top of it's head could it really be considered a person? "Um...hello" , you stutter out.

"You have said that twice already!" the creature snaps. "Hurry up now if you want a pet we have to go to the back." With that the little creature grabs a nearby pencil and slides down another piece of string which goes from the counter to the back.

You follow it to find your new pet.

5 Fluffs and Stuff previews

۝Basic Info۝

Pets evolve as so:

Doodlebugs: 1 week as bug->2 weeks as sack bug-> 2 weeks third stage-> Final stage

Fluffs and Stuff: Same as doodlebugs but they have only three forms for the most part

Breeding

Is done by sets of rolling. Either 1-3 or 1-5 babies depending on what is finally decided by artists. Then if breeds are mixed a roll for either mother of father's form(when no edits). Finally, if applicable, a roll for male or female.

Genders

Doodlebugs are technically neither gender. Fluffs and stuff are generally gendered.

Sales

One sale of some kind in the main shop at least every other month is prefered. Flatsale price is 5K which is also the auction starting price. Items to change growths, breed, ect will be sold.

Familars

Familiars are planned. They are nonanthros.

Customs

Individual to artists with one central form. 6 types of customs should have ranging prices. Artists are not required to offer all customs but should have at least one.

Roleplaying

Is not required. Power Points are awarded to those who post and are active whether RPing or not. A free RP avi for owners can be requested through the art shop Music to my Soul.
