You know how you're hanging out in towns or zomg or rally (special thanks to Magegirl Nino for the idea) and a friend says brb and as soon as they leave you gotta pee like a german race horse or your parents need you for something or you find out you have a pm you wanna look at well this is my idea in the little bar where the report button,pose button there should be a new button called the "AFK or BRB" button so your friends or random people that wanna talk to you in towns know that you're not being a snobby jerk but in reality you're just afk for a minute or two what do you think? if this is something you wanna support please say something along the lines of i want to sign or i support this petition and i'll add you to the list

summarizing the idea there will be a button you can press that will have a thought bubble above your head that will simply say brb when you press the brb button when you come back just press the button again and the bubble will go away

In Towns like, lots of people are probably seen as ignorant whereas it is just that they are not there at the time..it could be for whatever reason.

And instead of them typing that they will brb and the message disappearing later, something like this will help, where there will be a definate indication of their status at the time.

And also its good to use if you say bye to someone and just don't want to leave...you can just use that as an indication you're going to exit.

Also, if you are multi-tasking and say you are using email while in towns...then you can use it every time you are using email, or something..

I dunno, I think it is a good idea. It will probably make people want to socialize more in Towns too...because then it is more likely that person they are talking to is actually there...since often half people in Towns talk, and the other half just sit or stand there..
