Because I always thought and hoped that Gaia was one of these sites that I wouldn't have to worry about virus, Malware, And all that other lovely stuff. I have told my friends when using THEIR computer's Gaia was safe and that I knew 100% that I wouldn't put a virus in their computer from it.
But I'm not so sure anymore and will try to only use Gaia on my own computer for the sake of my friends.
I have to lower my head at this Gaia, I thought you werebetter then this, Better then coming to these lows.
If you guys needed cash so badly why didn't you tell us? We have hearts too. And I'm sure people would buy more gaia cash. But to put our computer's safety at risk for a few short bucks? Wow. Just wow.
You guys REALLY don't know how much it costs to get a really bad virus such as the Win32 virus found in the Free Dingbat Smileys, And CursorMania offer?

Most people don't have that kind of money to put out cause you guys ******** up and didn't test out these guys before selling us off to them.

You probably also left the boxes checked when you installed it, which gives you a virus.

There are THOUSANDS of websites that offer money or virtual game cash for doing this exact thing.

I have read the scam warnings and the virus warnings. This is total crap, way to protect you 13 and up users Gaia. Seriously, this is utter crap. CHILDREN use this site, these spamming, crazy offers are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

When I first read the list of sites offering "Free" Gaia Cash I was suspicious as most of them seemed too good to be true what with having to give away PERSONAL information.

I always thought Gaia was against scams IRL and through Gaia in any way. Now Gaia for some undisclosed amount of money while (probably) knowing full well these are scams allow its users to try and give away valuable information? This is just a low blow for money. This is no better than those banners that directly link us to those scam sites, only this is through Gaia where it "promises" to protect its users.

This sickens me.

It's not entirely the fact that someone may or may not have gotten a virus, but the fact that Gaia, who is supposed to protect, its users from scams such as these are DIRECTLY linking its users those sites.
