I couldn't agree more to everything being said. Gaia has outright crossed from greedy to unsafe. This is promoting spam, hacking, everything we're supposed to avoid, and they're supporting it.
I wonder what Lanzer would say to defend himself if people asked this at a con panel? I mean, seriously, how can you say you stand by your users and bait them with things like this?

I clicked on one of the links just to check it out
My Norton scanner went CRAZY and wouldn't even let me access the site, claiming it "unsafe"
Big red x's galore and it blocked a trojan.
So it's not even the fact that we're giving away our identities to unsafe sites over the internet
But our computers could be crashed too.

Seriously, we all know the economy is in a downfall, but ti's slowly getting better. Gaia needs to get their act together, this isn't the site I fell in love with. All the Advertisements and now those Virus infected "Free Gaia Cash" surveys? I don't know who or what the ******** is wrong with Gaia, but I'm about to quit entirely. This is Pathetic. Retard. This isn't the only thing about gaia that pisses me off. Gaia is suppose to be PG13, but their items are slutty, and more. The companions have huge a** thighs, thongs, big breasts, and are in slutty positions. That's not what these young people should be seeing. This is a site for kids, do you really think some of them will read the small condition prints? A LOT of them probably are scams. People prolly won't get their Free Gaia Cash, others will be charged $9.99 a month without knowing it, and kids who do it for the Gaia Cash will put their parents in a downfall. They wouldn't know what's right or wrong until they go broke. I heard complaints from my friends who tried it. These surveys are asking for SS Numbers, Credit Card Numbers, and more. Plus, Gaia is being hypocritical. "Xxxx333xxxX" has a point. Monthly collectibles were NEVER suppose to be given away again, it's suppose to be available ONCE, and only ONCE, unless it's from the MP.

Gaia, you disapoint me, with your Money Hungry Issues. Keep this up and you will lose more then HALF of your active members.

I was shocked when I saw the "free" offers. Gambling sites and clear scams.Gaia must take remove it, it's just dangerous!

Those offers are far to dangerous for people on the site to be using.
It's ridiculous, since a large majority of the users are under 18, I am by a year or so, they risk a lot of future identity theft. Plus if a kid borrowed the numbers off a mom's credit card there is a whole mess of trouble there. I'm pretty dissapointed, Gaia may not be handing out the risks but they are condoning it, which is just as bad.
