I'd also like to refute Sagger's assumption that it's "not 'false advertising' to cash buyers because the owners are still getting the same amount of bounty".

I am DEFINITELY only getting half the average bounty I was getting before the most recent nerfs. Unfortunately I only kept statistics for my Boycotting Love account, but a slow week for that tank even before the performance enhancements was 350k (50k a day), with a good week at 460k (65ish k a day). Now it's earning 25k-30k a day, and I know that quite a few games get the max number of players.

Following your comment on my profile, I took the time to extract your daily earnings from your tank (not from games you play yourself). To prevent harassment, I removed the gold quantities. This is how it looks in the last month or so:

I see a random process, and I don't see a significant nerfing anywhere in the last month.

While I understand there theory of removing inflation and such, they need to not go back on their words. The least they could do is give everyone fair warning and wait until the last of the fish, that were purchased before said warning would be dead...

You should not be able to change something once you have sold it. You might as well sell a laptop with a 3GHz processor a 1TB harddrive and a 24hour life battery, so hmmmmm.... nevermind, and then replace the harddrive with a 1GB harddrive a 5ooMHz processor and a 1o minute life battery. I used to never spend my money at gaia, always somewhere else like flyff or other places, where using real money would help me a lot. Gaia says, ok we're doing this to help the noobs. Wtf? Everyone here was a noob once and quite a few (like myself) didn't need any help from gaia whatsoever. So be wary gaia and rethink this decision. As someone else said the S.O.S. worked extremely well, accumulating well over 1billion gold. It takes just a little bit of creativity to come up with great gold sinks. Think gaia, think.

How about they just raise the percentage to 35%-40% of what a person gets in a game. It is at 25%, and if the person who spent gaia cash on this just gained more money than those playing the game that wouldn't cause as much of a problem???

it is nice to see that a developer is in here and looking over things.

but ..there has been a decrese

out of full 17 fish tanks were only getting a 5.7% trigger rate on fish .. 2-3 on more then a number of plays

if i play 40 booty tanks i use to average 5- 8 trigger fish per tank as well as 450-800 gold
(using minimization / resizing technique to reduce lag)

now those same random 40 tnaks i will get an average of 2-4 trigger fish .. and i'm lucky to get 250 let along 500 gold.

my tank iteself use to earn me decent amounts ... it has been terible return. yes i have starfish they trigger and clump coins but do not trigger as often as the add turtles ...

900 + i post in my sigs when i get invited to post if they pull 900 no posts ..on my profile

less trigers = less payout. less payout = no money to rebuy and suport gaia
Keep digging this hole . Unless booty grab goes back to the way it was i wont be sinking more
money into comunity.. i know others will not either.

and if people stop buying for aquariums .. that means NO sales from phin means no profilt
means pimping yourself out for more adds on site. and begging for cash on the corner.

Not signs, signatures. XD I don't see the point of fancy signs: black, direct and to the point. (Btw, to those who are wondering, they are now: In My Journal. (Wow, I finally used it!) Everyone up to this points has been updated, look into my journal for all those whom have signed already and for future signatures. The front page will be definitely used for ideas to make BG better without nerfing as well as announcements, etc.

Actually, it's consistent: more booty grab on weekends, less on weekdays. Monday night, Tuesday-Thursday are generally less BG-making days; whilst, obviously, moving up on the weekends. And, if you could take a look from the last two weekends, there is a decrease by about half from this weekend and last. (That is a rough estimate from the dots.)
