Although I'm a supporter of gold sinks...

I find this feature pointless, regardless if it's a gold sink. I don't see the point in marrying someone when you already have the real deal in RL. For the teens who WANT to Gaia marriage... A certificate is useless. A shop can offer that for a really low price.

I just see that this will ruin a lot of Gaia User-Run Businesses... They may go out of order, because:

1) Like you said in your intro post, not everyone likes to to roleplay.

2) They rather go to this feature.

Honestly, I don't see why people want this so much. You already can get married, without roleplaying. If people have such bad imaginations... then they need to let loose. People can easily say "Hey, we're married", or go to a User-Run business for a certificate.

Except that this doesn't offer the elaborate ceremony a lot of those user-run shops seem to run. Therefore, you have the ceremonial user-run shops, and the "courthouse" shop.

-Shrugs.- Meh, I thinking that there'll be some users who will go to the User-Run ones that are cheaper than 10k.

Please, list me as a supporter.

This is the best thought out and designed proposal yet.

Ahahaha, get it?

Anyway. This would be a wonderful addition and an excellent gold sink.

If they'd prefer the user shops, I'm not here to stop them. But it can't hurt to have more choices.

The really stupid thing about this is that it will never be a gold sink except when sold in the marketplace - even if some of us think it should be...

Just a feeling I have that they will put it in the CS in some form. They did it with the orphans.

It WOULD be nice if they used some sort of gold-sinking system...

I think this sorta thing would ONLY work as a gold sink. :/

Thats only OUR opinion though. Especially if it could be a permanent long-term thing...

Oh you mean the marriage certificates and wedding rings? They might but this would be a much better system (but then, I made it so I can't be trusted to be completely unbiased xD)

Dapper Noob

Do want~

I think this would be a cute feature to have and all your points are VERY valid.
I think it should be a Gold Sink as well.
Too much gold floating around Gaia.
I rather just have Buy A Vow, rather than a fancy Church and s**t. confused

Although I don't support the feature of a marriage system, I choose buying a vow... It's like Vegas, almost. That's a good thing, by the way.
