Boycotting Aquariums Items, CLOSED!

I was looking forward to this when I first saw the announcement. It said some premium stuff would be in the CS, but nothing about having to pay for the fish and all that other bullshit.

Ever since the CS came to Gaia, it's been going downhill at an alarming rate. It isn't about the users anymore. It's about money. MCs are getting sloppy, and I used to love waiting for them to open up. Now, everything is about the overpriced EIs and other cash only items.

Ugh, and all I wanted to do was play with my fishies... Now I may as well forget ever being excited for it, and go out and buy a ten gallon tank, gravel, cute little items, food, and fishies for less than what it would cost to buy them on here. Plus, they would live so much longer =)

What could have been a great gold sink.. it now UGH!!!

Feel free to add me to that list. I was quite excited, since being a Turtle Boy obsessed with fishing, it would work well. But real cash for fake fish? Gaia is as they say, a stick and a string with a fly at one end and a fool at the other.

Maybe the cheap fish in the shops, should die after a while... but the ones from cash shop should live for a MUCH longer time.

They should be more realistic about it... Fish never die in 2 weeks... No fish has a life expectancy that short. As long as you feed em once a day, they should live for years! Or at least months.

Seems like Gaia is just trying to squeeze money out of this... I remember a time, back before Gaia had a cash shop... If Aquarium was created back then, the fish would live forever...

Tsk Tsk Gaia... shame on you for becoming such a horribly greedy load of commercialized s**t.

Sign me up. I haven't even wasted one penny on here and I still don't plan to any time soon. (I bought all 9+ of my EI's with gold only. Some were bought after the price went way down months later)
