No, we don't have to deal. You make it seem like there was something in your own personal life that you have never complained about.

You don't like something, you say it. Why should we have to deal when we're members of this site just like everyone else?

We're not using it, simple as that. So using your own advice, if you have a problem with people complaining -don't hang out in the site feedback forum.

i will be boycotting the Aquarium. I was really excited for this feature, and will not be using it because I don't believe I should HAVE to pay money to be on Gaia and use the features. That is part of what made Gaia so great in the fist place - It was FREE. Now, the vast majority of items cost REAL money, between $1 and $10 dollars. I was fine with donating monthly to the site, because I wasn't being forced too.

Now I won't even be doing that.

the problem is that we do like it. we just don't want to work twice as hard as people with disposable income to enjoy a feature that was thought up by users to begin with.

and technically we're doing exactly what you just suggested. we don't like how the feature works, so we're not using it. ;P

I agree. It's a wonderful idea, the new aquarium, but our boycott is simply for the fact that to enjoy you you need to pay. Gaia is a FREE website, we shouldn't have to pay real money for these fun little features.
