Welcome Elfgiva's bathtime and bedtime item petition!
First I'd like to say thank you to the devs for all their hard work and we hope to see the bedtime items and the bathroom housing items soon, especially if they are as good as the bathroom items update was!

I'd also like to say thank you for the bathtub we finally received during the Christmas event of 2009! Nicely done!

Especially thank you to using so many of the ideas we suggested and the ones you guys came up with were brilliant.
New edits here now as well as a new banner on the way.
If you wish to be added to the list you must state that you sign or I'm not allowed to add you!
Please refrain from stretching the page, the codes for the banners do that already, and that's annoying enough!
If you have an idea, edit, banner, etc or comment (for or against, I believe ALL feedback is important as long as reasons are given, not just "this idea sucks", say why) please post it in my thread in the Site Feedback (aka sf). There is a banner to it in the banners post and I'll post a link at the bottom of each of the petition posts for easy access.
This is my first petition so if I have missed anything important, please post in the sf thread.
I hope you like my ideas and everyone's suggestions!

The Idea

Basically, I was thinking of an expansion for the pj sets, then I realised that many people would probably want bathroom items and possibly some more housing items too?

And it would also be good as it could be spread over almost all the stores instead of the same damn stores always getting new items!

This is a gaia-wide item update suggestion NOT a monthly collectible suggestion, although there may be ONE OR TWO items that may work better as collectibles.

Please note bathrobes and dressing gowns are not the same thing. People do sometimes use one for both, but they are made from different materials. Bathrobes are always made from a toweling material (no matter how soft or not they are) and dressing gowns are made from almost any material (sometimes not even opaque or warming to wear!)

Pyjamas and related

having the option of wearing the pj shirt open (maybe have a matching singlet underneath like many women's pjs come with irl - NOT NAKED - or maybe have the matching singlet available separately?),
having dressing gowns,
nightcaps,
slippers (just regular ones for the rest of us EDIT: love the cloud slippers more like that but available from stores in a variety of colours?),
wee-willy-winkee candlestick,
nightshirt (is there one?),
pillows (I have another thread about that - thanks [-trekkie-] for your help),
nightgowns,
teddy bear,
blankyt (not sure how they could do this one without it looking too much like the wind security blanket, but would love to see it if possible!)
sweet dreamers black robe
sweet dreamers black pajama bottoms
sweet dreamers black slippers , etc.

Rubber ducky (how could I forget?!) - cute yellow, 'evil' red
towels (see below),
shower caps,
scrubbing brush,
soap (and so noone else can waste our time with the joke; "Don't drop it!" rolleyes ), perhaps a with or without bubbles option for the soap,
shampoo bottle (with an option to have lather over the hair? Or),
swirl of shampoo "Lather, rinse, repeat"
salon styles "dripping-wet-look" hair and "all-in-a-lather" hair,
"why does it always rain on me?" shower head (Kind of like the rainy cloud pose but a shower head instead),
some way of making us dripping wet?,
"Wet look" / "Caught in the rain" clothing line?,
ferry/toy boats,
squirting fish toys,
soap crayons? (How would they do that one though),
wig made from a pile of bubbles with a yellow rubber ducky on top,
Curlers wig?
face mask (green) with cucumber-on-your-eyes (two items or one?) "This makes you pretty how?"
bath pillow
loofah
flannel/face washer,
toothbrush (with or w/o foam at the mouth),
shaving foam can (see bubbles),
razor (with shaving cream foam? - see bubbles)
puddle of water at feet (possibly a towel option?), etc


Towels

head towel
body towel (Torso down on female avatars, waist down on male)
"I can fly! (does not give ability to fly)" towel (cape - two options? Flying out behind or hanging down?)
toga towel (to hold us off until they do an actual toga item)
"DON'T PANIC!" Hitch hikers towel
Wet towel - puddle of water at feet
"Bull fight special" (holding the towel out like a toreador)


Bathroom housing

Bathmats (if you see my house you can see I tried to give the bathmat effect as best as was possible ... Thanks abonai for the link to my house - below),
washstand (that jug in a bowl thing if you're unsure),
towel rail,
mirror (that'd be an interesting challenge for housing/towns!),
an actual shower?,
more actual tile tiles?,
ornamental soap dish,
toothbrush holder, etc

Bubbles/lather

please note I am NOT, NOT, NOT suggesting and do not want anyone else to suggest anything that might be considered offensive such as naked avis with only bubbles hiding the privates unless a mod comes in and says it would be ok. Similarly I am not including bubble clothing unless a mods posts it is ok. I want this suggestion taken seriously.
EDIT: This doesn't matter anymore as the cloud has an option that covers the privates and looks bubbly enough to work.


lather in the hair, "All in a lather"?
bubbles here and there on the avi,
bubbles around the avi like the petal rain (winter rose), HUP, HUP? HUZZAH!
one giant bubble around the avi,
bubble pipe (not bath related but bubble related so I'm including it and ...),
bubble wand
shaving foam on the legs or face
shampoo in the eye (either foam in the the eye and maybe a scrunched up face or a very red eye and foam near it and on your hand?)"Aagh! My eye!"?
swirl of shampoo "Lather, rinse, repeat" in a variety of colours,
"Bubble attack!" sort of red bubbles sticking to your avi (would be interesting to see an edit of this)

The Edits



From left to right: The first towel edit by i_bonsai_i, the "ducky in the lather" edit by Xya (Seems to be VERY popular), Chemical induction's edit came from her own thread but she gave me permission to add it here as it is bubble related, Ezilabeth created three edits in one "Large green towel","dripping wet" and "foaming at the mouth", Contego's edit is great esp for guys and I hope to see it come in a variety of colours to suit everyone "sweet dreamers black robe", "sweet dreamers black pajama bottoms"and "sweet dreamers black slippers"


EDIT: To celebrate the slippers pose in the new cloud I thought I'd post the cloud cushion from the old pillows to hug thread as well as the other edits that smokeykat did for that thread as they are bedtime related. Hope you all like them.





The first was a prototype, the second was more plump and softer looking, the third and fourth were ideas for a pillow to match the wind security blanket (probably a donation item like the blanket itself), and the last was the cloud pillow "Lighter than air" ... or something.
