I have a question; would you be totally against
doing a newsletter layout? The look itself
is very similar to profiles what with different
sections and all (there would be no coding involved)?

And I know your slots are filled up, but I'm just wondering
if and when your slots open would you be up for something
like this? (:

in my school we have this house system (think Harry Potter);
and me and some friends were thinking that we should have
a newsletter since nobody else is doing it
sort of to "unite" the house in a way, kind of like a one
page newspaper where we just write about what's going
on in the house and "award/showcase" people who have
helped the house in various competitions and also maybe
recruit for upcoming contests.

see we have this noticeboard but me and my friends thought
it looked so cluttered with all the bulletins and whatnot
so that's how the newsletter idea sort of started from. xp
hope this makes sense sweatdrop

and at the moment I don't really have any examples in mind but
I really like your second sample (our houses are named after nobelprize winners
and the house I'm in is named after Marie Curie who did research
on radiation so our "theme" is science-y). whee

I've never done a newsletter style layout, so im a little iffy on how it would look
& how I can deliver the finished product to you. sad
'cause i'm sure you would wanna write some contents in it
& maybe add a small photo of people in your house

You mean you want it on a .doc file?
I made a science cover using photoshop.
I made it on 8.5*11 paper size & printed it out & it turned out exactly nice. :]

So if I design it, & save it as a .psd & send it to ya through megaupload, you can use your own photoshop & type in your contents using photoshop's Type Tool & print it out for your newsletter.

& Ill just group them into layers & folders so you can move stuff around if needed. :]

BUT! If I save it as an image, it'll be harder for you to edit it cause everything is permed.

How's that sound?
