i wanna know. what exactly are brushes and texture things? and i've always wanted to know, how
do you make the cursive/any type of fonts have colors on the inside or look cool and stuff? do you

gaia_crown Okay, so first off, brushes are basically things you stamp onto your graphics, you can use them for several different things, such as using them as silhouettes or just to make it look pretty and add finishing touches. Textures are used to make a picture look prettier, they add color and design, they basically add texture to the image to give it more depth and make it more interesting. The fonts are fairly simples, you just select a color, click the text tool, and type. If you want to make the text show the an image, your text must be black and have the image in another layer on top of it, you must use a different mode in order to see the image in the text, if that makes sense. Once you get Gimp, let me know and I'll help you with anything and everything and explain it all. c:

now i have a silly question; is editing images in stuff really hard orrr is it just hard to learn but

Layers are extremely important, I mean EXTREMELY. They play a HUGE part in making graphics. Don't forget that layers are your friends. (x
