I love elaborate stuff. Please do the background, it actually makes it easier for me to mesh stuff in for the profile.

Well, I was planning on doing most of a background. But I wouldn't be able to do a whole one. When I give you the file, the background of the background will be transparent [png file], and then you can mesh stuff in that way, right?

correct! png files are the best, saves me the stress of having to crop everything.

How seamless can you make it, so that I know how much I should or shouldn't do?

Just take out Detail, Last Login, move my avi to the left a little so the media a larger size of about the same height as my avi.
Also maybe take out the ignore button, and make the background around the Add, Trade, Mail buttons pure black.
Then maybe add a Journal button and lift the "Comments" label a bit so it doesn't stick to the borders.
Also, is that dragon on the top right your emblem? If not, delete it. You can also put in there that you made it.

@moshter: hmmm many of those changes would require me to remake the entire profile since i don't have the editable psd for it anymore. i would rather make a whole new profile.

Where Finn and Big Jim will be the centerpiece, there'll be a few shadow-like people in the background that're like, other circus workers.
