Did you do a texture overlay on it?
Friendly criticism} for the side bar try fading the drop shadow to a softer black maybe?

then change the opacity.

textures are way easy.
:3 The thing is you cant save it like the pattern.
Or at least that's not how i do it.
Like i said open the image as a new layer and change the opacity.
another perk of doing it that way you can drag the texture around to give it different looks.
