"Yazoo!" She cried, his own was very slight, but with his pain tolerance the sound spoke volumes. She knelt down next to him, able to see the blue spreading across his chest as she moved his head into her lap, brushing aside his hair as her face went pale.

"Don't do this..." Anzu said quietly, touching the side of his face with the back of her hand gently as she spoke. "Come on, don't act like an idiot and pretend your fine when we both know you're hurt. Yazoo don't, just don't... Tell me what happened to you. If you don't then I'll find someone who will. I'll find that stupid scientist, or Kadaj, or Loz, or somebody... Please, just tell me..."

*James watches Seirya, hoping that the pendant hadn't screwed up somehow which should be impossible but could probably still happen due to his current string of luck* Well Seirya?...

The figure bent down and started to poke the unconscious demon.

"Really? Was he strong? What powers did he have?"

"Well, did you attack them? I believe he was 'feeling nice' that day and was fighting only those who chose to fight him. So if you did not start a conflict then perhaps that is why he did not attack you"

It'll... all go away soon... Don't worry...

He winced, barely managing to speak, the scars stretching across his torso painfully. The hand which she had removed the glove from started to show traces of these scars, the blue marks snaking up to his fingertips, moving over the black tattoo upon his pale flesh.

...It's... Geostigma... A disease... Caused by the planets life force... Our contact with Mother has caused it to show through alot more strongly... Just forget about it... Don't worry for me... It's something I've had all my life...

Yazoo's words trailed off, fading slightly upon his last word, not wanting to continue any further. The last thing he wanted her to know right now was how short his time was, and he wasn't about to stress her any further with this matter. Realising how worried she was for him just over a simple fall, and a few scars, he couldn't possibly imagine what she would be like finding out he was dying.

Seirya cocked her head so one eye looked at James, comprehension dawning in it. She raised a paw towards him and barked, then realised he wouldn't be able to understand. A small whine could be heard, probably her version of a sigh, and she lowered the paw again. Closing her eyes, she concentrated.
For a moment, she was completely still except for the twitching of her tail behind her, then... James? Souloe? I think it worked. I think I'm sane, at least. The words whispered through their heads, gaining strength as she grew more confidant. She opened her eyes to look at them both, the familiar amber looking unusual in the fox's face.

He was weak. It was a pathetic demon to say the least.

Ryushu doesn't bother to look up, simply opening his eyes and staring at the ground rather boredly.

Anzu grabbed his hand again as she noticed the blue lines crawling across his skin, she looked even more pale as she watched it, not letting go as she brought it closer to her instead; threading her fingers in between his as she leaned over him worriedly.

"I've told you plenty of times not to worry about me and you haven't listened, why should I turn around and listen to you?" She said softly, not believing him at all as she used her other hand to gently comb through his long hair for a moment. His blue eyes looked so different to her, they were still his but seeing them the wrong colour just helped her to see just how serious this was.

Uh huh. And I have the weird urge to just go and catch rabbit. She shook herself, although she wasn't wet. Then another puff of smoke, and she appeared as her normal, elfin self.
"I think that's enough for one day." she hands him back the pendant. "That's given me some food for thought, so I ahve to go. Later James, Souloe!" she dropped from the branch and disappeared into the forest.
