Welcome to Fairend Skye Mercenary Corps!

- - - ----Intro-

Fairend Skye, a newly formed mercenary corp, is run by the Headmistress, Shizuka, and her longtime friend Zander. Hovering in the sky above a dense forest is the organization; below inside the middle of a forest lies the entrance to the city above.
Within the Fairend ground lie your basic facilities: the school buildings, food court, library, parking lot, training areas, etc.

NOTICE:: ~****A map of the academy is placed under the doors of all new students: FAIREND SKYE.****~
There are 4 levels.
The Headmistress's & SkyeGuardian's offices and rooms are located
on level 4 in the corner closest to the library. All other staff members'
rooms and offices are on levels 1-4.
The infirmary is located on the 3rd & 4th floors in the center of the building
(which would be above the food court; there is an elevator next to a set
of stairs that leads directly from the first floor to the infirmary, reserved
for hospital use only).
Starting from the center of the building and working in rings outwards: the food
court and infirmary, then classrooms and virtual training rooms, the hallways,
then faculty offices and bedrooms adjoined to them.
Students are in their own separate dorm building, but it is connected via bridge
on levels 2 & 3.

The purpose of Fairend Skye Mercenary Corps is to help those in need, for a price of course, and we won't take jobs that are unreasonable.

There are three cities that surround Fairend Skye, all located on the ground beneath outside of the forest: Mianne, Everia, and Entera. These cities are places you can hang out in besides Fairend Skye, and where a lot of the jobs given out will be located. In Everia resides Fairend's rival group, an evil organization and an alternate school.

- - - ----Story Line-

Mercenaries are supposed to do any job for pay without questions right? Well, Fairend Skye Mercenaries have a little requirement - we won't do jobs that will result in unnecessary collateral damage or put innocent lives at risk.
Some students at Fairend have a problem with this standard, and have been kicked out of the city for trying to convince students to go against this code. Wanting revenge, the students have gone to Everia and told the government that Fairend Skye has been plotting an attack against them. Everia has now sent their own student mercenaries in disguise as new students amongst the ones at Fairend Skye to get close to the staff and destroy them.

1- Must be at least semi-literate. We want to be able to understand what your character is saying or doing. Try your best with spelling (absolutely no chat speech), use markings to differentiate between speech and actions if you need to. ***For Out of Context speech, use the thread provided here: OOC Thread.***

2- Short posts are permitted. HOWEVER, they must be able to be replied to unless your character is going inactive.

3- Don't quote posts over 3 times please. If you're quoting a long post, don't do this over 2 times. And don't quote the front page.

4- NO God-modding (automatic hits, never getting hit, etc.). First offence is a warning, second is possible blacklisting. And unless someone gives you the "OK", you aren't allowed to kill anyone.

5- Try to keep the swearing to a minimum; we don't want to read swears every other word in a post.

6- Romance is allowed. NO cybering though. You will be reported.

7- You are allowed to play more than one character. Use something like font color, for example, to distinguish between your characters. You must post multiple applications, one for each character you would like to play. Refer to next two posts for where to submit applications.

8- If you start something in the RP, such as a fight or conversation, and you don't reply within a day (exception being if you told someone you would be gone for a period of time), the other person has the right to end it and continue in the RP - no "but"s.

9- *** If you are gone for over two weeks since your last post in the thread and didn't let Shizuka know that you would be absent, your profile will be marked in red and you will have a day to post before I delete your character. If you wish to rejoin, PM me (Shizuka) your profile and actually be active.

10- *** Your main character can now be an Everian and it doesn't have to be an undercover student at Fairend Skye. If not undercover though, they have to stay in the mainland cities as there is no other way they can get into Fairend. Missions will be assigned by Shizuka or Zander (not our characters, one of us).

11- *** If you want to quit the RP that's fine, BUT -- you MUST PM me, Shizuka, to let me know. Seriously, it makes everything easier. There's nothing more annoying than sitting around for someone when it turns out they're never going to show up again.

Name: Shizuka Tensui; Shizu; "White Wolf" (Shizuka Tensui)
Position: Headmistress

Appearance: Shizuka; About 6 foot tall, often wears bright colors paired with either black or white; Black wolf paw print tattoo on her right arm.
Bio: Shizuka was the first born to Azkedelia and Jacobi Tensui, an upper-class couple living in a two-story home in the outskirts of Mianne near the forest on a large plot of land. Her father worked for the Everian government until she was 4, quitting because they demanded he go on a suicide mission, saying his job was more important than family and that they would kill his wife and daughter otherwise; Jacobi was and is still known for his ferocity throughout Everia, though he wants nothing to do with them now. Shizuka was joined by her little brother Ichirou when she was 2, and both of them were later trained by her father to use various weapons and fighting styles, as well as control their wolf forms. When she was 15, her brother fell in the river without her knowledge and was thought to have drowned, her parents blaming her for the death of their son. She ran away from home after that, and about a year or two later to the newly opened Fairend Skye and was chosen to be trained to become the Headmistress, keeping in touch with her parents until she was 19 but never telling them where she had gone. While at the academy, she completed many dangerous, life-threatening missions with her long-time friend and team mate, Zander Kurasai; during this time she became known as the White Wolf throughout the school, not only because her wolf form was white, but because in battle she was as fierce and as swift as a wolf no matter who she was against. Upon turning 20, she was given the position as Headmistress at Fairend Skye when the headmaster retired and has been running it since then, adding only one rule so the school would not be the same as it's merciless rival, Everia. Polite and compassionate most of the time, Shizuka can and will turn harsh in a number of ways when herself or someone she's close to is threatened.

Bio: Hiro Senju, Your average Instructor, But, Rarely seen. He is very strict when it comes to training, But, When he is off duty, He is a laid-back type of guy, During a job, He is very precise and likes to run in even without being fully evaluated. He has short term memory loss, But, With only important details, Something he solved himself by writing memos. His motto to live is "To the extreme"; Often shouted. He is obviously a boxer, Thus, Explaining the Sereno Gloves. Referring to his title, The reason why he was given one in the first place was because of his ring, The flame that it emits is pretty much harmless, But, used for power-up or healing purposes, The motto given with his title was "The Sun, The one which illuminates the sky". Hiro had been a Fairend Skye Member since a fairly young boy, Being very active and wanting to show justice to evil doers, His family were the ones who inspired him to become a Student of Fairend Skye in the first place, They all had suffered at least once from strangers, It was either rape or assault, His three sisters all had lost their virginities at the ages of 14 to rapists even his mother, For some reason, It was Hiro who found and saved his siblings, His father on the other hand, Was an innocent guy until he was assaulted by six men who wanted him dead, Hiro was also the one to save him(Oh wow.. This guy is like uber hero). Hiro was over-protective of his family, Wanting to shed the "Over" part down by becoming a student of Fairend Skye. He earned his respect through battle with the former best boxer in Fairend Skye, Thus, Earning him respect through the whole ship and academy. Hiro also is rarely seen, Due to the fact that he takes high-risk and high ranked missions that take three months or more to accomplish, But, If he got lazy or just wanted to stay home, He'd take average jobs, He oftenly sleeps on the job.

Bio: Liv was always quite until one day she snapped. She wants to be the best fighter in history. Liv is always hard on herself, and is dedicated to perfecting her art.

Appearance: Mako is taller than your average student, and exceedingly thin. He has a light skin tone, blue eyes and darkest-blue hair, spiked upwards. He wears a white button-up armless shirt with a light blue sash, dark blue tight gloves that go all the way up to his biceps, baggy dark blue shorts wrapped around with light blue cloth, and white/blue boots. He also wears a white headband, with two pointy flaps that fall past the ears. A hastily-drawn pic to complement the description.
Bio: Born inside a rich family, Mako Date was shunned by his parents his whole life, for being an unwanted extra kid. Forced to do every house chore while his brothers had it easy, he eventually burst with rage and fled home at night, alisting himself at Fairend Skye at age 8. While thin and fragile-looking, he possessed uncommon strength, specializing in blunt weapons while still maintaining a decent agility. Always shy and reserved, Mako maintained his distance from other students, especially girls, and few even know his name on the whole academy. He even petitioned for a single bed dorm and won, further isolating himself from other students. Mako is a man of few words, but deep and polite regardless of who he's talking with. Mako is highly favored by teachers for his inherent leader traits, though he is unsure if he could even guide a band of kids around, let alone a mercenary group.

Bio: Aiden is one of those guys with both brains and brawn; he forged his weapons himself when he was still living in Mianne, being the son of a blacksmith. He trained every day for several years, then he finally decided to put his skills to use and showed up at Fairend Skye. Aiden may look tough, but beneath that exterior is a shy yet friendly guy.

Bio: Yumato had come from a rich family. He was used to hard training but was treated lenient by his mother. Thus over-riding his fathers punishments and whatnot- Yumato had become strong willed, and strong armed. Having no feelings of anger from being beaten, he had a knack for helping people. When he became older, he registered as an active Mercenary for the money. He refused money form his parents as he wished to show them he could make it on his own. He was doing rather well, when a specific mission came up. He was working with a swordmaster who had an arsenal of 10 blades at his disposal. He seemed to be a neutral judged man. No care in his eyes, but had pride in his finesse and style. Unfortunately, something happened within that mission and they were separated. Last Yumato knew... Krauze Vanderheil had died that day. Not too long after, Yumato's parents had disappeared. Yumato had no idea who had done, it in fact he hadn't realized they were missing for 4 months. He kept to himself so much so dire to prove himself to them, that he didn't visit or keep in contact often... He regretted it, but he also felt it may have been safer for them since he was a merc... Many would want ot harm him and they would just be targets against his heart... He had no idea... Now with them gone... he started traveling the world looking for hints... clues... anything to lead him to their killer. Upon entering another mission he was sent to another world. Here he was to aid a separate mercenary group called Fairend Skye Knights. He currently found himself welcomed, but has not spoke of his past, before arrival to the group, to anyone.

Appearance: Ray stands around 6'3", usually wearing a pair of non-perscription glasses because he thinks they make him look more interesting.
Bio: Ray is, simply put, a spoiled, pampered rich brat, who's parents passed away and left him a great fortune. He is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He cares not for the well-being or opinion of other human beings, and he views anyone who was born with the immense misfortune of not being him, as a lesser being. He has zero family ties, due to his parents having the same temperment in life as Ray, and severing all bonds with their dreadfully not rich relatives - not that Ray would actually care to mingle with such peasants. Nevertheless (though his pampered background might not suggest so), he is capable of utilizing each weapon in his arsenal with deadly skill. Since childhood, he was fascinated by weaponry, and the precise and beautiful art of destroying other human lives, and being that both of his parents had passed away before his 7th birthday, he was left with loads and loads of money to hire all the most professional trainers and weapons instructors to make him into a killing machine, henceforth bringing the fantasies of a slightly disturbed child to life. By the age of 17, he pretty much had everything he wanted. Except the ability to satiate the burning desire to finally be able to utilize the skills he had obtained through years of theoretical practice. Acting upon this impulse, Ray took it upon himself to abandon his parents' estate and servants, and sign up to become a Trainee at Fairend Skye. The only trouble facing him is that he might not be as skilled as he regards himself to be.

Bio: Nas, Renowned to be one of the strongest men throughout Fairend Skies and it's history, He was elected to become the next headmaster, But, Instead, He left few years before that had happened, Reason, Unknown. Nas was the most respected trainer who is still alive, He trained Hiro, Shizuka and Even Zander. Whilst in his prime, He could take on just about the three of them all together and not break a sweat. He was well-adapted with his katana, Having the ability to slice even air in half. He was trained by the former headmaster himself, Proving to be one of the strongest in his early stages as he was able to match the head master while he was at 100%. He was once elected to become headmaster, Instantaneously rejecting the offer, Feeling that he was not ready. Since that day, He and his comrades had taken dangerous missions, One by One, Each comrade passed away, K.I.A. Nas soon decided to leave the Academy, Abandoning all he owned back in Fairen and travel around the world for the next 5 years, Only now had he returned from the trip, Settling in Mianne.

You can also apply to be one of the faculty or 'undercover' students at/from Everia. I will only allow a certain number of people to play as Everians, since Fairend Skye is the actual RP.
At the moment, there can be a total of 8 Everian characters; open positions include 4 Trainees (Atleast 1 Must be Undercover) and 1 Instructor. The amount of openings will change depending on the amount of Fairend Skye characters we have.
Unless you receive a mission elsewhere, your characters have to stay in Everia or the other two mainland cities, there is no way they can enter Fairend Skye without being enrolled as an 'undercover' student there.
Whether your character is at Fairend's or Everia's academy, they're Everian so they will be listed here.

Bio: Senki Sarasate, A man who uses his blade to conjure water into it and drowning people within a single swing. Senki, One of Everia's most dangerous and elite soldiers and one who seems to be dumb at that. Although he is a Everia Guardian, He does not take it seriously and only thinks of it as a learning game, After hearing of the planned attack on Fairend Skye, He was interested, He was going to enjoy tearing that academy apart. Senki also is well-aware of who Hiro Senju is, They went to the same school together and were in a same class, Although, They considered each other enemies, Well, He considered Hiro a threat since Hiro stole his girlfriend, Or so he thought. Between Hiro and Senki, It's like yin and yang, One was nice and polite, The other one, Mean and cocky.

Bio: Ichirou was born two years after his sister Shizuka. Being a male in the family, his wolf form's coat was black like his father's, Jacobi. At the age of 13, he was out by the river in the woods behind their home with his sister; getting too close to the river's edge, Ichirou fell in and Shizuka wasn't there to pull him out in time before he'd traveled too far down the river to be seen. He blacked out and the next thing he knew, the only thing he knew from that point on, was that Everia was his "true home," being carried back to safety by Everian soldiers who would train him in their merciless ways. Vowing to get revenge on his unsuspecting sister whom he believes let him drown in the cold waters that fall afternoon, Ichirou's body has been restored after his first encounter with Shizuka who tossed him over Fairend's edge.

Bio: Krauze has had quite a life. He became quite the swords master at the young age, of just 13. Ever since he had been doing anything and everything as a hired mercenary. He didn't care if it was for good or bad. Money was money, and he didn't care how dirty it was. On one specific mission, that involved Yumato Hiroshin, something had happened. Something bad... Yumato was left to go free, but Krauze... was not so lucky. Ever since, he had the blackest of hearts... the darkest of intents... and the evilest of plans. Yumato was number one of his plans to destroy, and anything involved with Yumato, intentional or not, temporary or permanent, was directly after, as number 2 for deaths. He already scratched off Yumato's immediate family, but seemed to always get the lower hand when getting to Yumato himself. Now he learned of Fairend, where Yumato was now residing.

Bio: Kagero Date is Mako's eldest brother. Ever since he was a young child, he posessed inhuman strength and intelligence, being highly favored by their father Malgus. Although he ignored his father's pleas to study, his natural intelligence and cunning character made him the priority heir to the family's wealth. After his father passed away recently, he inherited everything, and now rules over his brothers and servants with an iron fist. Kagero is a master of Time Magic, able to stop enemies in their tracks, speed up his own movements and even distort the time plane, with lethal results.

Bio: Vince was raised in Entera, unlike most people in the small city he was rich. His father worked for the Everian Army which gave his family protection and an unlimited income. Vince grew up seeing the poor and struggling regularly, it never phased him anymore he had no sympathy. One his 18th birthday, eligible woman from all over the city came and tried to win his heart. One girl captured his heart, her name was Olivia Kian. He liked her for the simple fact that she didn't care about anyone, or anything.Liv was not interested in him, she had ran away and her family spread the story that Fairende Skyes had kidnapped her to get back at the family, he demanded she was to be returned to her, but to no avail. He's since lost his wealth from his father and spends his days training, to get back the girl he loves.

Based upon your ranking at Fairend Skye, you get certain benefits and have certain responsibilities within the RP. These are the same for Everian characters.

Headmistress:
-runs Fairend Skye
-makes rules & regulations
-finds missions and forms groups for them
-teaches classes

SkyeGuardian:
-Second-In-Command; helps run Fairend Skye
-helps make rules and regulations
-teaches classes

Instructors:
-teach classes
-if told to do so, will accompany groups on missions
-may lead mission groups

SkyeKnights:
-lead mission groups most of the time
-may choose to teach classes (only with headmistress approval)
-can also join training sessions if they wish; otherwise, training is on their own time
-still have to attend regular classes (classroom stuff)

Trainees:
-must obey commands of all personnel above them
-are assigned to certain missions by the headmistress only
-attend training and regular classes
-are only allowed to graduate to level of SkyeKnight after a full background check,
and multiple battles with random staff members that will test every area they've been trained in

Zander on a hilltop near his office overlooking the water, his green duster and his brown hair swaying in the wind. The Mercenary corps had just recently been open but he was already getting impatient, he needed something to do, just then it clicked in his mind. "I should go meet Shizuka in the front. She's probably excited about the opening, hell maybe we even have a job lined up..." He turned around and made his way back into his office.

Zander's office was a pale shade of white with pictures of his former clientèle on the walls. He never did understand why they'd want to take pictures with him, maybe they thought he'd lower his prices. He chuckled just then and made his way to the lobby.

[Shizuka Tensui]

The Headmaster was on her way to the front of the school, walking down one of the hallways of Fairend Skye. "Finally, after all this planning and construction, we're open." Shizuka was excited, to say the least, and was hoping that sometime today the first job would show up. She was itching to do something, even though she ran everything in Fairend, with the help of Zander of course, which was quite a bit of work, it wasn't always as exciting as it could be.

Shizuka's white ears perked up as she heard voices farther down the hall. Her white tail swaying behind her and her heeled boots making a click as she walked, she met Zander on his way to the front, hopefully to welcome new students and faculty. The woman was always polite, but everyone knew not to let that fool them into thinking she was a total softy; she was the head of a school for mercenaries for a reason.

"Excited, Zander?" she asked with a smile, smoothing out her fancy white blouse.

[[Okey dokey. Fine with me, I'm filling out job apps anyway. :p ]]

[Nero Of Night]

He smirked as he saw Shizuka. "I guess so, it'd be better if we had a job lined up or some students to pick on...I mean teach...." He let his eyes lie as the rest of him looked sincere. He swung around Shizuka and placed his arm on her shoulder. "Whats with the fancy get-up? You tryin' to impress someone Shizu?" He chuckled and cracked his neck.

"Though I feel sorry for the fool who hits on you, poor sap won't know what hit 'em...Though....it'd be really interesting to watch...yeah I wouldn't mind seeing...okay maybe I would we'd probably lose money after the hell you'd put them through." He gave a hearty laugh and removed his arm from Shizuka's shoulder, and sat on the edge of the fountain in the middle of the lobby.

Shizuka laughed. "Hey, there's no problem with wanting to look nice the first day now is there?" she replied, her tail twitching behind her as she heard Zander talk about someone trying to hit on her. It certainly wouldn't be a first; she smiled as she thought of the embarrassment she caused the last guy that hit on her.
"But you are right; that would be an interesting situation, at least for me it would be... Oh, what fun. They'll be wishing they hadn't done it." An evil smirk crossed her face as she giggled slightly, then put her hand on her hip.
"Now, where to start. I know there are new students around here somewhere, they must be hiding from us."

Amora stood infront of the ornate school buildings. Their structures towered over her, threatening to crush her, if one small chip of rock failed. It sent shivers down her spine. The buildings, here, were just as beautiful as those from Everia, but of a completely different style, and impossible to map out in her head just by looking at them.

She thought back: Her grandmother was sat in her rickety wheechair, with a hole-ridden blanket over her lap. The house smelled of human excrement, and mice were chirruping in the walls. All the curtains were yanked shut, and stacks and piles of general parafanalia clung to all the walls. 'Don't ruin this, like everything else I've given you, incompetant child! Remember, don't go lurking around until after the first mission you're sent on. Keep you're wits about you. And if you come home without succeeding you're not my Granddaughter. Now leave! I'm sick of the sight of you!' Her grandmother had a habit of spitting when she spoke, especially when she was angry. Mo give her grandmother a polite kiss on the cheek before leaving, though she said nothing. She didn't trust her voice to not quiver.

Remember, don't go lurking around until after the first mission you're sent on. Yes, ma'am! Supposing that she should go about an average day in the life of a student in Fairend Skye, she moved onto the training grounds, feining curiosiy about the curriculum.

"Here we go, the first student we've seen all day." Shizuka smiled at Zander, then looked to the girl who was roaming about near the front of the building on the training grounds, appearing lost and in thought as, no doubt, many of the other students would when she saw them.

Walking towards the girl was a tall woman dressed in a white blouse, blue jeans, and black heeled boots with long white hair, green eyes, and an unmistakable pair of white wolf ears and matching tail. Extending her hand as she came within feet of the girl, the Headmistress gave a friendly smile, "Hello and Welcome to Fairend Skye! I'm the headmistress, Shizuka Tensui."

The hand was proffered at her without a moments thought, but her first impulse was to salute. Her body muscles twitched to the upright position, but she held it back. I'll have to work on the saluting thing... She knew if she drew a smile across her face now, it would look forced, so she left her features blank as she shook Head Mistress Shizuka's hand. "Very pleased to meet you, ma'am. My name is Amora and I'm glad to be here." A slight smile crossed Mo's face when she said the final comment, which sent her mind into a spiral of panic, until she realised she actually was glad to be away from that hell hole.
