Curry seemed hopeless to Kaori. She messed around a bit with her pencil for a momment before she noticed a timer ticking on her hand. Grabbing Curry's hand to see if he had one too, she dropped her pad. 'Sixty minutes or face erasure', she read the message over in her head. She picked up the pad and started to write quickly. There was plenty of time left, but Kaori didn't want to get caught up in any brawls. She gave the pad to Curry and it read, "We gotta make it to 104 before the time on our hands' runs out. Let's go!!"

Idiot, Curry thought, How could I NOT notice something like this!? It was true that when he was busy with something, he tended not to notice anything else, but a timer printed on his hand? Before he had time to think anything else, Kaori thrust her notebook into his arms. She had quickly scrawled "We gotta make it to 104 before the time on our hands' runs out. Let's go!!" across the page. "Sounds like a plan!" Curry agreed. It wouldn't be too hard, considering that they could see the building from where they were now.

They had waisted a bit of time, but not getting caught up in shenanigans would be hard, but Kaori had known forever where 104 is. She made a gesture to Curry to come with her. She moved her feet slowly forward waiting for Curry. At least it's only day one of this, Kaori thought, only a few more and things will go back to normal.

(Is Kaori aware that she's dead? I think Curry should be. Though I'm not sure how he should die yet.)

Curry followed behind Kaori. He felt weighted down by troubling thoughts. He had so many questions and not a single answer. Why had he woken up here, in Shibuya? Why couldn't anyone but Kaori see him? And the one question that caused him the most grief, is Masami okay? But what's most important now, is that I make it through this week.

Curry glanced at Kaori. And besides, I'm not in this alone.

(I think that she'd be aware of how the Reaper's Game works, but she refuses to think that she's dead. Kaori died in a fire, maybe Curry pissed off someone and they' jumped him?)

As the two partners went into the area where the 104 department store was, Kaori checked her hand. All clear. What do we do now? Lets just hope that the missions are this easy the rest of the week. Kaori looked at all the people, going about their busy life. Such diversity Shibuya had, although there were a few people that had appeared nuts to those with normal lives.

"That's it?"Seeing as this was a matter of life and death, Curry has expected their mission to be a bit more challenging. His thoughts were suddenly interuped by soft laughter from behind him.

"Well we can't have ALL of you player dieing on the first day. That would ruin the fun." Curry spun around to see a girl, who didn't look much older that him, with sholder-length purple hair and wearing a black lacey dress. On her back were a pair of strange-looking wings.

I guess so, Kaori thought as she shrugged her shoulders. After she left her shoulders at ease, she looked behind her with Curry and looked at the girl standing there. Noticing the wings, Kaori wondered what the trends were like these days. It just seemed like more than a fashion statement.

For a moment, Curry expected Kaori to say something. OF course, he then remembered that she couldn't even if she wanted to. "Who're you? "He asked the girl. She fixed her yellow eyes on him. "I am Yuuki Takahashi. I am to be the GM this week. I thought, I would introduce myself..."The sound of her voice sent chills up Curry's spine. "Well, I won't take up any more of your time. Try your hardest to stay alive over then next few days. I'll look forward to seeing you on on day seven..." Curry blinked, and she was gone. "That was...weird." he commented.
