The pay is often the only thing that gets me though. But with Gaia commissions... blah! I can't buy anything with Gaia money that I actually really want, I need real money, but the only commishes I get in real life are things I don't even want to bother with (really boring s**t for $~15, not even worth my time). I'd rather do something interesting, possibly more time-consuming, and hopefully for more money than that.
I only have my Gaia shop open because sometimes I get really bored, and currently I have an open refusal policy so I just don't do a commish if I don't think I'll enjoy it, regardless of pay. I'm not even bumping it at the moment. And real-life... I don't have a commission page open or anything.
I'm terrible at advertising and making money xD;

I'm happy because I can use Gaia gold to buy art. You should see my walls, they're covered with art that I've bought over the years (And Mew has even more).

But even if it's a little difficult, I still like making dolls because it's just something I like to do. And I enjoy looking at the finished prouduct and thinking "a year ago, I would have thought this was impossible". And then I'm in a good mood for the rest of the day n_n

Eh, I don't care much for art of my OCs or for art I find on this site in general :/ There are a few pretty good artists here, but if I am going to put art on my walls, I'd rather get something even better, something that inspires me. I have a few prints like that <3 I haven't put them up though, I'm afraid of damaging them.

And I agree, doing difficult/challenging things is fun, although unfortunately I never get the "it would have been impossible" feeling because nothing is impossible xP Some things just take more effort.

I need to run x_o; Almost late to physics recitation, wahhhh.
