★ I have chronic migraines. It basically feels like my brain is going to explode. sweatdrop Luckily I grew out of the extreme nausea as I got older but I still have super hearing. Which is really annoying when I get a migraine at someone's house and they have the tick tick clocks. It has to be absolutely quiet when I have a bad one.
I'm part of a test program at the best hospital in my state so I get to try new treatments and they use my charts for medical classes and stuff.

I literally have a migraine every single day. I can't say that I ever wake up and I'm truly pain free. But most days it's really manageable and I can function normally, and others I have to take my shots and iv's and rotate ice packs all day.

One of my friends has that too : x He misses a lot of school and gets really grumpy easily sometimes. That sounds absolutely horrible ugh D : what causes it? Is it just genetic?

★ In some cases it can be genetic. No one in my family has ever had it as severe as me so they aren't really sure that causes it.
I have a lot of triggers; most are foods but there are smells and sometimes sounds.

Usually funny smell candles, especially if I walk into a room and it was already burning since I'm just hit in the face with the smell. It's not so bad sometimes if I light it and then stay in the room. Most cleaning smells are really bad, and some food smells.
Bright lights don't really make it worse. If I already have a migraine then I just want complete darkness. I would say that it is just really annoying.

I really want some cookies now. xD
