Welcome to Gaia! ::

On the hybrid subject- I thought that being a Kyre one would find both methods of feeding natural. A lot just prefer the other.

I don't know about you guys, but I call myself officially a psy-V and I'm "over-satisfied" with it. Though if I get blood in my mouth somehow I get this crazy spirit about me. I like it waaaaay too much and I want more, I might attack a friend just to get (and I have in unconspicuous ways). Which is one of the reasons why I stick to being psy... I scare myself. Even thinking about tasting blood right now has brought this scary "predator" self out of me right now- now I'm shaking for feeling that way, see what I mean?

But I am still satified with Psy-feeding. Could it just be natural that Vyres can feed on both, but they have a prefference?

I was purely an astral feeder until I learned how to psi-feed while awake, then went from psi and astral to psi (anything from straight core energy, emotional energy, sexual etc), astral, and blood... which is my current 'diet'. So, I'm a hybrid that went from being a pure energy feeder to needing both non-physical and physical sources. So you had it backwards razz

Personally, I don't really believe blood feeders can go running on purely non-physical sources, but that could just be me..

Ah, thanks for clearing that up smile

This was remade! mrgreen

Sorry to throw that in. Just celebrating.

To Miizturi - I'm still not used to applying the word 'vampire' to myself. It's a sort of uncomfortable word for me to use, but I really don't know how else to get a point across having to do with it.

Odd thing happened to me a couple days ago. One of my friends has a little sister around four or so, and she came up to me and said straight up, "You're a vampire." Just like, standing there, being fully serious. It sort of freaked me out. She was walking around the whole day telling people I'm a vampire-coyote, but they couldn't see my coyote part.
I heard something that little kids can sometimes tell, but I sort of think she was just messing around.

As to the coyote thing - I'm lost.

That's not good, you should have faith in your own kind.

Speaking of which, I came across an interesting entry in my dad's journal about his misadventures of a Vampire in Vietnam as he went from Viet Services to an escape camp. I'll post it after I translate it all.

For hybrids, it can be preference. But for none hybrids, it's either an inability or lack of satisfaction (meaning, it's not what they need).
A question, because I don't think it is normal... but, what does blood taste like to you?
For me- It taste like sugary syrup candy... and thinking about it, that's a little odd... Does all blood taste like that or is it just me? I thought blood should taste more... I don't know, "icky-ish"?
I'm serious too, it taste like something close to a donut which only makes the craving harder because it's sweet confused

I know what you mean. Except I don't like donuts.... But like, some kind of really amazing food that you just can't stop eating.

I don't know what people complain about when they get a cut in their mouth or something.

How many different people have you fed from?
Some people have sugary blood, because they eat more sugar than they probably should. *coughnotmethoughcough*

How many people? About twelve.
Most of those were friends who I uncunspicuously made bled
(*cough* shoved and scrape knee/elbow *cough**cough* "kissed" booboo *cough* *cough**cough*)...
@ Gracie. Thats kind of like what just happened to me today about being called out randomly xD. My mum just had an operation and at the moment has a draining bottle connected to her to drain the blood from the wound from the incision out. Later on she turned to me and said "You better not sneak into my room tonight and make me catch you drinking that.." looking at the bottle of blood..

Just felt like i was being teased crying ("LOOK AT THE BLOOD!! SMELL IT !!!.. BUT YOU CANT HAVE IT HAHAHAH!" )

Yeah.....

@ OP: Will Jungian Psychology EVER be added as a POSSIBILITY for explaining vampirism? I mean, It's only been suggested for years, yet dismissed as though it couldn't possibly be true for anyone here.

Am I being ignored?

Could be a possibility. I would have to look into it more to have a proper opinion on it though.

Wiki's article can give you a decent basis for it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungian_psychology

Basically, though, it's still a part of psychology, so the question boils down to, do you think some cases of vampirism are purely psychological. (This is whether you have been evaluated or not; I know some of you claim to have seen a psychologist.)

A psychological case of vampirism can still be empowering, and is still a lifestyle and not necessarily something to be ashamed of. It could be willful or deeply ingrained so that will is not a factor; The psychological case just 'is' and may possibly never be remedied.

I realize that most of you don't believe your cases are psychological, but I'm merely asking if the possibility would be recognized, since the OP claims vampirism is 'mostly unexplained by science,' whereas Jungian psychological analysis can clearly spell out a psychological phenomenon in some 'vampiric' cases.
