The bible is not the word of God as it can be easily interpreted as something else. Plus there are tons of books that you dont know about that also claimed to be the word of God. Books that only the Pope has access to and books that are taken off store shelves because Xians are too afraid that they are wrong, that what they believe is wrong. The bible is carefully put together so that you will be dellusioned in giving up your individuality and your money.

Christianity, if I remember correctly, started because of inequality of classes in...Rome?
Jesus declared himself as the Messiah.
People flocked to it because it gave them hope and explained things back THEN that we couldn't explain with science.

can brothers and sisters marry?

well adam and eve when they had kids there kids were the only ones so they had to have gotten married right?

...yeah i kinda thought about that as well (before i heard that on reba) but my question is
isnt insest wrong according to the bible? well adam and eves children were the only ones so they had to have done something to keep the humen race going....
theres more little things like that that i just dont get ...dont relaly feel like saying them right now...

Its simple really. I have thoughts. Faith requires you to have blind devotion. I think. Its just beyond me that anyone would believe in god much less fight wars over it. Its like saying my imaginary friend is better then yours.

People have a ard time believe because those who have had a hard like don't understand why. If there is a god up there wouldn't he try and better those ho have like nothing? I've tried so many times to believe in God, but only just asking myself why all the time. I believe there might be a higher power up there but not just God himself/herself

Adam and Eve were the first humans, but not the only ones.

Because finding a logical explanation for the existence of something like God is impossible? And when it comes to looking for explanations, I don't particularly like trying to find non-existent logic in things that transcend logic.
