@Felissimo: I probably wouldn't think the note was for me either and a few people in the past pages have also mentioned that finding a note like that anywhere probably wouldn't make them feel any better about themselves. Some felt they would just wonder who or what was behind the message. But I guess everyone will react differently to different things.

Yeah I agree. Perhaps it would be more meaningful it were more personalized somehow.

I usually try to compliment people whenever I get the chance, not just on appearance. Haha now that I think about it, most of my compliments aren't on their appearance since I don't wanna make it seem like I like them if it's the opposite gender. I like to take notice of their talents and abilities.. a lot of times they don't even notice it themselves till I mention it.

This is the third time I've seen someone use a marathon to advertise OB and I've loved seeing it every time.

One of the first comments we got on this thread was something along the lines of, "I can't believe you're choosing to focus on self-esteem when cancer isn't cured yet!" and I was like, why can't we do both? o_O Every time I see a marathon picture I remember that. xd

We actually talked about that last week! biggrin While I agree that nothing tops personalized compliments, not everyone can get in on that game, ya know? I like the sticky-note idea because I know it touches at least a few people and because I'm pretty shy right now.

Jade is putting together a New Years project where we take what we're good at and we do it for the thread.
