help! what, when, how do I evolve a kin? please?

Starter kinss are the only ones that can evolve. And they do so at level 15, you have to spend 100 of your own skill level points to evolve it.

thank you...only stagony past level 15, so will up the others..do you know when the eggs become un-soul-bound?

I think the some of the ones you get from rigs and Lucky are the only ones that are unsoulbound. If you want to get rid of extras you can sell them from the all tab of your inventory though.

I have no clue, Ive been playing since it came out but I dont trust going after the tree. Id think you would want a lot of healing potions. Possibly use a kin that can paralyze or sleep it. That stops it from attacking for a few turns. Poison could help. Its only about half of its level points taken each turn but it could add up quickly. A good strategy would be to keep it from attack, not because it hits hard(I dont remember) but because you want it out long enough to get a chunk of damage done. Also with using the special attacks you would probably need a lot of mana potions.
