Just started playing LK. It's pretty fun. I got my very first kin egg drop yesterday XD
Not really sure what else to level up after my Echo.
To be honest the RIGs are what have me addicted to the game. Everything is so expensive for a newbie so getting stuff to dress my character up makes it super fun hehe. After I put my echo to sleep I go and check out all the cool new items I've got. Then it's back to playing.
Any suggestions on what to level up after echo?

Yep; all the free RIGs are where it's at. Have you been jumping around the different areas? Most of them offer a really nice variety of RIGs. This guide shows the different things that drop in the different areas, this one is for the most recent area (Land of Sweets).
So Echo is...actually kind of weak now. sweatdrop All of the starters are, simply because it's been over a year since the game first came out, and they've not changed the starters in any way despite more areas and better enemies to fight. I encourage you to try to win one of the Kin Giveaway games, as they feature Kin that are much better. In the meantime, fill out an order form and in the "free kin" section choose three that you like the looks of plus Soldier Mouse and Vulcarus. Those two are the best of the free Kin we offer, I believe...
Can confirm Vulcarus is great choice, mine is level 50 and he's kind of my baby.
ETA: Use this guide to pick kin in the future. Farming Sycamortes will be your bread and butter for gold needs. As you can see by reading it, Vulcarus is capable of stage 4 Sycamortes - I've been lucky a few times in stage 5, but only just - and should do better than Echo (or final evolution Myostrike).

Thank you ^^ Yeah I've been jumping around to different areas. I can't handle Land of sweets yet cause they keep giving me high level kins to fight. But I'll get there soon enough XD

My Pumppet is only level 22 and she's been bullying stage 4 Sycamortes already. lol I'm super proud and also highly recommend Pumpae, if you find yourself able to afford one.
