Hello Hiretsu finally won omg crying I expected to win in days or something cuz' of my shizzy luck, at least I didn't spend in Lunar reverly or smt blaugh

Anyway I was calculating the probabilities cuz I'm a turbo nerd emo you can add them somewhere if u want, it's 1 in 100 for the 3 dices normal price, 1 in 1000 for the 3 dices big prize and 9 in 100 for the 2 dices.

Also considering the low possibilities it could be more enticing to add some more winning combinations ex: rolling 8-10 times 2 pairs adjacent to the other counting as a small win counting all numbers above 7 for the big win or only exchanging 2 times the small prices for the big price (this in consideration that the price of watermeats, sakuras and shards have reduced, and ofc limiting this subjected to the conditions of availability/demand of participation and your expectations of the depot budget)

And I have a question about the Title "Pay it forward", is that for expectation of the users to give back? or was/is that an actual service provided by the depot? cuz' it's kind of an interesting concept, to have a store open for those wishing to complete their kinlist with maybe some use of contractual obligations. whee

The "Pay it Forward" part of the title is actually left over from the person who first came up with the idea; wayyy~ back in 2016 Gaia user Devon/Gaul had started a Rent-A-Kin thread where users could borrow Tree Killers and other assorted Kin. Giveaways started being done, and soon the decision was made to split into two threads (the original remaining the Rent-A-Kin, and a new thread made for Giveaways. I think so things would stay more organized? Don't remember too clearly...). ANYhow, I volunteered to oversee this giveaway thread, and the one ask was that the thread name keep "Pay it Forward" in the title because that's basically what we were doing - giving back to the LK community.


There is absolutely no obligation for users to return anything. People have actually used the thread to complete certain Kin collections (like, for any of the Spliced Kin) specifically because all they need to do is spend time and get lucky with the RNG.


I unfortunately currently don't have the time/energy to do anything more complicated than the current setup - its also partially why the RNG portion (game 1) has been suspended.
