New Feature: Amulets!

Looks like we have a new feature in Lake Kindred!

Amulets are a new type of item that can be equipped to your kin to give them unique buffs. There are three basic types of amulets. Square, circle and diamond, each with different rarity levels. You can reveal the equip sockets for each of your kin. Each socket will allow you to equip a particular shape of amulet. Visit the My Kins section in Lake Kindred and go to Equip Items to reveal the sockets on your kin. Please note, once you equip an amulet onto a kin, both the amulet and your kin will become soulbound and cannot be sold back to the store until you un-equip the amulet. It also will cost a little gold to un-equip amulets depending on the amulet rarity.

To equip your amulet, there's a new Equips tab. First you have to reveal the kin's slots. The amount of slots your kin has, as well as what shapes they are is random.

After you reveal the slots, you'll be able to equip an amulet! Just select the right shape.

If you wish to unequip an amulet, you'll have to pay a 1b fee for common green ones, a 5b fee for the rare red ones, and a 10b fee for the legendary ones. Do note that if you wish to evolve, sell, or use a kin in alchemy, you must unequip any amulets that the kin you wish to use has equipped.

Amulets can be found in game as battle rewards. So far drops have been confirmed in the Lake Kindred, Kindred Wilds, Zen Temple, Fafnir's Peak, Milky Way and Bunny Planet zones!

To see the stats on your amulet, you need to reload Lake Kindred after getting it.
Please note that these are not the only stats you can get on them, these are just ones that have been 100% confirmed by people getting them.

[Q] How do I get Amulets?
[A] Amulets will randomly drop as a battle reward.

[A] So far I've seen reports of them dropping in Lake Kindred, Kindred Wilds, Zen Temple ,Fafnir's Peak, Milky Way and Bunny Planet. While it can be assumed they drop everywhere, these locations are definite areas where they drop.

[Q] Where do I get rare or legendary amulets from?
[A] Rare amulets drop from the same kin that drop the common ones, you just have to get lucky for them. Legendary ones have not been obtained yet, so we don't know where those come from.

[Q] Does each type of kin have a set number of slots they have, does radiance of level affect amulet slots, or is it random?
[A] It is absolutely random. If you'd like some data to look at, you can check out khionna's post here, where she posted both stats of various different types of kinds as well as stats for a bunch of Chirpettes.

[A] The five elements correspond with the kin's skills, or more specifically what debuff it's skills do. Water = Sleep, Fire = Wither, Wood = Poison, Stone = Paralyze, Metal = Confusion. tastes like sailor also has an in-depth elements guide, which you can find here

[A] Yep they do!

[A] You can hover over the item in the marketplace to see its stats!

[Q] How do I know what slots a Kin in the Marketplace has?
[A] Just like with Amulets, hover your mouse over the Kin you wish you buy! If the slots haven't been revealed yet, it will say so.

In the other thread, some people were saying that they got amulets as drops in the first two LK areas... so I might try to play around there and see what happens. I've been hoping to level up some new kin anyway, so it works for me!
