Hi, I'm mel, and I no longer have too much time on my hands. I apologize for abandoning the spreadsheets; I notice there are still people who are listing their data; Thank you. I just don't have the time or will to edit the spreadsheet as much as I have in the past. I may come back to work on this and input the data you guys have given me, but for now that's in the unforeseeable future. I'm sorry for those that took the time to post their data. Maybe there's been an update between when I restarted, maybe all the data will be moot with the next update. I can't keep up at this point in my life. I wish you all happy tree hunting.

Hi I'm mel, and I have too much time on my hands! I really like spreadsheets!
So I've made a spreadsheet with the drop rates in various different areas.
Ever wondered if one area is better to grind in then another? Look no further!

You can scroll through the tabs at the bottom to check
out each area's data. ^ ^
It's a Google doc, but everyone who enters is an anonymous animal (except me).
You don't have to worry about your email or name showing up.

Things to consider:

gaia_star This is a work in progress project. The more data that can be inputted,
the more accurate the percentages will be.
gaia_star A few percentage points is not a huge difference.
gaia_star My wording is awful. Let me try to explain it again here.
gaia_star Overall prob. is that item's probability of dropping in that stage.
gaia_star C. Probability stands for "Category Probability." Basically, what is the
chance that that item will be dropped within that category (i.e gold, etc.)
gaia_star Always looking for input! Please let me know if you notice mistakes or have advice for me!

Where Should I Battle?

gaia_star Community Pick gaia_star

Considered by most to be the end game of Lake Kindred, Kindred Wilds Stage 5
is the most efficient way to make gold in LK. Stage 5 Sycamortes drop 1-2bil 85%
of the time. Stage 4 sycamortes are not that far behind at 77%. Wondering what

gaia_star Best Overall Variety gaia_star

Although Zen Temple doesn't have the best drop rates for RIGs, it's a relatively
easy area with a variety of nice drops. You can even attempt to grind for a Sakura
Pegacorn Fluff or Ember the Spirited Fox drop! (Warning: they are very rare though.)
Zen Temple is great for grinding for potions, Village of Fairies, and Japanese Ghost
Stories. There are some Charge Orbs (12%) and low gold drops to weed through (35%),
but Zen Temple is a great area for beginners and older players alike.

gaia_star Best RIG Variety gaia_star

Fafnir's Peak has a god awful RIG drop rate at a pitiful 27%. However, Fafnir's Peak
boasts 23 different RIGs. Of course not all RIGs are worth opening, but players'
favorites usually include, The Old Ice Fishing Hole, Sakura Fishing Hole, and Winter
Trunk. The low gold drops in this area are plentiful (70%), and the kin here can pack
a punch, so I don't recommend grinding in this area for the sole purpose of selling
RIGs. If you're lucky, you can get some really nice items from the RIGs here though!

gaia_star Other Areas gaia_star

WORK IN PROGRESS !

gaia_star Lake Kindred gaia_star

Lake Kindred is a good area to start in when you're leveling from about level 1 to
4. There aren't a ton of potion drops, the alchemy component drops are pretty
useless, but the kin here are very weak. I would only use this area as a stepping stone
to level a low leveled kin to make it strong enough to take on other areas.

gaia_star Land of Sweets gaia_star

Land of Sweets has a very good RIG drop rate at around 41%. I personally believe
the RIGs are pretty good with the exception of Midnight Circus. From personal experience,
the win rate for that RIG is piss poor. The equip drops in this area can be used to craft
Peppy Recolors of the Spirited wear. There is also no boss kin in the area to worry about.
Sometimes the mice can pack a punch, so be careful!

gaia_star Hephaestus Peak gaia_star

Gonna be totally honest here, I haven't collected enough data to make any solid
conclusions about the drop rates here. Most players personally aren't huge fans of this area.
The slimes are weak, but the RIGs here aren't that great. Most of their prizes have deflated by
quite a bit. But hey, one person designated this area as their favorite area to grind in, so!

gaia_star Gaia Lab gaia_star

I also do not have enough data for this area to present number information for you all.
However, the only worthwhile drops in this area are potions. The gold drops are low and plentiful,
while orbs also drop frequently. None of the kin here drop eggs, so you will not be able to obtain
a barkhest or pumpae from grinding in this area. I honestly would never recommend this area
to anyone.

SUPER IMPORTANT EDIT:
Data that includes charge orbs has the potential to be thrown out given that they will be removed after the official release of zOMG. Valentine Stagonies were supposed to be removed. Any data in Zen Temple will not be able to be used. :c

Super important though:

gaia_star You must include every drop you come across, not just rigs or the rarer ones.
gaia_star If you're battling in an area with a Watermeat BOSS, Ranger Castor BOSS, or Cosmos
BOSS, please separate its drops from other kin drops. I record them separately.
gaia_star Please specify every type of drop, even gold drops!
(i.e, 3k, 7k, Chocolate Cow, etc.)
gaia_star Please have a minimum of 25 drops per post!
gaia_star Please format your post like so:

It wasn't too bad to maintain.
It was mostly people didn't really help me out any, so a good chunk of the data at the time was from myself only. x-x;
There were a few people here and there that helped out, but the help kinda died off after a point.

Though that was many months ago, and there seem to be a lot more active people around here!
So hopefully you'll do much better with it! ^^
