A Comprehensive Quick Guide



Welcome!
This spreadsheet compiles the following of all kindred in Lake Kindred:

- all kin names
- links to marketplace listings
- kin images
- kin egg images
- lvl50 stats
(stamina, life, magic, damage, rarity, resist, accuracy, and type)
- evolution notes
(to tell what's evolving and what's not)
- species notes
(to group up evolution lines, recolored species, or kins that are unique)
- tree killer notes and battle notes
from the Sycamorte Grinding Guide
(what stage they're good at, strongest moves and damage range)
- release dates

The following is still in the works:

- drop notes
(where the kins can drop, either from area stages or RIGs)

Guide

What do the columns mean?




Kin Name
Names of respective kindreds!
Links to their marketplace listing.
(click on the cell and the link that pops up above the cell)

Picture
Preview picture of the respective kindred.
You can scroll across the spreadsheet and it'll stay in place,
so you know which stat matches with which kin visually!

Egg
Egg image for reference.




Stats
Stamina, life, magic, and damage are level 50 only!
Rarity, resist, accuracy, and type are constant regardless of level.

Stamina - Determines how often it can go into battle
Life - Health points that a kin has in battle
Magic - How much magic a kin has for using skills and magic attacks
Damage - how much damage an attack does; base damage for all attacks?

Rarity - the rarity value that the game gives the kin
Resist - the chance to resist status ailments when attacked by a ailment-causing attack
Accuracy - the chance to hit an enemy with an attack/magic/skill
Type - kin's type, based on the status ailments their skills can cause

Evo Notes - Evolution Notes
To categorize by evolution stages!

Non-Evolving: the kin's only stage, with no other stages to evolve to
Stage 1: the kin's starting stage; can evolve to a higher form at a higher level
Stage 2: the first evolution of a kin
Stage 3: the second and final evolution of a kin

Species Notes
To categorize by species!
This groups up evolution lines (ie all 3 stages of the echo line under 'Echo / Noctus / Myotistrike')
Also groups up all recolored species (ie all recolors of Ember under 'Ember the Fox')
Unique = the kin has NO evolutions OR recolors; it shares its design with no other kin

Tree Killer
Notes based on the Sycamorte Guide by Danni Thorne.

Excluded: not included in the guide
Slow: Long battle with this kin, as described in the guide
Moderate: Average/decently-paced battle
Fast: Quicker battle with kin
OHKO-able: can be killed in one hit

Battle Notes
Notes strongest moves or healing moves, mainly from the Sycamorte Guide.
Strongest moves have reported damage range next to them.
Healing moves have the percentage of how much they heal next to them.

Drop Notes (wip)
Information where the kin drop.
Can either be from an in-game stage, RIGs, or the shop for GC.

Release Date
The date the kin was released publicly.

How to Filter Information

The best part about spreadsheets is being able to sort the data!

1. Click the Filter icon on the far right fo the tool bar. (it's 2nd from the right)



2. When you see the top header bar have arrows next to their names, you can click any of the arrows to start sorting per column!



3. If you're looking for specific values, click Clear under Filter by values, and type in the search bar for what you're looking for!



Sort A-Z: ascending, or least to greatest. Default setting for kin names. Also good for sorting stats!

Sort Z-A: descending, or greatest to least.


Filtering with Certain Columns

Type
You can look for Confusion, Paralyze, Wither, Poison, or Sleep. You can also look for kins with multiple types (multiple skills with different ailments)!

Evo Notes
You can filter for Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, or Non-Evolving kins!

Species Notes
Most species groups, if they're in a group, are sorted by name (ie all recolored Cabochomps are under 'Cabochomp'; all stages and recolors of Fafnir are under 'Fafnir (Hatchling / Adolescent / Tyrant)').
Type in the name of the species you're looking for in the search bar to find it!
If you're interested in kins that have no evolutions or recolors, they're all under the 'Unique' label.

Tree Killer
You can filter by Stage 4 or Stage 5, along with their respective paces (Slow / Moderate / Fast).

Release Date
Sort A-Z: oldest to newest; chronological order of kin releases (alphabetical within same dates)
Sort Z-A: newest to oldest


Battle Notes and Drop Notes are not meant to be filtered by, as their information is specific per kin.

FAQ

Q: Why are the cells so giant?

The main size gap is for the Picture column (the B column).
I wanted to make the full resolution of each kin picture show up without any shrinking.
Each cell in the B column should be set to 140x160p.

Q: Why are some of the stats empty?

Kins that do not have lvl50 stats have empty stat cells.
They have evolved forms that have lvl50 stats.
You can find out what their evolved form is in their Species Notes.

Q: Why include pictures?

When I first started playing Lake Kindred, I had no idea what each kindred looked like when people talked about them (infamous kin like Candy Corn Skulverine or differences between all Tyrant Fafnirs).
I wanted to see a spreadsheet where I could look at all information of kins next to their pictures, hence, the spreadsheet!

Q: There's too many columns, I can't see anything!

You can make a copy of the spreadsheet for yourself (if you have a Google account) via File > Make a Copy, then hide or delete columns by right clicking a column at the top and choosing to hide or delete them. ^^

You're free to make your own specialized spreadsheet with your own notes if you'd like!
