Alexis followed Kevin out of her room with a smile on her face, but not on her heart. Every few seconds her mind would process some thought about Azure, even she was getting annoyed by it. "I hope Azure's alright. I wonder if he would like a drink to? Should I go back and ask him? He's unconscious, just let him sleep it off like Kevin said. What if he wakes up before we get back? I hope Azure won't think we abandoned him." Honestly, what did she think about before she came to this weird school? Trying to get her mind onto something else, maybe something that wouldn't have her worried to death, she looked up to Kevin's face. She was going to say something, nothing important, just a little small talk, when she noticed a smile on his face, it seemed cute and content, like a child with an ice cream. It made her giggle.
As they walked further down the hall Kevin's eye must have been caught by something because he suddenly changed course and headed straight towards a notice board surrounded by students. At first she thought of going back to Azure but that idea didn't occupy her head for long. "You are allowed to have a life besides him." she scolded herself mentally before following to the crowd. "What's going on?" she heard the dark-haired boy ask, and in a hundred years Alexis never would have guessed the answer. "A gender-bender ball?" she repeated in shock. The blond pushed herself to the front to stand next to Kevin and look at the board, sure enough there was a flier that announced her future problem. For a second, she really wanted to go, the idea of dressing like a girl again, doing her hair, and not binding her chest was amazing! Then she realized that it would be impossible. It would be much to dangerous to dress like a girl, even if others were doing it, she would most definitely stand out. "Please don't be mandatory." she begged briefly, looking over the fine print, and sure enough, at the bottom was a small sentence reading: "All Classes Must Participate."
While gazing at the bottom of the flier she also noticed the reward for winning, another treat she would not be able to enjoy. "A trip to Tikitika Island? What's the point in that?" she asked out loud, hoping to get some supporters, even though she was mostly sure everyone (including herself) wanted to go to the beach.
((That's alright, I liked it. 3nodding ))
