He can transfer this effect to anything, being able to cut through even the hardest of diamonds. However, he cannot cut through objects tampered by a Loveless, though even the hardest of diamonds he can slice through with relative ease. All cuts are made in the same fashion as if it were glass hit by an object.
Bio: A former member of Accelia, he immediately fled and deserted the Terrorist group at the first sign of weakness after he had discovered that Accelia was the cause of the Bellesview Massacre. He tries to live an ordinary life, though often he does desire to return to the group just so he can be like the 'hero' he saw himself as being with Accelia. Goofy, caring but cowardly, he earned the nickname 'No-good Johnny' from the others in Accelia for his cowardice.

Power: He has earned the name 'Auric Chevalier' , the nickname given to him by the enemies who both respect and fear him. Nathaniel has the ability to create out of nowhere a flintlock rifle with exactly one round. He can make such rifles anywhere within 5m. Combined with his acrobatic reflexes, his gunplay cannot be matched by even the greatest of marksmen within the Shining Stars.
Bio: Leader of the Terrorist group Accelia, he has long vowed to destroy the IDS and to liberate Sternbhild city from it's grasp. He stays silent about the Bellesview Massacre despite the insistence of his associates to divulge the truth, leading many to believe he really did have a hand in the famous massacre. After making a deal with Morrison, he had 'surrendered' himself in an open battle against him in exchange for his follower's lives.

Power: His power is the ability to reset or move something to a state prior to what it was before to his desire, allowing him to restore things that have been broken or to know what had happened in that one area by rewinding the events so that he could easily witness what had happened.
Bio: A high-ranking member of Accelia, he had personally known Nathaniel before he had established Accelia, with Nathaniel often relying on Roquefort for support or aid. Adept at combat and information gathering, he was the very person who had revealed that the IDS had a hand in the development of the Disbelief Syndrome.

Power: Anything he touches he can 'open' or separate with a zipper, he can easily turn any part of him into a zipper almost subconsciously. He is able to utilize this to split into parts to avoid attacks or to pass areas inaccessible by walls. When zipping an object, he can choose to hide between that object, choosing when to come out. The space available there is infinitely large, allowing him to conceal objects that can't normally be concealed within the area. He can also sunder an object by cutting it in half with a zipper, then removing the zipper with the snap of his finger, cutting the two halves permanently.
Bio: Orphaned during the brutal crackdown of the IDS during it's founding days, he has sworn to eliminate the very institution that killed his parents and destroyed his life. He also attends Daleclove Academy.

Power: The user has the physiological make up of a tree, more specifically, the White Oak tree. He can freely transform his body into a tree's form. He has no vital parts as he has the composition of a plant, he can survive underwater for prolonged amounts of time and he needs no sustenance aside from minerals from the soil and sunlight. In battle, he has the ability to control, create or absorb plant biomass to heal himself. He can also root himself onto the ground to leech nutrients or to sense an enemy's movement by the sound of their footsteps.
Bio: The figurative 'big brother' to various members of Accelia, he is responsible for meeting with associates and supporters of the movement, the personal trainer and public relations figure. He is often seen with Monica by spending time folding Origami figures for her.

Power: James has the ability to exert at his hands a very powerful physical force that attempts to split an object into smaller pieces, sending the said fragments flying when he releases his hands. He can only ffracture inanimate objects, launching the pieces to speeds that mimic the force of a small comet.
Bio: A student in Daleclove Preparatory academy, his father was a banker who was ruined by the Mini'Plenty because of his affiliation with a now-banned Representative council. On the surface he is very loyal to the IDS, deep inside he works to destroy it. He has become inactive by the orders of Nathaniel, keeping a low profile.

Power: Any action that Arwen commits will can leave an after image of her. Touching that after image will affect the person as if Arwen had just performed that action onto them. She can also activate Afterimages by will from up to 50ft.
Bio: Formerly a retired army medic who operated an Orphanage in Ward 8, she had witnessed the sheer cruelty of the IDS as she was incarcerated, tortured and interrogated for sheltering the innocent child of a convicted Terrorist. She was rescued by Accelia during a Prison break, joining them soonafter.

Power: Her ability allows her to exist in a separate sub-entity called 'Overdive' that connects her right into the city's database. From here she is able to hack into various government databases and facilities, co-coordinating all Accelia members by communicating with telepathy. She can designate a 'primer' whom she synchronizes her mind with, allowing her to see a top-down vision from 15m of the Primer.
Bio: Confined to a life-support system wheelchair, she is only barely able to move her hands and operate her vital functions. Paralyzed because of an advanced progression of the Disbelief syndrome, only after the effects were irreversible did she become a Loveless. She has shown much delight in origami and folded paper airplanes.

Bio: Having kind heart is quite rare for a Loveless, but not for Keith, who values chivalry and honor in battle. He is very polite and slow to anger, always treating everyone, even his enemies with dignity and respect even if he did have the upper hand. Despite having lost his fiancee in the Bellesview Massacre, he still abides by his honorable approach to justice.

Bio: Cruel, violent and very confrontational, though fiercely loyal to the IDS he often does as he pleases, many times running contrary to the desires of his superiors. Fancying himself a 'homicide expert' , he revels in the suffering of his enemies, using the pretense of peace and protection to brutally torture or murder his enemies. He is feared, reviled and disliked by many, including his own allies.

With almost 3,028 people slain, he is the single most deadliest Loveless in existence, only after he was 'killed' by Morrison did his reign of slaughter come to an end. Terminology

The Shining Star: One of the 9 Megacities that still exist in Earth. During the Cold War Calamity, a deadly virus called Disbelief Syndrome was manufactured for war during that time. The ensuing use killed thousands in the city of Washington, but the virus spread quickly, adapted and easily decimated other populations and wildlife, even reaching back to where it was created. A great majority of the world was wiped out from the outbreak and ensuing chaos. To this day only 9 Cities remain in all of the world, encased from the desolate world and free from ethics as technology took great leaps forward. Each city is governed entirely by a mega-company. The current setting takes place in Sternbhild city, the 6th of the 9 Shining Stars. Divided into 10 sub-sectors called Wards, the city is extremely influential and prosperous, owing to it's background in weapons development and genetics.

IDS: The Intelligent Design Systems, it is the Mega-company that controls Sternbhild city. At the height of the Cold War Calamity, the IDS was a weapons development and paramilitary association. It's headquarters was located in modern-day New York, where it used an underground bunker as shelter to it's core and then to other refugees. Slowly building upon the Bunker complex it eventually became a mega-metropolis with 12 Million people living in it. It specializes in Weaponry Research and development, credited for pioneering the Borner Project and the idea of using Genetics to sterilize the Low. Though a military company, they are still quite reasonable and allows the existence of opposing groups and allows the Middle class and the Higher class to choose a representative council in a rare form of Democracy.

The Days of Ruin: The period at which the Disbelief Syndrome had utterly destroyed Humanity. In just a month, almost 90% of the world's population was infected or have died from the disease. It can also refer to the years when the Virus was active, before it became dormant at 2016.

Ministry: The very pillars of Sternbhild City, each Ministry represents and governs a certain part of the city as specific parts of the bureaucracy that focus entirely on their own field. There are five Ministries; The Ministry of Truth and Progression, The Ministry of Diplomatic Resolutions, the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Ministry of Public Relations and the Ministry of Genetics and Human Engineering. All of them can be shortened to Mini'True, Mini'Pax, Mini'Plenty, Mini'Luv and Mini'Gen. Each head constitutes a member of the High Council, who takes advice from the citizen-elected Representative Council to make their ruling, although not all the time is the advice of the Representative council heeded. Each Ministry commands the loyalty of many citizens.

Accelia: A rebellious element within Sternbhild city that calls for the liberation of the city from IDS' control. Supposedly stating that the IDS had contributed into the Disbelief Syndrome and the outbreak in Washington that ignited the virus' path of destruction, they seek to end the rule of IDS on the city. Recent developments had their leader captured, many of his followers killed in a decisive crackdown and the execution of a general, combined with lowered morale and internal squabbling had crippled the Rebellion movement very harshly.

Low: A government term for the Poor and Unfortunate, caged usually in the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 8th Wards. They are given work that sustains them, not enough for advancement to perpetuate their poverty and hardship. Their ancestors in the past had been genetically altered to be less fertile, in an attempt to control Population. Though not mistreated, they are generally reviled and looked down upon, with very little chance to improve their lifestyle. Mini'Plenty governs payrolls and salaries, subsequently controlling who enters the Low status or not. Subtle genetic tempering and brainwashing had rendered a majority of the Low to be unable to revolt or rise up in defiance.

Borner: An extracted human grown outside of a womb, raised and modified in many ways to serve a specific function. They are considered subhuman and have no rights in the city of Strenbhild. They are the requisitioned children of the Low who have managed to bypass the sterilization process that had been passed genetically. They are often used as Soldiers, Workers or even experimental units.

The 8th Column: An activist group composed of influential members of Sternbhild city who adamantly oppose the Borner system and re-sterilization campaigns of the IDS. Functioning on the now-defunct idea of 'Universal Human Rights' they protest and directly provide relief for the Low. They are also an opposing Representative Council, having the second largest vote pool of 20%.

Loveless: A person who has been infected with the Disbelief Syndrome and managed to synthesize the Virus and extract a unique genetic coding that grants them supernatural abilities. Theories claim that those who are infected with the Disbelief Syndrome virus but survive without the aid of medicine gain such abilities. The closer to death one is before the virus is synthesized and the greater the suffering, the stronger the Loveless' power.

If she needs you to forget she was ever in your life, she can do that... If she needs to do nothing more than to place herself in a time of your life where she believes is required to change your history, then she can. However strong this power seems, it has its downfalls as she can fall comatose when the implantation of the memories goes wrong.
Bio: Born to Elizabeth and William Cromwell on December 13th, she is their youngest daughter. Her elder brother Arthur William Cromwell was born first and he was four years older than she is (he was gunned down on her sixteenth birthday while out purchasing a present for her - this would make her nineteen). Next comes her elder sister who is three minutes older than Sophia, her name is Selene Eos Cromwell and they were identical twins, however when the virus infected both of them, she died not long after in the hospital while Sophia barely survived. Now she is a student at one of the leading Universities and is studying medicine. Sophia works in the hospitals on an internship, and is stationed in the Children's Ward.

Overlooking the carnage, the ruins of the old Covenant Church, a single orphan forms his fist. Fires burned taller than the young lad, the skies a crimson red as the sound of distant explosions rocked the city. The distant echo of gunfire shattered the skies, the screams of hapless civilians shot by live rounds a sick cacophony that brought a shudder down his spine. No, but fear was not what he felt. It was an anger that transcended words, an anger that drove genocides and remorseless hatred.

The low moaning of a familiar figure snapped him out of his musings: within the burning ruins of the Church one could hear the voice of Sister Cisqua, who in no doubt was in great agony. She had pleaded many times for the lives of the orphans, claiming they had done nothing wrong. Shot with almost a clip-full of bullets, she shuddered as she lay face-up in a pool of her own Blood. Unable to speak any words, choked with sorrow the orphan grasped her hand, looking into her dear, blue eyes. This was the very woman who took him in when no one else would. The very woman he promised he would protect, as to not lose the very people he loved after his own parents were slain. The same voice who would sing praises to God and ask the orphans to join in. Leaning onto his lap, Cisqua gently stroked the Orphan's cheek, a single tear dripping down her blood-stained cheek as her hands softly left a swathe of blood to the left of his jawline.

"F-f..For...give...t-th...them..."

Such powerful words she had spoken, reaching into her neck she pulled out a silver rosary, the cross of the savior sparkling brightly as his hands shakily took it after her own weak hands faltered and her eyes closed in tandem. No...No! NO! She couldn't be dead! No! He...He can't lose the people he loved again! The memories of Sunday Afternoon choir...sharing bread with the others...playing the organ to Cisqua's delight...they were all gone. Softly laying her head to rest upon the floor with a peaceful look that graced her face, the orphan looked into the sky, tears flowing from his eyes as he clenched his fists, unable to follow through with the nun's final request.

"I WILL MAKE THEM PAY FOR THIS! I SWEAR I WILL!"

A solitary roar of anger, though drowned out by the screams of the innocent and the crackle of gunfire, the young man sank to his knees, losing all consciousness...

"Gghhrkk....Uahh..." gasped out the young man, blood-stained hands leaving behind his incarnadine essence as he leaned against the walls of an aqueduct with his left hand, the other clutching his abdomen. Upon his back he was impaled with three metallic surgical scissors, having been thrown his way as he mounted a retreat by jumping into the river, hoping to avoid his assailant. Thank goodness he thought he was dead.

Stumbling, he tried to walk as far as he could up the stairs from the river, stumbling with a bleeding ankle. His tendon was almost entirely ripped out, his entire body bloodied from his brutal encounter with 'Kill them all' Luciano Del Vittorio. Just the fact he was assigned to the raid meant that half of his comrades won't be seeing it out. If anything, he was just worried about Monica. She was so integral to their operation, yet he doubted she would be kept alive after they saw that she was pretty much confined to her life support-wheelchair. He felt...weak. That would make it the Third time he was unable to protect the things that mattered most to him. "Damnit, Damnit, DAMNIT!" he yelled, only to hiss in pain when he raised his voice even by a little. Clutching his side, he limped forward, only to feel his body feel heavier than lead, falling face first into the grassy ground.

He dragged himself forward, leaning against the tree as he gasped what would see his last, careful not to lean into the tree in a way that would press the Scissors further into him. From the depths of his despair and anger...he began to laugh. Chuckling hysterically, tears flowed from his eyes. What a pathetic child...he was given a chance to protect the people he loved, yet he followed Florence's advice and ran. What kind of execution did that gentle giant face now? A humiliating incineration, quietly arranged by the IDS while the rest of his comrades were summarily executed? Looking out into the horizon, he sighted the bright lights of Sternbhild city. The cage of sin and the village of darkness built upon a foundation of skulls. Maintained by lies and the facade of peace. Yet, to think he would die now in a place like this...how disgusting. How would he look Sister Cisqua in the face, telling her that he did not what she had asked of him in her final breath, yet he failed to avenge her and the orphans who died that one October Wednesday?

The light of a street lamp illuminating his figure, he crawled pathetically as far as he could, leaving behind a trail of blood as he did so. "Selene, I wish you were here. I really miss you." Said the sixteen year old, pushing the second plate of cake she had scooped up over onto the place mat across from her where her sister usually sat. Sophia was waiting for her brother, Arthur, to come home with her gift - their parents, as per usual, were busy as could be with their own jobs and the sixteen year old had been dreading her birthday for such a long time. The loneliness was hard with her to cope with, since Selene had passed away, Sophia had put her mind on her work. Looking at the piece of cake she had cut for her sister, she also took up her fork and dug into hers. Appearing out of thin air across from her was the mirror image of Sophia, only her sister had much shorter hair - they smiled at each other. "Happy Birthday, Selly."

"Happy Birthday, Soapy." Chimed the version of her sister than she had fabricated. They dug into their cake, but were interrupted by the phone half way through talking about the boys that had started to fall for in school. Sophia stood up from the chair, walking to the phone and picking it up.

"Hello?" She answered, and the voice on the other line sounded grim. Something about Arthur being badly injured?

Sophia snapped from her memory, the fabricated face of her sister fading as the classroom came back to her. Her fingers where drumming on the textbook, and the voice of one of her classmates found its way to her ears. It was Richard Thatcher, a blond boy with haunting blue eyes - Selene would have liked him a lot. Standing from her desk rather suddenly, she bowed her head in an apology. "Richard, I'm sorry. But, I have something I need to attend to." It was a feeble excuse, and her eyes were apologetic as she packed up her laptop and text books. Tossing them in her bag, she swung it over her shoulder and left the classroom, rushing down the hall and outside.

The cool air on her face calmed the frantic thoughts running through her mind - Selene's death, then her brothers... The funeral had been hardly attended for both her siblings - then again, both bodies had been destroyed, one for illness and the other for the little remains left of the body. Sighing, the rose haired girl started back home, passing through the spot lights of the street lamps one by one. I need to stop letting my mind wander back to that day... It's bad for my health, and to keep pretending that Selene is in my memories is dangerous... She stared dully at the ground, her hands clinging to the straps of her bags - stupid, stupid, stupid. She just wanted to go home, and to pass out in a deep sleep where she couldn't play and toy with her memories anymore. She took another step, into another spot of light... Something caught her eye, it was red in colour...

"Blood...?" She whispered, stopping and looking behind her, then back to the trail that had gone off the path. I hope they're alright. She thought, and Sophia began to follow the trail. It didn't take long until she found the person, or body... Of a fellow around her age. Rushing to his side, she fell to her knees and tossed her bag to the side. "Hey! Hey, you okay?" She asked, reaching out and touching his neck with her fingers - she checked for a pulse... There it was! "Can you hear me? Come on, stay with me!" Sophia said, propping him up against her, her free hand pulling out her cellphone, while her other began to start inspecting his wounds by the soft glow of her screen. Scissors embedded in his back? Keeping him propped against her chest, she shrugged out of her sweater and began to tear it to shreds to tie and press to the wounds to at least. She needed to call someone, but who?

Richard mused from afar. Sophia looked so cute when she would just stare ahead, emptily looking forward with her eyelids slightly lowered. What daydreams did she play out in her head? Was it about him? Hopefully it should! Stroking his hair in a way that would make any other teenage girl swoon over, flaring up his golden blond hair with the smooth gesture. The smile of his was the single most deceptive aspect of Richard: it was able to hide his anger and sorrow. He was worried sick about his aunt and nephew who still remained in Britannia even after the insurrection by Lord Guilfordt had burst out. Such barbarity, refusing to accept ransom as he brought out the guillotine to execute captured Nobles...his sister had suffered a fate as such, why must he murder more of his kin?! Eyebrows sharpening and jaws gritted together, clenching his fist he was barely able to prepare his facade when Johnathan walked right by, eyes wide. No one has ever seen Richard that angry before, sure it was easy to tell when he was annoyed, but enraged? A totally different story.

"Ahaha...Sorry about that...just reflecting on news...you know those hooligans back in Britannia...running around the streets taking heads, they clearly don't know their place..." he did quite a good job downplaying the very source of his anger, a direct contradiction to his feelings. Being the person who hates to disagree with those of great influence, Johnathan laughed anxiously. "Hehe, yeah. Thinking what they're doing is right and all...didn't they know how hard it is to become a noble or something?" While Richard agreed and chuckled, he just couldn't bear what an idiot the young man was. Sure he could sympathize with Lord Cromwell's vision of a Socialist state, but why did he have to be so ruthless and cruel to Nobles who did little to harm them?! He caught Johnathan looking towards Sophia with a slight blush to his cheeks. Turning back, he decided to chuckle.

"You're redder than a beet, Johnny. Got the hots for Sophie?"
"W-wha?! N-no I don't...S-she's just cute...t-that's all..."
"You know what? I'll make a move on her!"
"Huuuuhh?! Are you serious?!"

Leaning back in a relaxed and casual manner, Richard proclaimed his new move in a whisper, much to Johnathan's surprise. His face as red as his own, taking a deep breath, he tried to collect himself. A good few...pick up lines ought to be enough to strike a conversation. Moving his chair back, he slowly advanced towards Sophie's desk, carefully eyed by jealous stares from the other girls. Not that he hated them, but rather...he preferred Sophie compared to others. There was that...sincerity that reminded him all too well of his older sister...to long just being near her, to embrace her softly and hear her words of encouragement. Leaning against her chair, he tried to maintain his posture to appear ever so charming. Taking a deep breath, just as she snapped from her daydream he began his exposition.

"Oh my...who had let such a beautiful flowe-"
"Richard, I'm sorry. But, I have something I need to attend to."
"...Eh?"

A moment of silence, with many eyes watching Sophie take her leave. Frozen there with a comical look, his jaw still open, frozen in time. If this had been some kind of an animation he would have been drained of all color, fading into a grey. Rejection?! That surely had to hurt. As the door closed behind her, Richard knelt down, looking up into the sky. "Oh why, oh why, cruel fates, hath you forsakened me~!" he said, looking with puppy eyes towards his adoring fans who all rushed to his aid, trying to bolster his ego and claim that she was the fickle type and some reason why he should be with her instead of the others. Johnathan sighed, but he was inded jealous. More importantly, where could she be going?

Grabbing his bag, Richard's attention was turned when Johnathan left the room too. Was he pursuing her as well...? "W-wait!" he cried out, "D-don't leave meeeeeee~" he could not budge form his wall of rabid admirers, pushed at from all sides. The curse of his beauty, it seems.

Coughing out blood, it was quite obvious even to the stubborn that he was dying. Barely able to lift an eyebrow, he thought he could die peacefully, but all that changed when he saw Sophie's face. Almost immediately did his eyes widen. Was she going to find out about his affiliation with Accelia?! He had barely interacted with Sophie, much less anyone in his class even Johnathan despite the fact they were both from the same organization. One had to keep in mind that two Protectorate Junior officers were in their class, should he slip and he would have been arrested in a heartbeat. To her, he was probably just another quite young man who refused to talk interact with others, almost like Matthias in a way.

Weakly, he grasped his chest, softly unzipping his jacket as he held the rosary to his chest. There was so much blood, his sweater almost torn to tatters. What had happened to him?! Who would attack so viciously with a pair of scissors? It should come as a tad bit suspicious that he was absent along with Matthias and Luka today, while the two had a reason to do so, what reason did Bradley have? "Kuuhhh...C-c...cisqua..." he cried out amidst labored breathing. Feeling her warmth against his own, he gasped in slight pain as he felt pressure against his wounds. It seemed like the right thing to do, but almost immediately, a bloodied palm reached out against her heart. In any other scenario this could be seen as groping, but he just...wanted to feel her heartbeat...Eventually, he faded intot he darkness, embracing the numbness as it liberated him from the pain...

The vague sound of a young man panicking, the sound of paramedics and the questioning of police was all that he could hear from his half-conscious haze, screaming soundlessly as the scissors were pulled out by surgical experts before he was put into a stretcher. He glimpsed a sight of Johnathan, the idiot who had run in to, supposedly, had aided her and helped with CPR. Letting his eyes close entirely, he rested, knowing well that hell and torment awaited him upon awakening.

"Miss Sophie, what was YOUR reaction when you found the boy bleeding there?"
"A-and then I..."
The Inquisitive news reporter pressed her microphone a little closer,
"Did you feel proud for saving the dying young man's life?"

Just as Richard was rejected by Sophie, so was he by the anchorwoman. Interviewing her just after the authorities have asked of her the question why he lay bleeding there, they managed to acquit her of any alibis and moved out. Johnathan tried to get a piece of the scene, trying to be right behind her, almost jumping up trying to be a part of the moment.

Lights, cameras and microphones were on poor Sophia as she stood there in the conference room of the hospital - they hadn't even let her change, the girls white school uniform shirt was stained in blood, a dried smear of it across her cheek as she stared into the cameras. The microphone was forced closer to her mouth, and she took in a deep breath. They wanted answers that she could barely give herself... Her hand clenched the rosary that the paramedics had removed from the boy and tossed to the ground. She had picked up the beautiful blood soaked cross - she intended to return it to him, one way or another.

"I was walking home, and I noticed a trail of blood on the ground - I am studying to become a doctor, so I followed it figuring someone was hurt. I just remember seeing him there, with his wounds bleeding... I just... Knew I had to help him. I'm not a hero, and I don't feel pride for something that all humans should have the respect to do for a fellow human being..." She answered, her voice cool and calm as she turned away from the cameras - away from the prying eyes of the public. Her eyes were sad, and she only glanced at Johnathan for a moment, conveying her message of disappointment in him, she shook her head and left the room. The hallway was silent to her, there were no rushing sounds of the press - her hand relaxed and the rosary fell from her hand, dangling from around her wrist.

She made her way slowly through the hallway, to the waiting room outside of the operating room that Bradley was in - how had Sophia been pulled into such a predicament? Please Selene, look after him... Make sure he comes out alright. She prayed as she took a seat in one of the chairs. The nurses had urged her to change into the clothing that they had provided... It sat on the chair she had left them on before she had gone to see the press, if she had not been urged to speak to the media, she would had stayed there waiting for news on his condition. She had washed her fingers of the blood that had gotten on her hands, but as she stared at the rosary in her hands, they seemed to be stained red once more.

The operation had been a success, at least to a certain point. Using Nanites they managed to stitch his broken tendon, The bloody wounds he suffered covered up my stitches, left to heal as the scanned him, guiding the little machines to repair the wounds and devour decaying tissue. Soon enough the operation was a success, a nurse notifying Sophie just as when he, in the stretcher, was led through the conveyor belt towards the rehabilitation room, just a small hospital room facing the window. Flanked by other patients, one with a broken leg and the other with a head injury, Bradley knew he had little time to idle about.

Drawing the curtains, a nurse hurried over and asked him what he was doing when he ripped out the IV from his body. Pushing her away from him, wordlessly he knelt down, placing his palm flat on the concrete and tile floor, bringing his arm horizontally as he opened the concrete with a zipper. Much to the astonishment of the nurses and the ensuing security officers, he jumped down onto an empty bed, landing right beside a cancer patient as he took off, with a mad dash out. The security threatened to shoot him with paralyzing bullets, but even though the hallway was cleared, it was hard to draw a bead on the young man with a slight limp where his tendon was cut.

Ducking though the waiting room, he walked inside the bathroom. The perfect place to lose them. No CCTV, especially in the stalls. Locking the doors, he reached for the back wall, opening a zipper through the other side, emerging through to the Girl's bathroom. Atleast no one was inside the stall he was in, thankfully, though he had to be careful as there was someone near the faucet. The sound of banging on the doors from the other side or the men's washroom could be heard, some kind of commotion forming. Opening the stall door, still wearing his hospital garments, Bradley looked right into Sophie's eyes. He owed her for the rescue she had commited, for sure he would make it up to her. But...it was too late. She implicated herself with a terrorist like him. She may never even be able to return to her normal life now. "Sophie." he said, flinching when the door form the other side was opened with a loud crash. He didn't have much time. Walking up, he hunched slightly when he felt pain sear through his leg. It was obvious he hadn't fully healed yet, the nanites still working on his severed tendon. However, even if she was to make an advance to help him, he rebuffed her with a hand stretched out.

"Whatever you do, DO NOT go to the Ice cream Parlor." What came out of his lips seemed like utter gibberish, but knowing the situation, there had to be some meaning to his words. Without sparing another moment, he ran towards the wall, grasping a zipper that had forcibly opened the wall, flapping now almost like cloth against the wind as he slipped outside, running down the streets as he unzipped the wall back closed. And like that...he was gone.

Johnathan sat down, dejected. He felt so ashamed, trying to be a media gloryhog right in front of Sophie. Sighing, he watched as the media circus slowly began to leave, only to stop in silence when a young adult with orange hair walked in, hands in his pockets, though the tips of his sleeve was covered in blood. Stopping, Johnathan could not help but lean back when the man stared him in the eye. "You look like you know something, boy." he said, holding his hand out as he grasped his chin, forcing him to look up slightly. The soldiers behind him raised their rifles, the others simply dismissing the media.

"I'm not in the mood for games, so spill it: Where is that Boy now?"
"P-P...probably...I...In the recovery room..."

"Aha...I can already taste him...huhuhuhu..." he laughed, drawing out a pair of bloodied scissors, deftly licking the sharp opened edge without cutting himself as he pointed towards the ward. "Search this entire dump! Do not let that brat escape! Initiate a Lockdown, only let out the people who have been cleared for ID." What was Kill-Them-All Luciano doing here? He had left that life behind!!! There was no way he would further implicate himself! He stood up, only to hear a soft rip when a pair of sharp metallic scissors pinned his jacket to the chair. Cool water splashed over Sophia's face as she washed the dried blood from it - he was going to be okay. She sighed, glad to be out of her bloody clothing and in a clean and fresh dress - it wasn't really her style, but it was what the nurse had given her... A party dress, that barely covered anything from her upper thighs down, and it was low on her cleavage like it was beckoning men to look. Sophia was thankful though, for the clean clothes and when the nurse had offered her a knitted sweater, she gladly took it. Even buttoned up, it hung lower than the dress did. She was glad to be covered up, though when the sound of a zipper could be heard, she turned and edged towards the stall it had come from... Wasn't she the only one in here? Suddenly Bradley was in her face, and she opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off by him. He left the warning echoing in her ears, and then he was gone...

Sophia collected her bloodied clothing, shoving it in her bag and exiting the bathroom - she was clean now, however the hospital was crawling with soldiers... Nervously, she grasped her ID bracelet and wandered off down the hallway. Just what was going on, and why had Bradley... Things were a blur, and Sophia's head was spinning... Bradley bleeding in her arms... The rosary around her neck tucked between her breasts, the soldiers searching the hospital. Reaching out to catch herself, her fingers wrapped around the jacket sleeve of Matthias Turner, someone else who was too familiar in this spinning world of chaos.

How pathetic Sophia must have looked, a hand on her head and a hand grasping his jacket, the black knit sweater was longer than the bright red dress she wore that showed off every single curve. She felt exposed, and scared... "Excuse me, but when can I go home?" Came her soft and wavering voice - this was not how she wanted her night to go, nor was it how she assumed saving a classmates life would end.

Matthias was ordered to scan the ID Bracelets of Ward F. Careful as to scan the IDs of the intensive care patients, he did his best to seem so emotionless, trying not to let his emotions cloud his judgment as he worked so very hard to get all of Ward F checked through. Though an elderly woman did panic a bit when her ID bracelet could not be scanned, his calm and quiet demeanor compelled her to be still, scanning twice until the results had gone through. With a soft smile, he waved goodbye to the old woman before he felt a hand on his shoulder. "!!!" gasping softly, Matthias was surprised when her hand clasped his shoulder. Sophia-Amelia Cromwell, a fellow student of his in Class G, aged 19.

"Do not fret, Ma'am. We're simply following standard security protocol." he stated in a smooth voice, though monotone in his own way, his stoicism showed a constant amidst a world of changing faces and ever-diverse situations. Listening to him did not encourage more emotions or to lash out. "Please hold out your ID Bracelet." he said, softly grasping her own hands without a single change in pitch or coloration of his face. That was one thing that set him aside from others: he could easily control his reactions, barely flustering or flushing at any kind of touch. Scanning the ID, her profile page, complete with her Birth date, her Address, contact information, IDS Security Number and her identity pin was displayed. In the middle of the hologram flashed in orange ALL CLEAR as the hologram faded back into her bracelet. "You are free to leave this place, Ma'am." he said.

However, the only thing unlike him that he had done so far, was turn around towards Sophie and speak out of turn. And by out of turn, that meant he initiated the conversation itself. "Please go home...do not associate yourself with strangers and report all anomalous behavior to the IDS at extension 431-0083." Even when he tried to be concerned he still came off as drab as ever. Slowly turning away, he set off to scan the others in the Ward, trying to finish up where he had left off.

Her fingers felt warm against his hands, and she watched his face as he scanned her bracelet - so the hospital was on lock-down, and she had a feeling it was because of Bradley... She stepped back from him and held her hands against her chest... He was cold, in his mannerisms and his touch. Sophia stared at Matthias, her eyes stern as she stared back into his. "Matthias... What is going on? Please, talk to me." Her voice was wavered, but she was stern with the look that she gave him. As he remained silent, a scowl gracing her pretty face as she stormed off to find someone who could give her an answer.

The dark haired head of Luka was the first thing she saw on the second floor down that she had traveled down to. "Luka Trulyworth." She tugged on the sweater she was wearing, pulling it down lower on her legs as she strode towards him, past the line up of people that were lined up to get scanned. Stopping an arm length away from him, the rose haired girl took a deep breath. "What is going on?" She was trying to convey that she meant business, however... Dressed like that, how could one take the young woman seriously though.

"Matthias isn't giving me answers, so you're going to." She said, grasping his arm and pulling him down a side hallway. Finding an empty hospital room, she pulled him inside and closed the doors behind her. She pressed her back up against it, attempting to block his way out of the room.

Luka was a bit busy with the line up of nurses and staff-interns. Some were disgruntled, others were afraid. Was this to bet he scene of another dreaded Bellesview Massacre? It was horrifying...so many dismembered parts everywhere...it was just heart-rending to even try and identify piece after piece, some charred from explosions, other bodies riddled with bullets, some charred, other bodies simply reduced to mush entirely. The decision to simply incinerate the bodies to save the heart-wrenching labor of identifying each of the 183 victims was just too disrespectful, the topic of riots for almost a week after the said event. He could very well understand the tension, though he tried, as much as he could, to calm the people down and to act casually as to not insinuate a sense of danger that could fuel a mass riot. "Okay, next." he said, looking up, only to see a familiar face before him. Atleast, he saw her face before the outfit to some extent, causing him to blush somewhat despite the old man complaining behind her that he was in line first. He shook his head, trying to keep calm, even if by a bit. "P-please go in line. That is classified infor-Wahhhh!" his comrades, though he did bat a stare towards them to plead for help, chuckled softly as they beckoned the disgruntled man who 'presumably' had his spot taken.

"W-w-where are you taking me?!" he sounded so childish, almost, flustering as he tried to resist against her grip. Sophie did not look like it, but as odd as it was, she was stronger than most of the class. The other soldiers could not help but laugh. He worked so hard to seem so very threatening, now he just looked so very weak almost feeble, unable to resist her grip. Either he was very weak or she was just strong, it didn't matter to the others, who chirped about how cute the two looked, almost like lovers. To his friends, however, they joked that the girl seemed to go on top and he went on the bottom, whatever their innuendo implied. Stumbling back almost hitting a cabinet full of supplies, he glared at her. "W-what is wrong with you?! Now my associates will think...nonsense about us!" She may not know, but he had a crush on her. Despite the fact it wasn't immediately obvious, he still flushed a soft pink when he saw the way her waist moved, her slender frame the very definition of perfection. He could go on poetically, but in the end, he decided to play along. "F-f-fine. But don't tell anyone! It's not like I...I like you more than anyone else...or anything."

Curse that Matthias! If he had given her the answers maybe he wouldn't be dragged into this. "Okay. It seems that whoever was either checked in or in care here has some connections or is a member of the terrorist group Accelia." he said, leaning into the wall with his hands folded against his chest. "We don't know who the patient is, though. The data they took from his ID Bracelet was bogus and they didn't catch a good look at his appearance. Heh, those bumbling guards each gave a different account as to how the person looked like, so we'll be needing some advice from a witness or something." he shrugged, softly stroking the handle of his pistol. "Don't worry yourself, we'll catch the bad guys and punish them good. Just be safe and all, alright?" Patting her shoulder, he slowly walked outside, trying to explain to his associates just what had gone down. "Oh, before I leave..." he came back into the room, holding a longcoat of sorts. Blushing softly, he held it with both hands, offering it to her while looking away. "I heard it may get cold outside...d-don't want to walk around wearing that..."

By then, the announcement machine declared that the Lockdown was lifted and that the Protectorate Soldiers had left. It was 8:13PM, the moon a sharp crescent as it floated above a clear night sky. The bustle of the hospital slowly died out, even though the security seemed a little uptight and more vigilant after the event. Were they taking additional safety measures or trying to compensate for their inability to capture and properly identify a patient? The streets of Sternbhild seemed as bustling as ever. Near the corner, however, a familiar voice called out. "Yo!" greeted Johnathan, who seemed to have either come in just in time when she was about to leave or he had waited there just for that. With a soft flush he walked up towards Sophie. "H-hey...sorry about trying to be a show-off back there..." He clasped his hands behind his back, blushing softly as he ground the balls of his shoes against the floor bashfully. "I...I was just...trying to be cool and all...Ah hey! Want to go out for some Noodles soup? It's on me!" he asked, taking his shot at Sophia, hoping for a better outcome than what Richard had.

A witness or something? Does that mean they'll be coming for me...? She thought, and as Luka held out the long coat, she blinked and stared at him to the jacket, and then back at him. "Hey Luka..." She said softly, her features softening as she reached out and touched the coat he offered - she took two extra steps, so that she was close to him as she slid on the jacket. "Accelia, you say? Guess I should keep my nose out of it, huh?" She mused, reaching up to gently touch his temple. Just the slightest suggestion, nothing over the top... A slight alteration in his memory.

She grabbed him by the hand, a frantic look in her eyes as the young pink haired woman pulled Luka away from his post. "Thank God, someone I recognize. Luka, what's going on?" Sophia asked, pulling him off down a hallway and into an empty room. Shutting the door behind him, tears began to streak down her cheek as she clung to him, sobbing lightly. "I'm so scared Luka, please hold me until it's safe for me to go...?" She asked softly, and as he wrapped the long coat around her shoulders, she gave a weak smile up at him. Sophia was so sweet, and so cute... Such a scared girl must have been visiting someone in the hospital, oh, that was right - she worked in the children's ward on certain nights. Tonight must had been one of those nights, and the lock down had obviously spooked her. Finally they said it was clear for them to go, and Sophia's warm body stepped back from him as she wiped at her tears.

"I'll see you in class, right Luka?" She asked, smiling at him and then leaning up she gently pressed her lips to his cheek, as if sealing the fabricated memory away in his mind. Stepping outside of the room, she cast a look down the hallways until she figured out which way to leave. Waiting outside for the pink haired girl was Johnathan, and her heart sunk a little - did she really want to break the poor guys heart? Stepping up to him, she fiddled with the long coat that hid away her shameful replacement clothing. "Instead of noodles, could we maybe just grab something to make back at your home?" Sophia asked, glancing behind her at the hospital. It no longer seemed like a kind place where people came to heal, instead it was a threatening building with harmful memories that she would keep to herself. "If you're buying, I can at least cook for you."

Luka shrugged. "I guess you really shouldn- Uwahhhh!!!" he cried out, visibly knocked forward, eyes blanking out to a deep blue as he remained there, head cocked back though he remained standing. A silvery stream flowed out from his mind spontaneously, dancing spirals in an extremely beautiful show, as it always had. The Silver light hovered between the two, drifting ribbons of chrome harmoniously pulsing as the light that her mind emitted rewrote his account of the scant moments they spent.. Sparkling brighter than any star, the silvery essence orbited the two. Once finished, the silver stream began to flow back into his head, causing him to back off slightly, with his head slightly pounding. Out with the old, in with the new it seems. He did not notice the butterfly insignia that reflected within his eyes. Though his eyelids were heavy and his gaze empty reflecting her figure, it began to fade back to their normal shade, no longer just a glassy ocean blue. "Uuhhh..." he gasped out, his flush spreading from the little embrace she had, before he realized their...somewhat intimate touch. His face flushed so brightly it was almost comical. Atleast he wasn't as embarrassed or humiliated as before, though it seemed to just advance his thoughts on him: their touch, to his mind was very much genuine. He flinched back when she sealed a kiss on his forehead, a flush leaving her utterly speechless. "Ah...I...I...I...A-ah...S-s...s-see y..." Well, not entirely. As he left, his face was so red that he was practically speechless from a few associate's inquisitive questions. Did they 'do it' in a hospital? Did they kiss? Was the tongue used? What was the color of her underwear? No matter how hard he tried to rebuff their questions, it seemed apparent that they kept asking and asking. What a long night for him.

Johnathan had braced himself for her to say no, but for her to say yes...he was genuinely shocked. In a good way, atleast. "Ww-w-w...w-w...WHAT?!" he asked, almost cowering back. "N-no! I...It's not that...I...I...Is...sn't it too early- I...I mean Okay!" In the back of his head he chanted his mantra of 'ThisisnotadateThisisnotadateThisisnotadate' over and over, his face so flustered it seemed almost romantic in some way. Not to mention the clothes she wore...Gulping a bit, he tried to keep himself composed, before throwing about an air of confidence. "Ahah...I...I mean, Yeah! I'd totally love if you could c-c-come over and cook..." he said, "B-but...hehehe...L-let me warn you! I cook a mean seafood Gumbo!" Whenever Johnathan laughs, it could be seen as his attempt to compose himself during times when he would fluster so brightly. Laughing once again, he slowly began to walk, trying to gently close the gap between the two of them, looking out to the right as, step by step, he tried to get closer. When he felt contact, he blushed softly, but that wasn't the only thing he felt as he was shoved a little bit forward just when he tried to lean his head onto 'her' shoulder. And by 'her', it was a male adult who stood a mean 6'7. "Watch where you're going kid!" "Wahhhh!" he said, the adult male obviously creeped out by his sudden advance as he was shoved. Stumbling back, he fell right into an open public garbage can. Getting up with a banana peel on his scalp, he rubbed his head as he chuckled softly. Even that was a bit comical, to say! After he had a good share of laughing at himself, they walked to the store.

It was mutually agreed upon that they would make some Alfredo sauce and pasta. How romantic! Maybe the two of them would slurp up the same noodle and accidentally- A flush filled his cheeks, holding the grocery bag the two walked down the municipal road. They were far from the main road, so traffic was virtually non-existent. Looking up tot he stars, while he still bore his blush, he was extremely excited yet nervous being with Sophia.

A small laugh escaped her lips as Johnathan nervously began to walk beside her. Carrying her backpack on her back, she stared up into the night sky - out here in the city, the stars rarely made their way to human eyes. The lights were too bright here in this large place, and as the two of them walked together into the store, Sophia pulled the coat from Luka closer around her... She felt exposed, like a hooker as the store clerks eyes traveled over her... Reaching out, she wrapped her arm around Johnathan's, clinging to him to hopefully force away the looks she was getting.

It was as as they walked together towards his home, in a less lit area of the city, that Sophia released Johnathan's arm, her hand slipping down his as she stole the bag of ingredients from him. Carrying them on her own, Sophia took a deep and calming breath. Carrying groceries calmed her down, as it had been just another one of those things she had done with her late brother and sister many a times. Casting a glance over as Johnathan, Sophia struggled with herself inside on if she should tell him the truth: that she would be crashing at his place for a while, or at least until the whole hospital ordeal blew over.
