I smirked at nolans comment, feeling bad for dragging him in to this but then again he was my hero for saving us from the side of the road. Nolan grinned and looked over at Raven, wiggling his eyebrows "oh, so now I'm amazing ha? I'm all badass and superhero and s**t right? Saving damsels in distress with a big N on my chest." He said teasingly, trying to lighten the mood a bit as he took the exit that left them only about five miles from where they need to be.

"why yes that is you super Nolan to the rescue, my hero" I act like a damsel in distress as I bat my eyelashes at him. "make sure you keep an eye out as the drive way will be easily missed if you haven't been here before" I say honestly as my stomach started to knot its self at the thought of seeing my family and my ex, "do you think I am doing the right thing coming back to help my ex and my family?" I ask needing to know if this wasn't just out of stupidity which is why I was doing or if I was doing it to show up my ex and prove I am better off with out him and make him regret hurting me.

Nolan's point of view

"I'm a sexy hero to, doing all in style." No one gave her a cheeky grin and then let out a soft sigh "it might be a mixture of both?" Nolan shrugged "who knows, you might learn something new. If you don't learn something new then maybe you can get some closure?" He said as he watch out for the driveway and when he finally found it, turned in slowly.

as we pulled in to the drive way I felt as if I was going to be sick, "thanks, I am glad you saved us earlier its nice to be able to talk to someone who has a iffy past just like myself. maybe you can help me not make some stupid mistake that I know I will end up doing; ill say or do something and ruin it for all of us. so thank you for being my hero" I reply as we pull up out side the house.

it looks as if he has been waiting for us, sitting on the porch is my ex. Xander. getting out of the car I slowly walk up to him. "its been a while, I figure it must be important for you to ring me after everything that happened" I reply emotionlessly as I wasn't going to let him affect me. he still looked the same as he did when we last spoke, his stupid trademark red bandanna wrapped around his forehead killing his shaggy brown hair out of his chocolate brown eyes, he hasn't shaved in a few days giving him a medium coating of stubble making him look rugged, how is it he is still attractive to me after all this time.

"rae, please don't talk to me like that, I know that voice that is your shut out voice. you use it every time you shut someone out you act as cold as ice and as tough as stone while your being torn apart on the inside. that is the same tone you used when you kicked me out. just please try to be civil to each other while you are here, I know how much you hate ohio and everything that belongs to it but its not all that bad its were we met" I try to remind her that as much as ohio has been unkind it was where we first had our start in life where I first met her.

while she will never forgive me I hope we can at least talk and befriends, I miss her more then I would let her know. I noticed she was traveling with a rather well dressed man and a small blonde with killer curves. well hello this just got interesting, I know rae might hate me now but I know she would get jealous if I was to flirt with her friend who knows I might just get lucky.

Nolan nodded "I'll do my very best, let's see how this goes" he said getting out of the car and then saying how Raven was treating the new guy that he didn't even know. Nolan walked over his word Raven side of the car, standing closer to her and casually put his arm around her "hey, I'm Nolan nice to meet you." He said offering his other hand to the new guy who he didn't know.

Lidia slid on her heels and got out of the car, she wiggled her foot around seeing that if all a bit better. She could actually put some pressure on it now as she gently stood on it coming out of the Escalade. Well, who was the new guy? So, this was the forbidden fruit that she wasn't supposed to touch right? She looked the guy up and down, he wasn't her usual cup of tea but he didn't look rather enticing considering she was supposed to avoid him. When someone told Lidia not to do something, she usually found herself doing quite the opposite. She arched a eyebrow curiously at the man and gave him a sexy smile "hi, I'm Lidia. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said managing to wiggle her hips as she went in for a hug instead of a handshake "I'm a hugger, hope you don't mind." She said in a really sweet voice, clearly getting her flirt on.

I felt at ease when Nolan wrapped his arm around me giving me the strength I needed to get through this initial encounter. it wasn't until I saw the way Lydia looked at him and how he looked at her that I felt a pain in my chest. that b***h, I told her not to flirt with him and not to hit on him and here she is being seductive what happened to the girl code. like seriously. I know he is an ex but for all I have done for her she could at least not try to get in his pants and he could not openly flirt back as if he hasn't been a constant thought in my mind since the day he left.

I shook the mans hand, "Xander nice to meet you" I assessed him as I was shaking his hand, he wasn't her type how did she even meet him? he is a tall lanky bean honestly how could this be the new man in her life? I couldn't help but to think she bought him along to make me jealous that was until the pretty blonde got out of the car.

she gave me a sexy smile as she hugged me clearly flirting as she liked what she saw. two can play this game. "oh I don't mind at all the names Xander its a pleasure to meet such a charming creature like yourself" I smile seductively at her as I kiss the back of her hand. I knew rae was the jealous type hopefully this would drive her mad, maybe then she would see that I am better then the blonde string bean and come begging for me.

No one could tell that Raven wasn't happy with the way that the new guy was staring at Lydia. He looks over at Raven and tie-ins his hold a little bit, letting her know that he was here for support. He nodded at the new guy and didn't bother to say anything else. He figured they were there for research, not making new friends. The guy clearly made Raven uncomfortable and she was his friend.

Lydia blushed and giggled at him, moving her hair back a little as to expose her gorgeous neck as he kissed her hand. "You are such a gentleman, are all guys like that here or is it just you?" She said as she licked her lips flirtatiously.

I leaned in to nolans hold as he tightened his arm around me to let me know he was here for me, I need his support more then anything right now. I don't know what I was more hurt for the fact that Lydia promised she wouldn't and is now clearly flirting or the fact that my ex doesn't have the decency to flirt when I am not around. "thank you Nolan" I whisper just loud enough for him to hear; pulling away I clear my throat. "we better get unpacked and settled for the night, we can start work in the morning I think its best we get some food and a good nights rest" I try to act chipper about everything as if its not affecting me while deep down hiding the hurt and betrayal I was feeling.

I saw the way he tightened his hold on her and she whispered in his ear, I wasn't sure if it was friendly or more then friends but either way I didn't approve. Lydia pushed her hair aside showing her flawless elegant neck. "no just me, I would say stick around and see but honestly I wouldn't want such a beautiful girl wasting her time" I replied smoothly just as rae broke the flow of our conversation. something about unpacking food and rest, I was to distracted to really care two can play this game and I can play it better.

"allow me to take your bags my dear Lydia, a lady shouldn't be left to carry such a heavy load" I give her a charming smile as I grab what I assume are her travel cases. the most expensive looking ones in the car.

Lydia smiled at him and blushed deeply "why thank you, I have a feeling this is going to be a rather enjoyable visit. I have such pleasurable company after all." She said flipping her hair to the side again flirtatiously and liking her plump lips. She really didn't know that Ohio made such sexy men, what was she going to do about it?
