Aleks nodded in return, savoring the kiss she gave him before playfully falling over next to her. "Sounds like a plan, though if I very randomly and suddenly decide to redeem said raincheck, you had better not be surprised," he said, a grin running over his facial features. Sitting up and reaching to the end of the bed, he had thought about pulling the outfits he had gotten from the dresser for them to wear, but quickly decided they weren't necessary as he pulled his own clothing off, leaving only his boxers on. Pulling himself back up next to Kiko and under the covers, he held her with one arm under her neck and the other on her waist, his hand tingling at the soft skin underneath. "Sleep well my love," he said with one last kiss.

              - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > THREE WEEKS LATER

Sadly, Aleks never completely redeemed his raincheck other than occasionally making out with the woman before bed. A lot had taken up residence in his mind as he watched her and Yori train, the field only being slightly worse for wear with a couple of blackened trees and singed plant leaves. The man himself had decided to assist Jirou and Toketsu in their training, considering weaponry combat was something he excelled in, and found it exciting to teach along the man he had always thought of as a statue. Toketsu had found it exciting also, learning to fight against two different types of weapons and against different fighting styles. By the time the third week rolled around, Toketsu had already mastered the ability to properly defend with the sword, and had even managed a hit on Jirou, and though it was weak, it had been a hit none the less.

The thing that had surprised him the most though, was Kesiom. The man had approached him late into the first week, asking to speak to him private. Aleks had agreed, being able to stand being near the man simply because he had Keiko's heart crystal helping subdue the darkness that surrounded him constantly. When they ducked inside mid-training and stopped to speak, what the other asked him threw him completely off. "You want to propose to her? Really?" Aleks had responded, completely dumbfounded. Kesiom simply nodded his head. "I do, I have no intention of ever being with anyone else, and I know how she feels for me...but I honestly have no idea how to go about this. I figured if there was anyone I could ask, it could be you," he asked, a hint of pleading at the end of his voice. Aleks just nodded. "Well, lets do this then!" he said with a smile, Kesiom reciprocating it with a thought of relief.

Over the next few days, both men had randomly disappeared into town with little detail as to what they were doing, much to the confusion of the twins. Since when did they hang out after all? Hikara, while already having added a few tricks to her arsenal, still wanted to learn more, and with Kesiom constantly disappearing it made it hard. In the mean time she trained with Keiko, teaching her mother of this time a few tricks that her future self had taught the girl. When the end of the third week finally came around, Kesiom had decided his nerves were probably not going to steady anymore than they already were, so he finally asked Keiko to go out with him one night. During their time at the house, Aleks had told him of a smaller meadow that was at least a good mile from the house during his coaching of the other man, surrounded by trees and covered in flowers at the banks. This is exactly where he had brought Keiko for their date.

As they landed, Kesiom having transported them to the meadow for the sake of avoiding a mile long walk, he gently kissed the woman in his arms before letting her down on her own two feet. In a small circle near the shore there was a spot devoid of flowers, so Kesiom led them both over there, sitting down with her in front of him as he wrapped his arms around her. Kesiom could feel his nerves practically pulsating throughout his body, and it was making it hard for him to say just about anything. Instead, he chose to remain silent, just enjoying the moment of holding her close for the time being.

[[ I know plenty of people who are obsessed with that game. xxxxThe next few weeks were full of nothing but training and the occasional break for food and sleep. Keiko couldn't really remember the last time they had all worked so hard. Seeing their future children progress so rapidly over three weeks was impressive and Keiko was constantly reminded the power of youth and perseverance just by watching them. Despite her confusion with Kesiom and Aleks occasionally disappearing for a few hours, Keiko still found herself over-all happy with what they were all accomplishing. Hikara had even taught her a few new tricks that apparently she had known in the future. She even told her about regeneration spells, something if used properly could bring someone back from the brink of death. At a terrible price, she said, but didn't delve any further into it. The healing tips came in handy as her sister tried to teach Yori the fine art of control. If she let herself think too hard on it, she probably would have laughed. Kiko..teaching control? But regardless of her sister's hot temper, you couldn't say she wasn't gifted in her element. It took Yori awhile to catch on, but after a few bad burns and forest fires, he seemed to have gotten the basics down.

xxxxShe had been ignoring her sister's sarcastic comments that day concerning her date. 'Who goes on dates anymore? What are you, twelve?' She couldn't help but be excited at the idea of an afternoon spent with Kesiom that didn't involve training or fighting of any sort. She took a little extra time getting herself ready that day, making sure her hair wasn't a mess and her little sundress matched her shoes. While she always tried to look her best, today was special. Taking another glance at the clock, she realized Kesiom was probably waiting for her downstairs and quickly went to meet him. He took the liberty of simply transporting them to the spot he had picked for their evening together, and after his kiss she took in her surroundings. It was beautiful, peaceful, and she could already feel her heart swelling at the idea he had put something like this together as he lead them to a clear patch of grass. Once sitting, she leaned herself back into his form, soaking up his presence and energy like a sponge. "This is beautiful." she commented offhandedly, craning her neck a bit to look back at him. Then she let her eyes trail back to the water, watching the soft ripples a passing breeze had created.

Kesiom couldn't help but lean his head against hers as she spoke, surprisingly a response coming to mind even with his nerves being half fried at the moment. "Just like you..." he whispered into her hair, turning her chin to face him once more and giving her one more light kiss. While normally the tingling sensation he received from the kisses he shared with her were a great feeling, at the moment they only made his nerves go tighter then he thought possible. He probably had thought over a million different ways to do it, asked Aleks, thought things through, but in the end he figured the more he thought about it the more likely he was to make a fool of himself or trip over his words. He was in essence winging it, and in result he might as well hit himself with a tazer or something for anxious and jumpy he felt.

Closing his eyes for a few minutes, he focused on his own breathing before opening them once more and looking back down to the woman held up against him. "I actually had a really important question to ask..." he said, trying his hardest to make his tone of voice sound serious over anything else. He didn't want to give it away before the question even came. "But first, I want you to close your eyes, alright?" he asked. Waiting for her to comply, he lifted her left hand up when her eyes were finally closed, giving the back of it a gentle kiss. Moving the small object in his left hand around, he managed to slip it over her left ring finger, gently pushing it down. Releasing her hand back to her lap, he spoke softly, trying to make sure his nerves were strong enough for the words he had to say. "Alright, open your eyes..." he said gently. Giving her a moment to realize what was going on, he said the phrase that he thought would be harder than anything he had done in his life previously. "Keiko Hino...will you marry me?" he asked, finding the words to be not as hard as he thought, rolling off his tongue.

[[ Here's what the ring looks like. I had fun looking for it. =D RING ]]

xxxxWhile Kesiom wasn't normally the bubbly, talkative type like Keiko was, the senshi could tell something was up with him. He seemed on edge and part of her wondered if he was sensing something she wasn't. Were they going to be ambushed? Was he in trouble? Her brain couldn't focus on any of those questions for he was kissing her again, causing her thoughts to go fuzzy. And then he spoke of a question. She was about to ask what he wanted to know because she would tell him anything, she was his open book, but he requested she close her eyes first. Giving him a inquisitive glance, she complied, letting her lids slip closed as she rested back against him.

xxxxKeiko was a smart girl; as soon as she felt a coolness slip around her finger, her heart sped. Was he doing what she thought he was? She opened her eyes at his request, immediately glancing down at the brilliant ring he had placed on her finger. Her eyes widened and she felt her chest get tight. She turned in his grasp to stare at him in surprise as he asked her to marry him. Her heart felt like it was going to crack her ribs open and beat right out of her chest, she could hear it pulsate in her ears drums as everything other than Kesiom dissolved around her. The only reason she didn't immediately respond was because of shock, shock that the man had planned this and shock he had actually asked her. Finally, she got her wits about her again, and she flung her arms around the man's neck, sending them both sprawling back onto the grass as she happily squealed, "Yes! Yesyesyes!"

Kesiom couldn't help but let out a relieved sigh as she finally shook herself from the shock he had apparently put her in and tackled him to the ground, excitedly telling him her answer. Laughing, he wrapped his arms around the girl, pushing his face up to meet hers, locking his lips against hers in a few more passionate kisses. Letting his head rest back on the ground, he let his his hand reach up and brush aside some hair from her face, a content smile pushing its way to the surface. "Now, I am officially the luckiest guy to ever exist," he said quietly, his nerves finally calming.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to say something, he suddenly became very alert just as the entire area they were in became very dark. Obviously the sun couldn't set that fast, but his wonder was quickly answered by a voice echoing around the meadow. "How sick...I can't believe my son has stooped so low..." it said, and Kesiom's eyes became wide as he recognized the voice. Holding Keiko close to him as he sat up, he got to his knees before attempting to look around just he felt Keiko violently jerked from his side. His attention immediately followed the direction she was pulled from, and what he saw caused his heart to sink. There stood his mother, her hand around Keiko's neck. "Either of you move and I'll slice her neck open in a second," she spat out, pushing one of her nails against the girls neck for emphasis. Kesiom tried to keep eye contact with Keiko, trying his hardest to tell her to listen. Unlike him, his mother's heart was completely dark, if she had one at all.

Most people had wondered if Kesiom was actually the son of this woman considering she looked much different than him. She was taller than the average female, long blonde hair to her lower back, and of course her eyes black as night. Kesiom gritted his teeth, his body screaming at him to stop her, to protect Keiko, but his mind told him staying still was obviously the best option. The fact his mother had already shown compassion and not killed them both immediately was pushing it. "What do you want?" Kesiom said coldly, and the woman's lips only curled into a smile. "I'm surprised you haven't already guessed dearest son, with those annoying brats from the future telling you every one of my plans..." she said. "I give you a simple option...come back with me, and I'll let her live. Refuse, and I kill you both right now...any questions?" she asked, and Kesiom couldn't help but feel his heart sink lower.

xxxxThe last thing Keiko exepected to happen that night was for her to get engaged, but now that she was she couldn't stop saying it over and over in her head as she felt the others lips against hers. She was engaged! There was no question about her love for this man holding her, and what with Hikara jumping in the picture there was no doubt they were destined to be together. But now it was official and she could have screamed from excitement.

xxxxAs if part of a cruel, cruel joke, the atmosphere around them took a dark turn not long after their engagement. Keiko immediately went alert, staying close as Kesiom held her tighter. Something was coming...Apparently she had spoken too soon about a peaceful evening. Without warning she felt herself ripped out of Kesiom's grasp, hoisted to her feet so violently it made her head spin. There was a firm hand at her throat, sharp nails teasingly pressing into her skin. She couldn't turn to face the attacker but knew this was Kesiom's mother, the woman they had been training to defeat. She watched the man, trying her best to stay calm. But when she demanded Kesiom return with her, she couldn't hold back, "He'll never go with you, witch." she managed to sputter through the grip on her neck. She knew this woman would use her to get to Kesiom, but she would not let him give in, they couldn't let her win...not after all they had been through.

His mother only grinned wider as Keiko spat her words at the woman, particularly enthralled by the last part. "Ah...that's right, your little b***h is from Mars, isn't she?" she said, bringing her face down next to Keiko's. "I have to say the view on the planet is fantastic, especially soaked in blood," she said, raising her other hand and raking one of her fingernails against the girls cheek, a streak of red pouring down from it. Kesiom felt his heart ping as he saw the blood run down her face, speaking up to the point he almost yelled. "Stop it! Right now!" he said, standing to his feet. The woman just looked at him with a look of disgust. "My patience is running thin, choose, or the next time she'll be bleeding to death," she growled.

Kesiom felt like he was being torn into two. The most perfect moment of his life so far, ruined by this, and now to prevent the slaughter of his fiance, he would have to submit to the darkness like he promised he wouldn't. "I'll go...but the moment I hear you go back on your word I'll take my own life," he said fiercely. He kept his eyes away from Keiko's knowing the pain inside her at his response would be blazing in her vision. His mother just smiled. "Fine, lets go then," she said as she reached her free hand out once more. Suddenly, a black shadow shot from it, almost an extension of her hand, shooting into Kesiom's chest. Kesiom felt the air lock up in his lungs as something pulled at what was in him, and as the woman clenched her hand and pulled it back, the shadows pulled out Keiko's heart crystal. Kesiom took a gasping breath as his lungs were free again, hoping she hadn't known about the crystal, cringing as it shattered in the grasp of the shadow hand.

In what seemed to be only a second, Kesiom suddenly felt an intense pain at the back of his head, and before he even had a chance to let out a pained cry or say one last thing to Keiko, the darkness washed over his consciousness. The woman had let go of Keiko, appearing next to Kesiom. With a quick movement of her hand, she had knocked him unconscious. As she bent down to grab him, she only gave the distraught girl across the meadow a malicious smile. "Don't worry, you won't have to live without him for long, I'll have him make sure to extinguish your pitiful life when you pay me a visit later," she said before she was gone in a flash of darkness, leaving Keiko alone in the once again sunny meadow, the blood running down her cheek the only physical thing signaling something had happened.

xxxxIn Keiko's mind, there was nothing this woman could do to her that would be worse than losing Kesiom to darkness. Hikara didn't have to tell her how torn up she became in the future when he had turned, she already knew how she would respond. The nail tore at the flesh of her cheek but she didn't cry out. She barely flinched. Instead, she kept her eyes trained on Kesiom, trying to mentally tell him he didn't have to do this. But she knew, deep down, his love for her would ultimately be what did them in.

xxxxHearing him agree felt like a punch in the chest, hurt her more than anything this woman could dish out..."Kesiom...no!" she couldn't even scream, her lungs ceased as she watched his own mother reach her darkness into his chest and crush the last hope they had of keeping control. As if in a nightmare, she watched Kesiom loose himself in his darkness. In the same instant, she was dropped harshly on the ground, looking up just in time to see the woman knock out Kesiom, mocking her before they vanished. Not only had she taken Kesiom, she was already on Mars, already attacking...No, no no no...none of this was right. This was all wrong! Tears poured from her eyes as she tried her hardest to focus on Aleks' place. She was all but hysterical as she landed in the main hall, immediately bolting for her sister's room. "SHE TOOK HIM! She ******** took him right from under me, oh god-" she fell to her knees then, shaking with sobs. Her sister quickly came up beside her, she could feel the woman's hands along her arms as she gave her a firm shake as if to snap her out of her hysterics. "She...she knew...we were warned. She's attacking now. She...she took Kesiom."

Since the day had been winding down, most of the household had retreated to their respective rooms, excluding the couple that had gone out of course. Aleks had been relaxing in the room with Kiko when Keiko burst in, hysterically screaming. Kesiom had let the man in on the fact that their date tonight was to be the time he asked, and looking to the crying woman's hand, he saw the ring the two had picked out in town. Aleks watched as Kiko tried to get a hold of the woman's sanity, Aleks standing up from the chair he was sitting in. "Does he still have the heart crystal?" he asked half-heartedly. If the woman already knew they had pre-warned, there was no doubt she had eradicated the crystal as part of her own plans.

Hikara had been in her own room, easily sensing her mother's energy as she returned, but quickly became confused as she was alone, her father's energy not returning with hers. Pushing herself from the position she had been sitting on the bed, she walked out to the staircase and walked up, hearing her mother crying hysterically as her pace quickened. Just as she heard the words though, she stopped at the top of the stairs. Her nightmare, her future...it was coming true, coming to be already. Walking over, she felt tears of her own welling up in her eyes as she saw her mother crying, visions of her future mother in the same position running past her eyes. Kneeling down next to the woman, she felt one tear come from her own eye as she let her head rest against the shoulder of the sobbing woman. She didn't know what to say...no matter what she had told her mother in the future, nothing was able to soothe a broken heart.

Sno had been watching Jirou and Toketsu finish their training off outside just as Keiko's energy reappeared back in the house. Letting her senses out though, she felt it was frantic, like she had barely been able to concentrate to get here. Motioning for the boys to stop, she ushered them to come inside, walking in just to see Hikara stop at the top of the stairs, then walk to the location of where Sno heard crying coming from. Walking up the stairs after the girl, she came around the corner to see Keiko kneeling on the floor, Hikara and her both crying, and Kiko and Aleks trying to get a grasp on what was happening. "What happened?" the ice senshi asked, even though she was sure of the answer that was coming. Kesiom obviously wasn't there, and Keiko looked hurt, both mentally and physically by the blood that was mixing with the tears falling from her face.

xxxxKiko wasn't usually the type to cuddle or relax in times of crisis, as she liked to put their current situation. But after a pretty good bout of sparring with Yori earlier in the day, the senshi wanted nothing more than to lay in bed with Aleks and pretend they weren't preparing for a war. She had tried to pry the man into telling her what he knew about Kesiom and Keiko, seeing as how he had a knowing smile on him when the two left earlier, but he had merely smiled and told her she'd know eventually. When her sister burst into their room in complete disarray, she knew immediately this was no what Aleks had meant. Kiko rose to her feet, reaching Keiko's side with urgency that only came from a deep concern for family. She had her hands on her sister's shoulders as the girl shook beneath her palms. She was hysterical. Instinct took over and she shook her twin. Not hard enough to hurt but firm enough to try and get her to calm down. But how could she? Hikara and Yori had tried to warn them of this and yet it was happening anyway. The b***h ******** found out! She didn't have time to wonder just how that had happened, her main concern was her sister.

xxxxYori couldn't help but hear the commotion. He was in his own room right next to his parents, and with the way his Aunt screamed on her return...anyone in the entire mansion could hear. He came into the room just in time to see Hikara knelling beside her mother, the two looking very forlorn and disturbed. He wanted to ask what had happened, even opened his mouth to do so, but a firm look from Kiko shut it again. Now was not the time.

xxxxWhen Keiko's energy returned, Jirou noticed the fluctation in the atmosphere as well. He wordlessly looked to Toketsu who was in mid strike, holding up a hand to cease him. He looked across at Sno with an inquisitive gaze who was motioning for them both to follow her back inside. He turned back to Toketsu to make sure he had seen it as well before following the woman back inside. Aleks and Kiko's door was wide open and he could see the hunched forms of Hikara and Keiko there by the entrance. Something was wrong. Where was Kesiom? Hadn't they left together?

xxxxKiko had released her hold on her sister by the time the group filed in to the room, but stayed close out of instinct. She turned to look up at Sno, a hardened look on her face. A look she reserved when having to give bad news. "Kesiom was taken. Somehow, she found out that we were warned, we preparing for her. Did she know about the crystal too?" a pitiful nod from her sister was all she needed. Her heart fell to the pit of her stomach. She didn't say anything else, not knowing what she could possibly convey that would make this situation seem any better. There was a long, uncomfortable pause, the only noise coming from the soft whimpers of Keiko.

xxxx"If she knew we heard wind of her plans, we have to assume she has gone through with them ahead of schedule. It's her only way of getting the upper hand." Jirou broke the silence, his voice steady and methodical. He too found this whole situation unpleasant, but in times of crisis he was known for keeping a level head. Losing your marbles didn't help, only hindered. The look Kiko gave him was one of annoyance, knowing she didn't like how detached her could act sometimes. He ignored this of course, and continued. "We don't have the luxury of time anymore. We need to strike now and get Kesiom back before it's impossible to reverse."

Hikara quickly pulled her tears back as she stood up, grabbing her mother's hand to help her as she noticed the ring. Her eyes widened...that b***h took her father the day he proposed? Oh, she was going to give that woman an earful before she smacked her around for a while. When standing, she turned to Toketsu and Yori, motioning out to the center of the house.

Sno let out a deep breath, her mind calculating as she heard the news passed on that she had figured on. Dammit, this is not what they needed right now, but evil never works around your schedule, that was for sure. Before she could even say anything, Jirou took the words from her, Sno simply nodding in agreement as Hikara made a motion for everyone to walk. "What are you going to do?" Sno asked the girl as she walked by her, hopping down the steps before stopping the middle of the floor and looking back. "We wouldn't very well warn you guys about the attack if we couldn't get you there, would we?" she half asked, half implied.

Toketsu could only feel the same hurt he had felt a million times over in his future. His own mother crying, Keiko crying, Aleks stressed beyond hell, they were all in agony in his future and already one of the three was forced into that agony in the present. As Hikara made her way past him, he nodded, following down to the floor shortly after she stopped. "As long the three of us are surrounding everyone, we can get you to Mars easily," the young man elaborated. "Everyone should transform first though, since the extra power behind your transformation will hopefully make the progress a little smoother," he said with a small grimace. Sure, they had the ability to transport them to the other planet as a group, but then again, when do you get the chance to really practice something like that?

Sno nodded, her compact coming out of her pocket as the small flurry of snow surrounded her transformation. When it was finished, she refrained from summoning the Blizare until later, considering if it didn't go as smoothly as planned, she didn't feel like impaling someone upon landing. Jirou and Toketsu had already been transformed, and for the first time since she had been there, Hikara took her own compact out, transforming into her own senshi fuku.

Aleks waited to make sure Kiko had helped Keiko up from her state on the floor, hoping the woman would be alright to make the trip. Aleks himself couldn't imagine having Kiko torn from him right after something like that happened, and he couldn't even imagine what was going through her at the moment. Letting everyone else gather on the main floor, fidgeting with his ring Aleks also transformed. Hikara then spoke up. "Alright, parents need to stand by the respective children, helps in the process," she said, her heart pinging at the thought of her father being gone. Quickly pushing that out of her mind, she nodded to Toketsu and Yori, holding her hands out to her sides and closing her eyes.

Toketsu followed suit as soon as Jirou and Sno were standing in front of him, closing his eyes as he concentrated the energy necessary to get them where they were going. In this triad, Hikara was the one to steady the transport, Yori was the power behind them going, and Toketsu was the one to pinpoint where they needed to land. As the energy grew in the circle, the children's energy shot out and met at the corners, forming a triangle of blue, red, and purple energy from their perspective elements. And in a moment of crackling energy, they were gone.

During transport though, even though Hikara did her best to keep it steady, the atmosphere of Mars was more chaotic than she thought it was going to be. As they hit it, Hikara felt her energy become quickly disrupted, the balance of the triangle becoming lopsided as the three groups were quickly separated as the triangle broke.

Hikara felt them coming in quickly towards the ground, and with only one other person in her part of the transport, she quickly grabbed onto them, landing hard on her back as the two skidded through the rocks. When the finally came to a stop, Hikara let her arms down as she felt the cuts on her back trying to heal themselves. "Well, that didn't work too well..." she said more so to herself, opening one eye to her mother.

[[ I'mma let you control the other two landings, alright? ]]

xxxxYori had been busy going over things in his own head when he noticed Hikara stand again, giving them the motion to follow. While he knew what she was proposing they do, he couldn't help but feel dread in him at the idea of going far earlier than they had planned. Were they ready? A large part of him didn't want to see his home planet, either. The beginnings of war always looked the worst. But there were bigger things going on, bigger than himself, and he followed Toketsu and Hikara without a word.

xxxxKeiko could feel her heart beating in her eardrums, loud and contradictory to what she felt in her chest. It was hallow, brittle, and she was sure a strong enough punch in the stomach would shatter her entire being. She could hear the others speaking around her, knew what was going on and what they had to do, and yet she couldn't get herself to focus or even comment. It wasn't until her sister gently urged her to her feet that she finally seemed to snap back into reality. At least, for the most part. Once they were all in the main part of the room, she followed Hikara's command and transformed, standing beside her in the small triangle the others had created. Jirou and Kiko had followed suit as well, each preparing themselves for what was to happen next. She took a final glance at her sister before she felt the ground give way beneath her feet.

(ok so hold on plz i'm going to write seperate replies for each person now. i think it'll be easier on my brain that way lmao)

xxxxThe transport was rough, to put it lightly. Yori was to be the powerhouse behind the move, and he could feel his body tingle as they began. There was a giant tug in his chest, like someone had hooked him and was trying to yank him away from the hands he held. Aleks had told him before they left to not let go. Above all circumstances, do not let go. But as they were nearing the end of their transport he could feel himself slipping, his power draining dramatically and his grip went loose. Both hands ripped from his grasp as they hit the atmostphere. He didn't have time to curse their luck. He quickly grabbed hold of both Kiko and Aleks as they made a rather unpleasant landing.

xxxxThe only reason Kiko hadn't broken something when the landed was probably due to her battle training. She hit the ground and immedaitely went into a roll. Not quite as controlled as she would have liked, but at least a few minor scratches was better than a broken leg. She grimmanced but got to her feet as soon as her vertigo left.

xxxxKiko had never been to Mars. At least, never when she was old enough to remember. She had no idea what it was supposed to look like. But when she finally let herself take in their surroundings, she was certain it wasn't supposed to look like this.

xxxxThey had landed on the outskirts or what appeared to be a town at one point. Despite just glancing, it was obvious the quaint brick houses lining the street were empty. The entire place felt empty. The air was thick and stale with Mars’ natural heat, at yet a faint scent of blood was mixed in for good measure. Some homes looked untouched while others were practically blown off their foundations. Windows were shattered, black char marks were strewn about what was left of the buildings, and there was even a fire still burning somewhere toward the end of the street. In short, as far as the eye could see was in absolute disarray. The mere sight caused Kiko’s legs to tremble, her eyes pricked with tears. This…this was her home. She took a small sidelong glance at Keiko and to her horrible surprise couldn’t find the girl anywhere. It wasn’t until just then that she realized only herself, Aleks, and Yori were in her direct eyesight. Apparently their transport had gone wrong somewhere. She turned back to Yori to ask what the hell had happened, but barely got out the 'What' before she noticed his state.

xxxxHe was still on the ground after landing. He had hit the surface hard, like a rock skidding across a pond, and came to a crushing halt not six yards from her. And he wasn't moving. "YORI!" she ran to his side, quickly checking for a pulse. He had one, but she couldn't sense the usually fierce energy within him. Their transport had zapped him entirely. She looked up at Aleks, her face set in worry, "This isn't good."

xxxxShe knew she was falling. She could tell by the air whizzing by her ears, ripping at her eyes, they were free falling. She wracked her brain in that split second for what to do for a landing, but quickly felt Hikara grab her as they hit the ground. The girl had taken most of the impact, but it still rattled Keiko's body as they came to a halt. Looking up at Hikara, she murmured that things hadn't gone so well.

xxxxKeiko looked around, seeing nobody else but Hikara, and a very chaotic atmosphere. They had landed within eyesight of the main castle; she could see it towering not much more than a mile from them. It looked eerie standing there, the sky dark and red behind it. She wasn't sure where exactly they were, but there was nothing but destruction around them. Whatever this place had been once, it was no longer. Buildings were rubble at their feet, and the inhuman quiet that surrounded them did little to settle her nerves. The Queen had indeed made her attack, and made it hard. She tried her best not to let her emotions get the best of her as she looked on what was her home, and instead turned to Hikara, "Can you sense them at all?" she wasn't expecting the girl to say yes, considering she herself couldn't sense anyone in this chaos. There were energies all around, most of it dark and daunting.

Feeling the tug behind the transformation, Aleks let it take its course until he felt the energy the three were giving out weaken, and ultimately break as they hit the atmosphere. Feeling someone grab him, he only had moments as the sight of the ground rushing towards him came into view, and thinking quickly, he reached onto his back and pulled out the Nigotsoru. As he came in contact with the ground, he did a similar roll as Kiko did, and when his roll ended and he was on his feet, he stuck the sword end of his staff into the ground to keep himself from rolling again. After tearing apart the ground in front of him after sliding a few feet, the man finally came to a halt, standing and forcefully pulling his weapon from the ground, sheathing it before looking at the town, or what was once a town that they had narrowly avoided in their landing.

It was in ruins, and immediately Aleks felt his heart sink. Looking to Kiko, his thoughts were confirmed...it was definitely not a great first sight of your birth place. Then suddenly Kiko noticed the same thing he did only moments later, only their corner of the triangle had landed together, and before he even began looking for their son Kiko had already found him, quickly giving her examination to Aleks. The man just grimaced, running over and kneeling next to the boy. Focusing on the light inside of himself, he let his hands wander over the smaller cuts he could see on the boy, healing them quickly, but realizing that it wasn't only an outer thing that the young man was suffering from, but more so his complete drain of his energy.

Looking around for a moment, Aleks slid his hands under the boys body, heaving him up into his arms. "He needs to rest for a little bit, but we need to get somewhere safer..." Aleks said, noticing that standing next to what seemed a recently destroyed city wasn't the greatest idea for a place to stop. Just as he was about to turn, he felt something sharp against his neck, a low voice emitting from behind him. "Do not move or all three of you traitors will be dead," the voice said, and Aleks' eyes widened. Using his speed to avoid any attack that could be landed, he turned quickly, looking eye to eye with his father. "Father? Since when am I a traitor?" he asked, the other man's features lighting up as his realization also came, but then quickly came to confusion. "What are you doing here Aleks, and who are these two?" he asked, pointing to Yori in his hands and Kiko standing next to him.

Aleks took a deep breath, thinking his words through for a moment. "Long story made short, so bear with me, alright? This boy I am holding is from the future and his name is Yori. Him and two other children came to warn us of a future that can best be described as hell. This beauty standing next to me is Kiko Hino, the Pyrotiem wielder. In this boy's future she is consumed by darkness along with another ally of ours. That other man has already been taken, and we're here now to hopefully retrieve him and put an end to this," he said, speaking fast enough to put it all into a few breaths. Them man just listened, nodding his head as the tactical side of him digested the information without letting his mind question too much.

The man looked at Yori for a second, then looked back to Aleks. "The boys armor...it's an odd mixture of colors. Where is he from in his time?" he asked, and Aleks briefly looked at Kiko before responding to his father. "He is a warrior of both Mars and Venus...he is Kiko and I's son, your grandson in effect," he said with a small shrug, the look on his father's face of complete shock. "Oh." was all the other could manage. Aleks shook his head to hopefully dispel some of the shock. "He was hurt in our transportation here though and needs to rest...is your base nearby?" Aleks asked, the man nodding and signaling for them to come with him

Walking a short distance, rounding a large outcropping a small camp came into sight, tents strewn around and men dressed in the crimson armor of Mars sitting in what seemed a much appreciated moment of relaxation. As Aleks' father approached, a more decorated looking officer approached and with a salute went to talk, only to stand there, staring at Kiko. "Is...is it her? Is that the princess?" the man asked, bewildered. Aleks looked to Kiko, forgetting that the people would most likely recognize the colors of her transformation as this man did, and before any of them had a chance to say something, the man turned and faced the other about 20 men that were stationed in the camp. "The princess is here! The wielder is here!" he announced, before suddenly turning and bowing to Kiko. "We are honored your highness..." he said quietly, remembering his manners in front of royalty. Quickly after the first had bowed, the rest of the camp following suit as every man dropped to his knees for Kiko.
