Jaden and Aki's RP of OH SNAP

"Sasuke... Did you see that??"
Sasuke nodded, keeping quiet. He took his backpack off his shoulders, watching Jaden carefully. The area around them had gone dead quiet once more - and almost instantly too - as soon as Jaden had punched that tree.
'another genjutsu...?' He asked himself, wondering if that had been the sign they were caught in it in the first place. 'Not possible...'
"I"m exhausted!! Not to mention starving!!"
Sasuke gave a sigh as he pulled a ration box out of his backpack. Naruto should have been smart enough to bring one himself - But then again, he was Naruto.
"In that case were going to need to find some wood to build a fire, and some food"
Jaden shook her head.
"I'm not hungry." She whispered, even though she hadn't eaten all day. She sat in silence with her eyes closed, trying to calm down once more. For some reason it was getting harder to stay in control of her emotions.



Haku let out a small chuckle.
"It could be.." He whispered, continuing to play with the girls hair absentmindedly. "Akimoto - look... a shooting star" He smiled as the star streaked across the sky. "Make a wish..."

Sakura watched as Sasuke pulled out his ration box before she looking over at Naruto and sighing. He hadn't brought something to eat with him had he?? As much as Sakura didn't mind sharing her food, she didn't want to share all of it with Naruto. Especially because that food had been for her and Sasuke. Perhaps she could give him some of the omusubi from her side of the box, that way she would still have some of hers left, and she wouldn't have to give him any of Sauske's. Sakura smiled. Yeah that would work, in the end she could help both Naruto and still share the omusubi with Sasuke.

Sakura walked over to Naruto and sighed again. "Here" she said, taking the omusubi box out of her pack, then opening it and putting some of hers in a bag for Naruto.

A wide grin spread across the blonde's face. "Gee!! Thanks Sakura!!" He said happily before chowing down on the omusubi. Sure it was no ramen, but it was food and Naruto was starving!!

Sakura simply gave Naruto a smile before going over to Sasuke and offering him the omusubi from his side of the box. "Did you want some??" She said with a smile "I know it's your favorite, it even has tomatoes on it" She giggled.

Kakashi smiled as he watched his team bound over the food they had brought with them. It looked like they wouldn't have to go find some after all, considering that he too had a ration pack with him.

"I'm not hungry."

He looked over at Jaden and nodded. He wasn't going to force her to eat if she did'nt want to. "Do you think that you can stay here with everyone while I go find some firewood??"





When Haku chuckled Akimoto smiled up at him again. She was beaming, she loved to hear him laugh, to see him smile. His happiness meant everything to her. She blushed as Haku played with her hair. She loved it when people did that, it gave her this feeling of comfort, and the fact that Haku was the one doing it made her all warm and fuzzy inside. "Akimoto - look... a shooting star" The girls eyes shot up towards the sky. Haku was right!! It was a shooting star!! "Make a wish..." The girls blush only grew "I wish..." She said quietly "I wish that I'll be able to stay with you forever" She then closed her eyes and smiled. At this point her face was cherry red.

"I wish... I wish that I'll be able to stay with you forever"

Haku looked down at the girl, his face almost as red as hers.
"Forever..?" He whispered. Forever was a very long time - he wasn't sure if Zabuza would agree to such terms.
Haku shook his head - This wasn't about Zabuza. This was about Akimoto and himself. He smiled widely, his fingers moving from her hair to gently stroke her cheek. She was so beautiful in the moonlight, smiling like that - he just couldn't resist touching her.
Suddenly realizing what he was doing, he quickly pulled his hand away.

"I am sorry!" He blurted out, slightly flustered. "I did not mean to..."





Sasuke watched as Sakura passed Naruto some of her meal. He frowned - why was she feeding that looser?? He glared at Naruto as he accepted the food. What made him so special??
"Did you want some?? I know it's your favorite, it even has tomatoes on it"

Sasuke snapped from his thoughts as the girl spoke to him. He smiled at her, and nodded, accepting the food before glancing smugly at Naruto.

Jaden looked down as her stomach made a quiet growl, and hoped no one had heard.
"Do you think that you can stay here with everyone while I go find some firewood??"
She looked up at Kakashi, and around at the small group.
"I'll go." She whispered, getting up. "You need to watch your team." She brushed the grass from her clothes, and headed into the darkness of the forest.





Jaden sighed, pulling what little amount of dry wood she could find into a pile. The animals had vanished once again - and she knew exactly why. only a nights worth of mediation would cure her this time - she had her doubts it would be so easy like before. She growled quietly in her frustration. Why was this becoming so difficult? At least she wasn't in danger of losing control. Not yet.

"Forever..?"

Akimoto opened her eyes and looked up at Haku. His face was just as red as hers was, she couldn't help but let out a giggle before nodding. "Yes" She whispered "Forever" The next thing she knew his hand was on her cheek, stroking it. Her face just redden even more at his touch. It was so gentle, so soft. A single tear slipped down her cheek and gave him a gentle smile, eye full of happiness.

"I am sorry!"

Akimoto blinked in surprise when he pulled his hand away. Why was he sorry?? He didn't need to be sorry. He hadn't made her uncomfortable in the least

"I did not mean to..."

Those may have been his words, but Akimoto knew it her heart that he had. He was only apologizing because he feared he was making her uncomfortable. The girl smiled smiled up and him and gently took his hand, placing it back on her cheek. "You don't need to be sorry" She said softly "I don't mind"





Sakura's smile only grew when Sasuke accepted the omusubi. She was happy that he did, she had been excited to share it with him ever since the lady at the food stand had given it to her. She then sat down beside him, placing the box in the middle so they could both eat from it, before taking some omusubi from her side of the box and placing it in her mouth. Mmm!! It was so good!! Next time she needed meal in Konoha she would go back there for sure!! She would also have to thank the lady for giving her and Sasuke the box. It really came in handy!!

"I'll go."

Kakashi blinked in surprise.

"You need to watch your team."

A smile crossed his face. "Thank you" He said as he watched her take off into the forest. He then went over to his team and sat down with them. He pulled his ration box out of his one of his pouches before setting it in his lap and opening it. He then took the set of chopsticks from inside the box and began to eat.

Naruto glared at Sasuke as he munched on the omusubi Sakura had given him. He didn't like the look Sasuke had given him. Stupid Sasuke was so lucky!! He got to share the box with Sakura while he just got a bag!! Naruto was thankful for what Sakura had given him, but still. Sasuke always got attetion!! He munched on his food angirly as he contined to glare at he Uchiha.

Haku's eyes widened as the girl placed his hand back on her cheek. What was she doing...? His hand began to shake - This feeling...
He watched her, unmoving for a solid minute, trying to get a hold of himself. He felt strange...
"Akimoto..." He whispered, slowly caressing her cheek once more. He could feel his heart racing - something about her was drawing him to her. He finally gave in to his feelings as he slowly leaned forward, and closed his eyes, allowing his body to do as it desired.
For a brief moment, He gently touched his lips to hers, and pulled away, watching her for a reaction. He couldn't deny he was scared - what was she going to say? Had he crossed the line...?





Jaden kicked a small rock out of her way, and threw the wood in her hands on to the pile. Why wasn't it settling down?? She threw some angry punches into one of the trees, watching as scorch marks became visible in the moonlight.
'Stop it!' she told herself. 'Stop with the restlessness - You're starting to annoy me!!' She angrily clenched her fists as her chakra began to boil - she could return to the group like this! She threw her back to the tree, watching as her skin began to emit a subtle orange glow.
'You've pushed me down for too long, Jaden. I need to move...'
Jaden closed her eyes, forcing her body to relax.
"No... Not now." She whispered. "I can't deal with this now..."





Sasuke stopped eating and looked up. He could feel it - the strange chakra - it was stronger now. That feeling - telling him to run... it was pressing in the back of his mind. Sasuke glanced at Sakura, and to Kakashi, wondering if they had felt the same thing.

Akimoto's heart began to race as Haku's hand shook against her cheek. She wasn't sure why. All his hand was doing was shaking, but there something about it made her heart skip a beat. She looked up at him. He seemed afraid. She hadn't made him uncomfortable she?? The female frowned, only for that frown to turn into a surprised look when Haku caressed her cheek.

"Akimoto..."

The girl couldn't help but smile up at him, and the next thing she knew his lips were on hers. Her heart began to race like crazy. It had only been for a brief second but it happened!! It actually happened!! He kissed her!!, and this time it had not been on her forehead but on her lips!! She was the happiest girl in the world right now!! She could no longer contain herself. She blurted out the words she had been wanting to stay to him for so long. "I love you!! I love you so much!!!" She said, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks before tackled him to the ground and began to kiss him passionately.





Kakashi had been about to take another bite of his food when a strong chakra presence entered the air. He stopped, placing his chopsticks down before looking around him. This chakra... it was strong... there something chilling about it, it was like Naruto's yet... different. Kakashi's eyes widened. Jaden could'n possibly be a jinchuuriki could she?! How?! How was this possible?! He looked back at his team. Sasuke and Sakura had noticed chakra was well, he could tell by the looks on their faces. Naruto however, had not. The jonin let out a sigh, that was so typical of him. Naruto was much to focused on glaring at Sasuke to even sense there was danger a foot. Kakashi packed up his food before putting in back in his pocket. "Everyone keep calm, but be prepared" He said pulling out a kunai just in case. He wasn't sure what was going to happen, but whatever it was he needed to protect his team.

Sakura nodded in reply, while Naruto simply blinked "Huh??" He said, giving Kakashi a confused look "What are you talking about Kakashi-sensei??"

"I love you!! I love you so much!!"
Before Haku could respond, he was tackled into the dirt, the girl on his chest, kissing him passionately. He blinked, surprised - he had never kissed a girl before - did they all act this way? He slowly began to relax, gently wrapping his arms around Akimoto's body. Her touch was so gentle and her lips so soft... everything he had imagined... Everything felt so right...





Sasuke watched his sensei carefully, and slowly reached for his own kunai. Something was up. He glanced at Naruto.
"Shut up, Idiot." He said simply, listening for any movement in the trees. the silence in itself almost scared him. He looked to Kakashi, asking the one question he was afraid to know the answer to. "Where is Jaden sensei...?"





Jaden stared at her shaking hands, panic washing over her. She needed help - she couldn't contain him this time - but there was no one to help her. Tsunade had warned her about his, before they were briefed on the mission. She had been warned not to let her emotions control her - but what had she been doing since she left??
It was all Tsuande's fault anyway - assigning a mission with Kakashi - She knew the kind of pressure she was putting on Jaden.
She shut her eyes tightly as the chakra grew brighter around her, taking the form of flames. the grass at her feet began to singe and die.
"No.." She whispered. She couldn't hold it back anymore.

Akimoto blushed when Haku wrapped his arms around her. The tears of joy just kept falling down her cheeks.. She was happy... Very happy... Never in her life had she been this happy... She continued to kiss him for while before releasing it. She then put both her hands on his cheeks and looked him in the eyes "Thank you..." She whispered as the tears continued to fall "Thank you for everything..."





"Shut up, Idiot."

Naruto growled at Sasuke. "No you shut up!!"

"Enough!!" Kakash said glaring at the two of them "This is no time for angurments. Our lives may be on the line!!" Kakashi wasn't sure what was going on, but had a bad feeling that this chakra may be coming from Jaden... if that was the case... what was he supposed to do?...

Naruto's eyes widened at Kakashi's words and and he shut up.

"Where is Jaden sensei...?"

Kakashi drew in a sharp breath before answering Sasuke "I don't know..."

Sakura's eye widened as well and she grabbed a kunai of her own. This chakra... it could'nt possibly be from Jaden-sensei, could it?!

"I don't know..."
Sasuke frowned, and climbed to his feet, a kunai resting firmly in his hand. Something shifted in the trees around them, causing him to turn sharply, ready to attack. His eyes flicked between the branches of the trees - he could have sworn he saw something flicker - like fire.
A low growl rang out in the darkness behind Kakashi, sending a chill up Sasuke's spine. What in the world was that...? He watched the glow on the trees carefully, unable to see the beast responsible. What was this - another Genjutsu? some kind of trick to scare them off the trail? What point was there in that, They were already lost.
Sasuke gathered his composure, watching the rest of his team carefully. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't friendly.





Haku smiled at the girl, gently wiping the tears from her face. She seemed so calm and so happy.
"Why are you crying, Akimoto?" He whispered, a little concerned. He suddenly froze, a wave a strange chakra passing through the air - but it wasn't unfamiliar - He had felt it before when they were travelling with the Konoha ninja. He carefully sat up, looking around. Its source cant have been that far away. "What is that..." He whispered.

Kakashi's eyes darted back and forth. There was something wrong here. Terribly wrong. Then, he heard the roar. In an instant he whipped his body around to the direction it came. His hand instinctively went up to his headband. Whatever they were about to face was extremely dangerous. He would have no choice. He flipped his headband up, reveling his sharingan.

At the sound of the roar, Sakura's eyes widened and she stayed close to Sasuke, while Naruto yelped and jumped to his feet. Now he finally understood what Kakashi-sensei was talking about! Much like the rest of his team he drew a kunai, before holding it firmly in front of him. He was so ready for this!!





"Why are you crying, Akimoto?"

Akimoto let out a giggle. "Because I"m happy!!" She said, smiling widely as more happy tears fell down her cheeks. "You've made me the happiest girl in the world!!" She then closed her eyes and titled her head to the side. The next thing she knew a strange chakra entered the air and much like Haku she froze for a few good seconds.

"What is that..."

In an instant, Akimoto got to her feet before helping Haku to his and wrapping her arms aorund him protectively. One of her hands fell to her side where her senbon pouch was. She would never let anyone hurt him!! Never!!

Sasuke watched as the glow grew closer to the group. He made sure Sakura was behind him - he wasn't about to let her get hurt. He watched as Kakashi revealed his sharingan - Whatever it was, it was serious.
"What is that..." He whispered. He frowned, activating his sharingan as well. The moment his eyes hit the figure, he let out a quiet gasp. "Jaden sensei...."
Jadens eyes were completely focused on Kakashi - the source of her anger and pain from her past. She was sitting on one of the tree branches, her body surrounded with orange firey chakra forming large burning wings on her back. Her eyes had turned a shade of green, a cat-like slit running down the middle. She let out another growl at him, before leaping toward him.
Her attack was cut short as she found herself kicked aside, her back slamming into a tree. Seconds later, the sound of metal slicing into wood erupted around the small group.
"I knew there was something I didn't like about you."
Jadens hands slipped harmlessly across the smooth metal of Zabuzas sword as she tried to pry it away from her neck. He had her trapped against the tree, the half circle in his sword around her throat. She let out a loud growl, trying to kick Zabuza away.
He gave a sigh, not knowing what to do with the woman.





Haku pulled Akimoto close to him, his hand grasping his senbon tightly. What on earth was this chakra...? It was unlike anything he had trained for. He moved closer to the fire, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. He wasn't going to let anyone - or anything - take Akimoto away from him.

"Jaden sensei...."

Sakura's eyes widened as she looked in the direction Sasuke was looking. It was Jaden-sensei alright... but she looked different. The fiery chakra... the wings... and those eyes... Sakura had seen those eyes before... Expect they were not green... they were red and they did not belong to Jaden. Slowly Sakura's eyes trailed over to Naruto. That was where she had seen them before... Naruto... Her eyes trailed from Naruto, to Sasuke, then back to Naruto again. "You don't think?..." She whispered to both of them... How could this be possible??...

Naruto stared in shock at Jaden-sensei... she... she looked like him... did this mean??... He looked over at Sakura when he spoke. Her voice was but a whisper, but she had a point. All Naruto could do was whisper back to her. "I think..." His voice trailed off for a moment. "I think you're right Sakura..."

For once in a very long time, Kakashi froze in place. He never been one to freeze up, if he did it happened rarely. The site before him... It was just so shocking to the point where it made him freeze stiff. He had known Jaden all his life, never, never once he had seen her in this condition. How long?? How long had she been an jinchuuriki??, and why was he never told anything about it?? It was obvious that she had been good at hiding it... but what had caused her to snap like this all of a sudden?? Had it been him?? Kakashi didn't understand... he hadn't done anything...

The next thing he knew she was leaping at him. Was what she doing?! What had he done to make her angry?! Kakashi didn't understand. However, this was when the unexpected happened.
In a matter of seconds Jaden had went from leaping at him to going flying backward into a tree.

A growl escaped Kakashi's lips.

Zabuza.

"I thought you said you were leaving" The male threatened. His appearance only threw Kakashi further into confusion. He couldn't tell if Zabuza was trying to protect them or kill Jaden, but either way, if even thought for a second that he could take her life. He was sorely mistaken.

"THATS IT!!" Naruto screamed "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!!" First Sakura and now Jaden-sensei?? Ooo he was going to pay for this!! With that Naruto bolted towards him, kunai drawn.

"NARUTO!! DON'T!!" Sakura screamed in horror. Was he insane?! He was going to get himself killed!! If Zabuza didn't do it then Jaden-sensei would!!





Akimoto blushed when Haku pulled her close. She noticed the senbon in his hand and couldn't help but smile. He reacted the exact same way she had. With that she pulled out some senbon of her own. They would protect each other. The thought of it caused her to smile and blush even more.

"Naruto!" Sasuke warned, leaving Sakura's side and bolting towards him. He quickly grabbed his shoulder, and pulled him back before he got too close to Jaden and Zabuza. "Don't just rush in there, you Idiot! You'll get yourself killed!!" He frowned as he failed to see a reason why this was a bad thing.
Zabuza glanced over his shoulder, and glared at the two boys.
"You should be thanking me." He growled. "I just saved your lives." He stepped back as Jaden gave a loud roar, waves of orange chakra expelling from her body, burning the grass at his feet. He glanced toward Kakashi. "You're lucky I wasn't far away. She would have torn you to shreds without a second thought. Tell me, She is your... comrade. What are your plans on dealing with this?"





Haku continued to stare into the darkness. The chakra wasnt getting any stronger, and he could tell whatever it was - wasnt close enough to be a threat. He began to calm down, and put away his senbon. He smiled warmly at Akimoto.
"I think we're safe." He whispered. "I don't know what that was..." He let out a small sigh. "Please, get some rest, Akimoto. I will watch over you."

"Naruto!"

The next thing the blonde knew, he felt something grab at his shoulder and pull him back.

"Don't just rush in there, you Idiot! You'll get yourself killed!!"

He looked back at Sasuke and glared before looking at the ground. Sasuke was right... he probably would have got himself killed... He had let his anger get the better of him again...

Sakura could only stare at the scene before her in confusion. Zabuza was helping them now?? Ugh... all of this was too confusing...

"You're lucky I wasn't far away. She would have torn you to shreds without a second thought. Tell me, She is your... comrade. What are your plans on dealing with this?"

Kakashi simply glared at the male. What did he want??, and why was it he cared so much all of a sudden?? Kakashi wasn't sure he could trust him. "I'll find a way. Why did you come back here??" he watched him suspiciously





Akimoto stayed where she was. Gripping tightly on her senbon. She was on high alright, ready to attack anything that decided to strike. No one was going to hurt Haku, not on her watch. However, to her relief it seemed as though the chakra was not getting any closer. It was when Haku smiled at her that she knew they would be okay. She let out a sigh of relief before putting away her senbon.

"I think we're safe."

Akimoto smiled back and nodded in agreement.

"I don't know what that was..."

"Neither do I..." she whispered "I've never felt anything like that before"

"Please, get some rest, Akimoto. I will watch over you."

Akimoto blushed a tiny bit before grinning at him. "Only if I can sleep on your lap" She teased. Akimoto's playful side was not something people got to see often. Most of the time she was usually quiet and closed off, but she had known Haku for a very long time. She was comfortable around him and she knew she could be playful and goofy without him judging her.

"I'll find a way. Why did you come back here??"
"What I do is none of your concern, Kakashi." Zabuza growled, not taking his eyes off the woman as she struggled to free herself. He frowned, noticing the sword was slowly coming loose as the bark began to burn away on the tree trunk. He drew a kunai, waiting for her to break loose - who would she go after first...? "Whatever you're planning on doing - do it now!" He warned, moments too late. He ducked as the sword flew from Jadens neck and slammed into the tree behind him. She instantly bolted forward, tackling the large man to the ground - her chakra burning at his skin as she punched him across the face, tearing his bandages.
"Sensei - what do we do??" Sasuke asked, slightly panicking as he watched her easily take down Zabuza. She suddenly froze, her gaze focused on the young Uchiha. Sasuke felt his body freeze... those eyes... he couldn't look away. He felt his body suddenly overcome with fear, and dropped his kunai. What was this strange power she had over him? She let out another low growl, advancing on him and Naruto.





"Only if I can sleep on your lap"
Haku felt himself blush, but slowly smiled as he relaxed. He rarely got to see this side of her, but he thought it was adorable. He chuckled quietly.
"Of course" He whispered, pulling her close and gently kissing her forehead. He sat down by the fire, and glanced around. Zabuza had not returned. He wasn't too worried - the man had left him on his own for longer in the past. He looked towards Akimoto - but he wasn't alone, was he? A smile crossed Haku's lips. He would never be alone again - as long as he had her.
