SAMANTHA LYNN HARPER
just call me SAM though.
i've been around for TWENTY-ONE years now.
in matters of the heart, i like GIRLS the most.
Sam was born in some tiny little hick town in the state of Oklahoma. Her mother was sixteen, her father her twenty-two year old second cousin. Her mom worked in a local diner, and her dear ole' dad worked for his father in the only auto shop for miles. She often jokes that they were the basically the poster family for inbreeding. She was the first of five children, and she often times would leave the house for weeks at a time to avoid being around her siblings and parents. She left the house when she was only fourteen. But, no one really knows why. She just won't tell that story. She decided to hitch hike her way to where ever she could get, and ended up in Chicago within a couple weeks. She was quickly recruited into one of the many gangs of the area, and ascended pretty quickly due to her seeming lack of conscience, and willingness to do anything for the boss, no questions asked. Far from being a risk taker, or a glory hog though, Sam became quite popular in the gang, and is now considered to be one of the Boss's go to guys. Or, girl, in this case. When she'd not working, Sam is a rather solitary figure. She spends her nights off at home, watching cartoons, and cuddling with her Lab/Chow mix, Missy, or at some bar, hoping to pick up some innocent girl for another one night stand. When she wants to, she can be charming, friendly, and flirty. It's mostly just an act. Of course, there's a core that wants love and attention, but where can a girl who works for the mob in Chicago find that?

JESSICA MORRSON LITHIN
just call me JESSIE though.
i've been around for EIGHTEEN years now.
in matters of the heart, i like GIRLS the most.
Jessica was born and raised as the daughter of a well known boss. She is the second oldest of three children. Her older brother is a university student who goes to school in Europe. She and her siblings are actually all half-siblings. Jessica's mother died when she was only in her second year of middle school. A year later, her father re-married, his third wife, and they had a son the following year. After the birth of her younger brother, Jessica and her older brother became closer. Her father still loves her very much but she tends to distance herself when her step-mother is around. Jessica's brother is the only one who knows she likes girls, then again, he's also gay.
Jessica, though being pretty laid-back, is quiet smart. She has a sharp mind that picks out things that most would look over. Because of this, Jessica is constantly helping out her father with deals and such. The girl is usually a happy person when not around her step-mother. She is athletic and loves to play any sport. Jessica can be quiet random and weird. The teenager is a creative and energetic person as well. Due to her past, Jessica became sly and secretive.

x x x x x With a wide yawn, Sam rolled onto her back and stretched her arms. She nearly jumped when her hand brushed against what he hoped was someone's head. Reluctantly, she forced one eye open, and peered across the bed. She spotted a blonde head of mussed up hair decorating the second pillow on his bed, and grimaced. She remembered going to her local haunt, Pluto, but she didn't remember bringing home anyone. How many drinks had she had? Forcing herself to sit, she groaned. Too damn many, judging by the screaming that was going on in her head. She rubbed at the bridge of her nose, and looked over at the girl again. 'I wonder what her name is...' Biting at her bottom lip, she gingerly extracted herself from the blankets, and tip-toed into the bathroom. Studying her reflection for a moment, she frowned, and turned to the shower. Turning the water on hot, she stripped out of the only item of clothing she had on, a pair of dark blue boy shorts, and stepped under the water. Her eyes slid closed, and she felt instantly better. She let her mind wander, and ran her fingers through her hair, pushing it all back away from her face.
x x x x x Sometime later, while she was still just standing under the water, mainly just focusing on breathing she heard the door squeak just a bit as it was pushed open. She whipped back the shower curtain, only to let out a sigh of relief. It was only... Her. She still hadn't been able to come up with her name. She stood there, smiling, her pale hair knotted and going everywhere. Her grin, although adorable, slightly annoyed Sam. She seemed far too comfortable. "Mind if I join you in there, sweetie?" Her voice held no accent, something Sam wasn't used to. Almost everyone in Chicago had some kind of tweak to their voice. Who was this girl? Sam shook her head, and bit at her bottom lip a moment before answering. "Normally, I would say 'Jump in!' but I'm not much in the mood at the moment. Maybe later, hun?" He smiled, almost sincerely, and a plan to get her name formed in his head. "But! I'm about to hop out, and since I'm sure you wanna clean up, you can just take over the shower. And, well I gotta go see a friend about something, so I'll be leaving, but just leave your number on the table when you go. I'll give you a call, yeah?" She grinned again, and climbed out of the shower, wrapping the nearest towel around herself. This girl had the greediest eyes she'd ever seen. She must have scanned her three times in the time it took her to get the towel. She nodded, pouted prettily, and as Sam turned to leave, stripped off her shirt and bounced into the shower. Sam closed the door behind him, and sighed. ********, she had the craziest luck with women.
x x x x x Not even ten minutes later, Sam was slipping out her front door, listening to make sure the shower was still running. She had quickly dressed herself in a pair of black skinny jeans, a tight fitting green shirt, and a lightweight black sweater. She had slipped some mismatched socks, and tugged on a pair of black Vans slip-ons. She grabbed her keys and wallet out of the pants she had worn the night before, and her phone was sitting, nearly dead, on the kitchen counter. She would just charge it when he got to the Boss's place. That guy always talked a while, so it would be pretty charged by the time Sam left. She closed the door behind her quietly, feeling odd that she was sneaking around in her own apartment, and reached up to finger comb her hair. Normally, she would have put a lot more work into it, but she didn't want to deal with that girl for the time being. With one last glance to the front door of her apartment, she dashed down the hall, and down the few flights of stairs that led to the underground parking garage of her apartment building. She hoped that she had parked in her normal spot last night, and sure enough, there was her car. A '69 Chevy Chevelle SS. Her baby. Even drunk she could park perfectly. An involuntary grin spread across her face as she climbed into the driver's side of the mint colored car. The car roared to life, and after the fiddling with the radio for a minute, she pulled out of the garage.
x x x x x Twenty minutes later, Sam pulled into the driveway of a damn decent looking brownstone. She hopped out of the car, pocketed the keys, and as she walked to the front door, she pushed up the sleeves of her jacket. It was decently cool out, but the humidity was something Sam just couldn't get used to. Knocking on the door, she shoved her hands into her pockets, and chewed at her bottom lip. No answer came from within, but she knew that one of the maid's was peering through the peephole at this very moment. A few seconds later, the door was swung open, and sure enough, there stood a busy-looking old lady. She signaled her in, and snapped the door shut behind her. She bustled off to go back to whatever house work she was doing without a second look to the visitor, but that was fine with Sam. She knew where to go. Navigating through the house, she found the Sitting Room, and behind an imposing mahogany desk sat a chubby, fourty something year old man wearing a self satisfied grin. "Sammie! There's my girl. Good morning!" He held out both arms, and then motioned to a chair. "I have an assignment for you, Sam. You'll be intrigued..."
x x x x x Intrigued was not the word Sam would have chosen. Confused. Annoyed. Bothered. Those seemed to fit better. Sam had just been told that he had a new hit to do. That part wasn't hard to understand, or anything out of the ordinary for the girl. But, the target was some eighteen year old girl. And, apparently the daughter of a rival boss. And protected. Well, duh. She was a Boss' daughter. None of that was too hard to follow. What had bothered Sam was the fact that to kill this one, she was given very specific directions. She couldn't just snipe her, arrange for her to get attacked, or cut the brakes on a car. No, she had to get to know her. As in, chat with, hang out with, and become friends with a girl she was going to end up killing. That was something she had never done. Never. She had barely any friends within the gang, and none of them had to worry about Sam coming after them. What was the point of getting to know someone only to have to kill them? It seemed like a bunch of wasted effort to Sam. But, shrugging inwardly, she climbed back into the driver's seat of her car. She reached into her pocket and groaned. She had completely forgotten to plug in her phone. She pulled it out anyway, and flipped it open. The screen was black. It was completely dead. She closed it, and put it back in her pocket. With a frown marring her face, she pulled out of the driveway and headed home. Part of her hoped the girl was still there, and the other part of her called him stupid for thinking such things. It had been nearly two hours. Of course she wouldn't be there. Then, deciding that she didn't need her phone that bad, she pulled a U-ie and headed towards the local Java Shoppe. She needed some caffeine. And quick. It was one of the few things that calmed her nerves, oddly enough.

Jessica Morrson Lithin

x x x x x"Argh! Shut up!" said an irritated voice. A hand then came down on an alarm clock that was going off. After a few mumbled curse words, Jessica Lithin managed to pull her self out of her warm and comfortable bed. The female swayed her way over to her bathroom. She needed to have some cold water pouring over her. It was to get her up of course. Jessica turned on her shower, the water cold. Jessie started to strip her clothes and put them in the hamper. Which is neat seeing that the girl tended to walk into thing when she was wide awake.
x x x x xThe teenager stepped into the shower and stood there for a few seconds under the ice water. Once her brain got the message that she was freezing, Jessie's eyes flew open. "Cold!" The female's yell rang through out the house waking up anyone who wasn't already up. Jessie danced around under the shower until she remembered to switch the water to warm. "Hot water, an amazing thing," the woman sighed happily.
x x x x xJessie stepped out from the shower and dried off. She quickly crossed over to her closet and dressed. Despite the stereotype of girls taking a long time to get ready, the teenager had learned to move fast just to get out of the house. Jessie liked all of her family except her step-mother. Normally the girl was all happy and bubbly. When she was around the lady who was now her mother, well, she pretty much became a calm person who didn't like to talk much. The only one that Jessie trusted completely was her older half-brother, Jacob.
x x x x x"Morning everyone," Jessie said as she walked into the dining room. "Good morning!" came a happy reply. Her younger half brother. The three of them all had different mothers. With a sigh, the female sat down at the table. Every morning it was the same thing. Get up, get ready, eat breakfast then get the hell out of the place. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go out and walk around," the girl excused herself and waled out to the door. "I don't care if you all follow me but please. I just don't want to see you," Jessie said to her body guards. She didn't like people knowing that she was rich. Bodyguards were something that immediately gave you away.
x x x x xJessie hopped into her blue convertible and drove away. She didn't care to much were she was going she just wanted to go somewhere. The teenager was actually a fresh out of high school student. She was planning to go study abroad. Maybe go to England so she was near Jacob. With a sigh, the student pulled into a parking spot. She slid out of her car and walked into a local Java Shoppe. After ordering so coffee, Jessie sat down at a window seat. Looking to find any cute girls. Her father and step mother had no clue that she liked girls. No just, her older brother. Then again, he liked guys so it made sense if they under stood each other.

x x x x x Pulling her baby into the farthest available parking spot, Sam hopped out and headed into the coffee shop. Shoving the keys into her pocket, she sent an appraising eye to a blue little convertible sitting outside. She had never been a fan of flashy cars, but something about convertibles always struck her as sexy. The mental image of flooring it down an empty highway, hair blowing in the wind always made her smile in spite of herself. Pushing open the door, she swore to herself about the size of the line. Of course, it was later in the morning than she would have normally come in, so she was unused to the number of customers. Standing in line, she had to do a double take as she spotted a young blonde who looked awfully familiar. Was that-- No, it couldn't have been. The girl she had just been told about this morning?
x x x x x If this wasn't some cosmic set up, she didn't know what was. How often do you just happen to "run into" the girl you just hired to hit in a local coffee shop? Sam's guess was that it wasn't too often. She watched as the girl fetched her coffee, and Sam just prayed that she stayed in the shop to drink it. She couldn't let such an oppurtunity to pass after all, and following the girl outside without the frapuccino she had come for would have been a sin, in Sam's eyes. Luckily though, her praying paid off and the girl took a seat in one of the many plush chairs in the place. Tapping her toe in impatience, Sam kept an eye on the blonde, making sure she didn't go anywhere. When she finally got up to the person behind the counter, she practically tossed the money at her, and shot an impatient glance at the man who finally handed her her drink.
x x x x x Then, clearing her mind, she set herself into "friendly" mode. She walked up to the blonde, a small smile on her face. She leaned over slightly, swiping bangs out of her face, a well practiced move in looking casual, and said in an equally practiced voice, "Mind if I sit here, honey?" She pointed to a seat near the girl, and grinned. She let her eyes absorb all of the girl as she waited for an answer. In the picture she had been shown, you could only see the girl's face, but with the full package in front of her, Sam wondered why anyone would want to waste such a perfectly good woman for no reason other than to attack her father. But, with a mental slap at herself, she wiped away the thoughts. It wasn't up to Sam who to kill, and who not to kill. It was just her job to do what she was told, and that's exactly what she planned to do.
ooc }} oh my god. it's so small. i'm sorry! >_<

Jessica Morrson Lithin

x x x x xAfter a bit, Jessie had grown tired of staring out the window. She hadn't seen any girl who was her type. So, the teenager had looked around the cafe to see if there was a girl she liked in there. Sadly, she had been a bit out of it so she hadn't surveyed the shop yet. Out of all the female's there, only one caught Jessie's eye. That one happened to be a black haired girl standing in line. Still, the student highly doubted that the female was interested in other girls. So she went back to staring out the window silently.
x x x x xJessie had been so bored that she zoned out. When a female voice reached her mind she jumped slightly. The teenager felt slightly embarrassed to be caught so out of it. Still, it wasn't till her eyes saw the face of the person talking that she blushed. "Su-sure, it's fine by me," she stuttered in reply. When a girl that she didn't know, or anyone really, talked to her, she became very shy. No one would have guessed that seeing that Jessie was a very outgoing person.
x x x x xJessie made a motion with her hands to show that the female could sit down by her. Dang this blush! My shy attitude as well! she thought to herself. "H-hi, my name's Jessica," the teenager said quietly. The female was just so much more attractive up close. How did this happen to her? It felt like good luck and bad luck were working together to make her life like this. Her blush was a cute pink that dusted her face. It made it obvious that she was incredibly shy.
