Because, I don't need one. Or a lot, for that matter.

I'm happy in my own skin, and proud of the choices I make. I do, however, have beliefs.

I believe in binding yourself for life to one man, or woman, depending on sexuality prefrences. I believe in honoring all life, and in souls.

I don't need to have someone standing over me with almighty powers, threatening to destroy me if I make a mistake. I don't need to feel like I'll get divine punishment if I make a mistake, I follow my own rules because I know what feels right, and what feels wrong. <3

I'm not scared into religion like most people are. I don't need a "god" to feel confident that I'm a good person. =3

I don't, however, look down on you for needing one. You're just scared, and that's okay. I hold nothing against religious people whatsoever. ^^

If this law passes it means that churches wont be able to preach parts of our own bible! Trouble is, we can’t force these people to love God for God didn’t force us to love him. What we can do is just plant the seeds, and pray for their souls. They will figure it out once it’s too late. But we won’t have any shame because we were the ones that told them. But this wont go on forever. What will go on is God and us with him.

There is no threat to destroy you, and what most people don't understand is that the "Divine punishment" is a choice for you to make. By choosing not to accept God you're saying, "Yeah, you see that one right there? The one that says: 'Perpetual Burning and Torture in Hell', thats the one I want."

And the persecution complex continues. I hardly see Christianity going anywhere. And what is it about not preaching certain sections of the Bible that Christians dislike so much? Practically no one reads Leviticus.

As with any religion, our ability to choose for belief or non-belief shows how little control the supernatural world has on us. It wouldn't take any effort on God's part to reveal his existence, yet his spectacular failure to do so is quite telling. I'm not going to completely deny the possibility of a deity or deities, but what more can belief prove, other than to show your acceptance of one series of unsubstantiated religious tenets over others?

Leviticus is the old laws which are no longer applicable because of Jesus dieing to save you. His death canceled out the Old Laws. (And trust me if he didnt life would suck. XD)
