Here's my question on the whole Satan she-bang:

Okay, so the basic story on the creation of Lucifer was that he was the most beautiful angel, most highly beloved by God, then he got cocky and was like, "That throne needs to get PWNzors for myself. Let's rally and take down the Man!" And, of course, failed, was cast from Heaven, and became the b*****d we know today.

Alright, we know that angels were created for no other purpose than to serve the Lord. They had no other thought, no other duty or hobby or obsession, they were created with no capacity for creation themselves, only the desire to serve. So then how did Lucifer get it in his head to rebel?

And another thing, his name couldn't have been Lucifer or Satan while he was an angel, right? Because all of them had the Hebrew "el", meaning "messenger of God" or something to that affect, would he have been Lucifel? Just a thought.

One final thing that's interesting: Elohim, God. The name Jehovah is the generally accepted pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton, but Elohim is how He's referred to in Genesis and the Sepher Yetzirah. The name Elohim points to God as being androgynous: "Elo" is the root word for deity, "Eloh" is a female singular, and "im" is the plural ending for masculine things. Ergo Elohim, the Divine Androgyne, both He and She.

oh, and Angels are like humans as well, they have thought and feeling but unlike us, they are spiritual beings that act as a "bridge" between us and God

I disagree. I'm fuzzy on the ranks of Angels (only knowing archangels are the highest, cherubim are around the lowest, and dominion are somewhere in the middle, but other than that, I'm lost), but I'm pretty sure none of them got that free will that we've got. With no free will or thought to act outside of the realm that God specifically created them for, why would Lucifer be the one to deviate? What could have placed that urge in his head, if the only urge he had ever known or imagined was to do what God told him?

some angels who joined him also thought the way lucifer did, its just that lucifer was daring enough to openly step up to God unlike the others

No, dude, I don't think you get what I'm asking.

Angels have NO FREE WILL, theoretically. So how did Lucifer obtain one?
Why dont i believe in "god"
Hmm.
Hes supposed to be all mighty and can save people.
Because of "god,"
Ive had to watch 3 of the people i love the most die.
Right before my eyes.
No matter how much i prayed,
They died.
And he hasnt answered my prayers.
He hasnt done ANYTHING to help me.

Plus.
Wheres the proof that hes real?

THATS why i dont believe

how do u know that they DONT? i read they are a higher form than us, and are made in the shape of God like us, except for the fact they are spiritual beings. besides, if they have no free will, then why did God give us free will and he didnt give angels one?

Alright, I'll explain it again: Angels were created for no other reason than to serve Elohim, yaah? They were given no free will because that would conflict entirely with their purpose. We were created as His children, am I right? I think He gave us free will because that was how He wanted His creation to work out, and if we were meant to understand it, then we would.

Working from your theory, with them being higher, closer to God, than us, and having been created without a sex, wouldn't that reinforce the theory that God has no sex because It is all sexes?

Dude, are you joking? Philosophers that didn't go along with the Greek Pantheon were either locked up for life or killed. Fantastic example of an accepting society.
I respect those who have faith and wish it were the thing for me sometimes but I just can't do it. I have tried.

I can't maintain the lie.
I don't believe in the Bible.
Nor the Koran.
Nor the Kabbala.
Nor any other religious material or humans that preach that there is a single entity out there.
I think that the Ancient Gods of Norse, Egyptian, Greece/Rome, etc. Are more believe than the modern day "God".

Why? I have no idea. blaugh
I don't believe in anything because no one ever told me to.
We live, we die, we rot, I guess. neutral

We dont...cause we didnt get to see god with our own eyes..

that is the beauty of it

i don't understand how many people will believe
in extraterrestrial beings, which is a possibility,
but not God. I haven't seen Him either,
but there are the accounts of those that did see God.
is that not enough?

Okay then, by that line of logic you should also believe in Unicorns and the flying spagetti monster.

What accounts of people who have seen god?

Are you talking about stories in the bible?

You'd also have to realise that for every acount of someone seeing the christian god, there's an account for someone seeing a version of god/s from any number of other religions. So that's clearly not enough.

yes yes, those accounts.
The accounts from the Bible have to be true!
No great mind has found any fault in the Bible.
the other accounts, I'd have to look at them
and study them myself, but until then
they may be true, they may have been figments of their imagination,
they could have been visions of the devil or his demons.
and unicorns could have existed
but the flying spaghetti monster??? now that's bologna
but why do you say Christian God
he's the God of everybody and everything
I'm an agnostic, and don't follow any religion.

I can't say God does or doesn't exist, because there is simply no proof.
moe1002
let me ask you this... do you really think there is some random guy that some how made planets and stars and a BIIIIGGGG open blackness out of nothing and he put a guy on the planet that mom has never had sex and yet somehow has a baby and somehow he could talk to that baby and he could walk on water and change matter? the only one who can walk on water is criss angel, oh and WHERE is god if your so smart? if he doesnt exsist yet he does THAT MAKES NO SENCE

I'm sorry but you're very confusing
First of all he's not random
second, if Mary had sex then Jesus would have been sinful
because man is responsible for bringing sin into the world.
Jesus is the physical from of God. He already was, He is, and He always will be. He needed to become human, to die, and then conquer death.
God is in heaven. A spiritual place that you could only see if you were dead. actually i don't even know if you even get the pearly gates when you die.
i guess that is something we'll all have to find out.
